Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(14):18-20
Objective To demonstrate the feasibility, effectiveness and reliability of combination of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH) and excision-closed hemorrhoidectomy (ECH) for severe hemorrhoids. Methods Sixty patients with Ⅲ- Ⅳ degree hemorrhoids which left remnant prolapsed hemorrhoids after stapled hemorrhoidopexy, were randomly divided into group A (PPH with additional ECH group,30 cases.) and group B [PPH with additional Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy (MMH) group, 30 cases]. Ten indexes of the results in two groups were compared. ResultsThe hemorrhoidectomy lasted (35.6 ± 5.3) min in group A and (47.3 ± 10.2) min in group B. The indexes related to 24 h visual analogue scale (VAS) after operation were (2.9 ± 1.2) scores in group A and (5.7 ± 1.9) scores in group B. Wound healing time were (6.3 ± 1.4) d in group A and (28.5 ± 4.8) d in group B. Many indexes showed the results in group A was better than those in group B ( P < 0.05 ). The six-month follow-up visits after operation showed no complications, such as recurrence in either group. ConclusionsCombination treatment for Ⅲ -Ⅳ degree hemorrhoids with PPH with additional ECH is a easy,safe,reliable,minimal-aching and quick-recovering method of hemorrhoidectomy with favorable results than PPH with additional MMH.

By one trial passive avoidance respense-step-down task and water maze spatial localizat ion task, the effect of Ginseng and Angelica Sinensis Decotion (GASD)on pathological mod els of the anmesia rat with hippocampal lesions induced by quiuolinic acid was studied. Re sults suggest that GASD can improve learning aud memory deficiency in rats with bilateral hippocampal lesions after administration of quinolinic acid. The major mechanism of GASD may be related to the regulation of the glutamatergic fuuction and prevention of the neuro toxicity of quinolinic acid

Objective:To prepare resveratrol microemulsions by high pressure homogenization method and characterize the microe-mulsions. Methods:Using the particle size, polydispersion index and encapsulation efficiency as the indicators, the independent varia-bles of the preparation were inspected, and the microemulsions were characterized. The stability of resveratrol microemulsions was stud-ied by long term stability test preliminarily. Results:The mean particle size, polydispersion index and zeta potential of resveratrol mi-croemulsions was (231 ± 37. 8) nm, 0. 228 ± 0. 047 and ( -42. 5 ± 4. 3) mV, respectively. The microemulsions were found to be small and spherical with smooth surface under a transmission electron microscope. Long term stability studies showed that the microe-mulsions were stable in 3 months after stored at 25℃. Conclusion:The preparation process of high pressure homogenization method for resveratrol microemulsions is simple and feasible.
7.Influence of Budesonide-Solution Inhaled Therapy on Airway Resistance in Asthmatic Bronchitis Children
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To examine the changes of the airway resistance(AR) in asthmatic bronchitis children before and after budeso-nide-solution inhaled therapy. Methods Fifty-six cases of asthmatic bronchitis children were randomly divided into A(regular treatment+budesonide-solution inhaled) and B groups(regular treatment),and 30 normal children at the same age as control group. The AR was eva-luated by Microloop lung function meter with MicoroRint sensor. The changes of AR were compared within above 3 groups. Results AR in asthmatic bronchitis children increased significantly compared with normal children. After 2 weeks treatment,AR decreased significantly in both A and B groups compared with that of 2 groups before therapy,AR in A groups declined to normal control level, but still kept higher level in B groups. Conclusions AR in asthmatic bronchitis children increase significantly. The effect of Budesonide-solution in asthmatic bronchitis children is partly via reducing AR to improve ventilated condition.

Objective: To establish a RP HPLC for determination of puerarin in Heat clearing Toxin resolving Decoction. Methods: A Hypersil C 18 column with acetonitrile 2% glacial acetic acid (8.5:91.5) as a mobile phase was used. The flow rate was 0.8ml?min 1 and the detective wavelength was 250nm. Results: The calibration curve was linear at a range of 0.424 4.240?g for the puerarin (r=0.9998). The average recovery was 101.3% and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.4%. Conclusion: The methld is simple, accurate with a good reproducibility and can be used as a quantitative analysis method for this preparation.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 1995;0(04):-
Objective:To evaluate the significance of expression of laminin (LN) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary glands. Methods:Ultrasensitive immunohistochemical staining(S-P) was used to examine LN and VEGF expression in specimens from 34 patients with adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary glands. Results:Higher LN expression was found in adenoid or tubular type of the cases (P0.05). Higher VEGF expression was found in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ of the tumor (P0.05). Conclusion: LN and VEGF expression may be served as one of the predictors for the biological behavior of adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary glands.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of edaravone combined with β-aescin sodium for treatment of elderly patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage, and the dynamic changes of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and C-reactive protein (CRP),vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) levels in serum in such patients before and after treatment. Methods A total of 99 elderly patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage admitted to Henan Nanyang Second General Hospital from April 2014 to February 2016 were enrolled, and they were divided into control group (49 cases) and observation group (50 cases) according to the random digital table.Conventional treatment were given to both groups, patients in the observation group were added with edaravone 30 mg intravenous drip,2 times a day and β-aescin 20 mg intravenous drip, once daily. After treatment for consecutive 2 weeks, the clinical effect and neurological deficit score (NDS) were observed in the two groups;serum CRP levels were detected by immunonephelometry;TNF-αα and VEGF were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The changes of CRP,VEGF,TNF-α levels and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of NDS,CRP,VEGF and TNF-α in both groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the degrees of decrease in treatment group were more significant than those in control group [NDS score:13.01 ± 1.37 vs.20.63 ± 1.68,CRP (mg/L):8.05 ± 3.97 vs.10.04 ± 4.17,VEGF (ng/L):97.25 ± 13.73 vs.116.43 ± 14.10,TNF-α (ng/L):8.15 ± 2.52 vs.11.54 ± 2.22,all P < 0.05];the total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group [92.00% (46/50) vs.77.55% (38/49),P < 0.05].The difference of incidence of adverse reaction between observation group and control group was not statistically significant [4.00% (2/50) vs.8.16% (4/49),P > 0.05].Conclusions Edaravone combined with β-aescin sodium for treatment of elderly patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage can effectively promote the recovery of neurological function, and its rolemight be related to the regulation of the levels of CRP,TNF-α and VEGF.
