Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(01):-
Contents of magnolol and honokiol in Magnolia officinalis Rehd. et Wils. and its processed products,yellow-fried, burn -fried and ginger-fried M. officinalis Rehd. et Wils. as well as commercially available M.officinalis Rehd. et Wils. and its processed products were assayed by TLC Scanning. Results showed that contents of the two constituents decreased after M. officinalis Rehd. et Wils. was processed. Among them the burn-fried product showed a most pronounce decrease of 30%, while both yellow-fried and ginger-fried products decreased about 20%. The contents of magnolol and honokiol in commercial M. officinalis Rehd. et Wils. and its ginger-fried product available in other provinces and cities differed greatly with some almost contain no magnolol and honokiol.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(09):-
Objective Aimed at the problems that the costs of existing ECG data compression methods is high, and they are difficult to apply in engineering practice,a sort BP neural network is set up based on ECG data compression method. Methods Based on BP network theory, two three-layered feedforward neural networks were set up.Then every one heartbeat was divided into three waves, that is,P,QRS and T ones, and the three waves were compressed by two three-layered feedforward neural network individually. In order to improve the replay capability and interference rejection capability of the neural network compress algorithm, incompletely connected structure is employed. Results The method could realize high compress ratio, and improve the replay capability and interference rejection capability of the heartbeat waves. Conclusion Upon with the heartbeat signals, the method can filter and compress waves effectively, and can be used in engineering practice as well.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(02):-
Clinical obstetrics practice is a very important process. According to our exploration on it on 7-year-systemmedical students in our hospital for nine years, we think that if you want high quality 7-year-system medical students, five concepts should be emphasized besides traditional basic knowledge, basic theory and basic skill, which are familyplanning and eugenics, loving infants, whole concept, new medical model and renewing knowledge.
5.Germ cell membrane lipids in spermatogenesis.

National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(5):450-454
Spermatogenesis is a complex developmental process in which a diploid progenitor germ cell transforms into highly specialized spermatozoa. During spermatogenesis, membrane remodeling takes place, and cell membrane permeability and liquidity undergo phase-specific changes, which are all associated with the alteration of membrane lipids. Lipids are important components of the germ cell membrane, whose volume and ratio fluctuate in different phases of spermatogenesis. Abnormal lipid metabolism can cause spermatogenic dysfunction and consequently male infertility. Germ cell membrane lipids are mainly composed of cholesterol, phospholipids and glycolipids, which play critical roles in cell adhesion and signal transduction during spermatogenesis. An insight into the correlation of membrane lipids with spermatogenesis helps us to better understand the mechanisms of spermatogenesis and provide new approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility.

7.Sulfogalactosylglycerolipid in spermatogenesis and fertilization.
Xiao SHI ; Ting WANG ; Song QUAN
National Journal of Andrology 2015;21(2):175-178
Sulfogalactosylglycerolipid (SGG) is the main glycolipid in male mammalian germ cells, which is selectively and highly expressed in mammalian testes and helps form the lipid bilayer of cell membrane. In the process of spermatogenesis, SGG is involved in the meiosis of spermiocytes. Either deficiency or accumulation of SGG will lead to male infertility. SGG homeostasis in the testis is the premise of normal spermatogenesis. In the process of sperm-zona binding, SGG becomes a component of lipid raft and provides a platform for signal transduction. The SGG binding protein plays a role in sperm-egg recognition and membrane fusion. SGG has a great research value and application prospect in male reproduction.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2010;30(1):63-66
Objective To establish an animal model of PCOS and to detect the DNA methylation states of LHR, INSR and AR genes. Methods 24-days-old female Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into two groups. The rats in the experimental group were given subcutaneous implanting of levonorgestrel silica gel staff and injected 1.5 IU hCG twice daily for 9 days from the 4th day. The rats in the control group were injected with normal saline at the same time. Ovarian morphologic changes, sex hormone levels, fasting serum insulin and glucose were detected. The LHR, INSR and AR genes' DNA methylation patterns were checked by methylation specific PCR in modeling group and control group. Results The ovarian weight and volume in modeling group were higher than those in control group. The ovaries in modeling group showed multiple follicular cysts, and the number of theca cells and interstitial cells increased. Less developed follicles and corpus lutea were seem. The serum level of progesterone, testosterone, luteinizing hormone, fasting insulin and glucose were significantly higher in experimental group than those in control group, so as the LH/FSH ratio and HOMA index. No methylation of LHR and AR genes were found in both groups. The methylation frequency of INSR gene (76.7%) was significantly higher in modeling group than that in control group (P<0. 001). Conclusion The depression of INSR gene's transcriptional induced by DNA methylation is important in the development of insulin resistance in PCOS.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(08):-
Objective To explore early diagnostic methods for ulnar impaction syndrome on the basis of suggested criteria. Methods From December 1998 to December 2004,123 cases complained of ulnar pain. They were checked and diagnosed according to the criteria of Yu-dong Gu,and especially, the results of wrist MRL Forty-eight of them were diagnosed as ulnar impactinn syndrome.A retrospective study was done to analyze the char- acteristies of X-ray and MRI in examining ulnar impaction syndrome, clinical symptoms of the wrist, and the association between Chun & Palmer's scoring systems and imaging manifestations. Results Most of the cases of ulnar impaction syndrome had positive lunar variance (68.8%).Carpal avascular necrosis was found in about 27.1% of the cases through X-ray examination of the wrist,64.7% of whom were lunar osteonecrosis.Abnormal changes in signal intensity occurred in the MRI findings of the syndrome cases. The carpal necrosis was always located at the ulnar side of lunare or (and) at the waist and bottom of triquetrum. There was a close relationship between clinical symptoms and Chun & Palmer's grading systems and carpal imaging,MRI in particular Conclusion Early diagnosis of ulnar impaction syndrome can be made easily on the basis of deep understanding of the syndrome, clinical symptoms, and findings of imaging, especially MRI.
10.A New Phase of Bacteria Life Cycle:Long-term Stationary Phase
Xue-Song LUO ; Cheng-Xiang FANG ; Jing-Quan TAN ;
Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
The traditional view of bacterial life cycle consists of four phases, namely, lag phase, exponential or logarithmic phase, stationary phase and death phase.Although the standard textbook description of the bacterial life cycle has been useful, might not always provide us the whole visage of bacteria growth process.Recently,it has demonstrated that bacterial life cycle is expanded to five phases. It is a significant different growth phase after death phase:long-term stationary phase, which may be more akin to the nature environment in which microorganisms exist.Microbial cells survive due to mutating, and forming growth advantage during stationary phase (GASP) phenotype in this phase. It is very important for further study the microorganisms in this phase.
