Objective To observe the changes and relationships of glucose (Glu),insulin(Ins) ,insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) in newborn infant with hypixic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and the protective role which Ins,IGF-1 worked on neuron.Methods HIE 50 cases,the quantity of IGF-1 in serum was detected by radioimmunoassay,the quantity of Ins in serum was detected by chemiluminescent immunoassay,the quantity of glucose in serum was detected by the instrument with type of Rokangquan TM accutive.The umbilical vein blood 2 mL were drawn from 20 cases of controls after birth.The indexes were detected by the same methods.Results 1.In acute period,the level of serum IGF-1 reduced obviously in newborn infants with HIE,and Glu increased obviously.There was a negative correlation between IGF-1 and Glu.The changes related with neonate complications.In rehabilited pe riod,the Glu get to normal,the IGF-1 was a little higher than that in acute period.but it still was lower than that of control group.There was negative correlation between IGF-1 and Glu.2.The level of Ins in serum of newborn infants with HIE had no obvious changes compairing with control group in acute period and rehabilited period.It had no relations with Glu,Ins.Conclusions It approves that IGF-1 and Glu in serum of newborn infants with HIE have obviously changed.This result will provide an academic base on treatment of HIE.

Objective To investigate the CT imaging features of pancreatic fatty replacement and its clinical significance. Methods Three patients with pancreatic fatty replacement detected by CT were retrospectively analyzed. CT examination included plain scan and contrast-enhanced scanning at the arterial and portal venous phases. The shape, size, density, pancreatic lobulation and interlobular spaces, course of the pancreatic duct were carefully observed. The clinic and laboratory data were also analyzed to determine the clinical significance of pancreatic fatty replacement. Results ①Imaging features: Two patients had complete fatty replacement involving the entire pancreas, another one had most fatty replacement sparing the posterior aspect of head and tail. Two patients had regular configuration of pancreas. The size of pancreas was slightly enlarged in 2 patients. Lobular atrophy and widening of interlobular spaces were present in all 3 patients. The pancreatic duct was normal in 3 patients. ②Clinic findings: Chronic diarrhea was present in 3 patients. Two patiens had diabetes (one had chronic cholangitis with choledochal lithiasis), another one had small stone in the common bile duct. Serum lipase was low in 3 patients, of which one had low serum amylase. Conclusion Pancreatic fatty replacement demonstrates certain characteristic CT appearances, and is usually associated with disturbances of both the endocrine and exocrine functions of the pancreas.

Taxus canadensis distributed mainly in North America, such as northern Minnesota, Newfoundland, south to Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Its composition has been shown to be very different from other species, and in recent years, some new skeletons also have been found in Canada yew. Through analysis of the taxanes content on various Taxus plants containing taxanes, the results showed a higher content of taxol in T. canadensis. Based on the current research on T. canadensis (from the research results of the author in recent years, as well as from studies of scholars in the field), the paper outlined the research progress in recent years on the chemical constituents of taxane of T. canadensis and the spectral characteristics of various types of compounds. Besides, this paper analyzed the present research about solutions for the taxol drug source crisis.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical significance of transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1)and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression in tissues of nasal inverted papilloma (NIP).MethodsThe clinical data of patients with NIP underwent surgical resection were retrospectively analyzed.The TGF-β1 and VEGF expression in NIP tissues and nasal polyps tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry method.100 patients with NIP were divided into benign lesions,atypical hyperplasia and malignant group according to result of pathological diagnosis,the nasal polyps was used as the control group.ResultsThe positive expression rate of TGF-β1 and VEGF in the NIP group were 46.0％ and 32.0％,compared with the control group the differences were significant(all P ＜ 0.05 ).In different pathological groups,the results of TGF-β1 and VEGF expression were malignant group ＞ atypical hyperplasia ＞ benign lesions.The positive expression rate of TGF-β1 and VEGF in the NIP group had significantly positive correlation(P ＜ 0.05).ConclusionThe TGF-β1 and VEGF expression were closely related to the the occurrence,development and malignant of NIP.TGF-β1 was highly expressed in the NIP tissues,and could increase the expression of VEGF and promote the formation of neovascularization of NIP.

Epicatechin content in Uncaria macrophylla Wall. was determined by RP-HPLC. As aresult, the epicatechin contents were 0.38％ in the hook and stem, and 0. 820％ in the leaf. Thus it seemedto be more worthwhile to produce epicatechin from the leaf rather than from the hook and stem.

Objective To study the right ventricular function of patients with pulmonary thromboembolism by using color Doppler ultrasound.Methods 31 patients with acute pulmonary thromboembolism,compared with 31 vohnteers,were enrolled in this study.The right ventricular anterior wall movement,right ventricular end diastolic volume,right ventricular ejection fraction,and myocardial performance index were observed by echocardiography.Resuits The right atrium diameter,right ventricles diameter,right ventrieular end diastolic volume and pulmonary artery inner diameter in study group were much larger than that in control group (P<0.01),and the right ventricular anterior wall movement and right ventrieular ejection fraction decreased in study group (P<0.01).Tricuspidal annular E peak velocity tended to be decreased,isovolumie relaxation time and isovolumic contraction time were prolonged and myocardial performance index was increased (P<0.01).Right ventricular myocardial performance index showed significant correlation with right ventrieular ejection fraction (r=0.78,P<0.01),isovolumic relaxation time and isovolumic contraction time(rl=0.88,r2=0.57,P<0.01).Conclusion The right ventricular function in patients with pulmonary thromboembelism is decreased and myocardial performance index is a sensitive index which can be used to reflect right ventricular function in pulmonary thromboembolism.

AIM:To observe the image features of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease (VKH) and multiple central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) by fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and optical coherence tomography (OCT).METHODS:Thirty-two eyes of 17 patients with VKH and thirty-five eyes of 30 patients with multiple CSC were collected from 2009 to 2016 in my hospital.RESULTS:All the eyes with VKH were found small and dense fluorescein leakage in the early stage.The 17 eyes (53%) with VKH were found fluorescein accumulation in the final stage;24 eyes (75%) with VKH were found high fluorescence of optic disc.All of eyes with multiple CSC were found multifocal leakage in the early stage.And 2 eyes (6%) with multiple CSC were found high fluorescence of optic disc.There were 28 eyes (14 patients) with VKH and 25 eyes (22 patients) with multiple CSC had been done OCT in my hospital.Retinal pigment epithelial fold was only found in VKH.Fluctuation of internal limiting membrane (ILM) and membrane structure had higher sensitivity to diagnostic VKH from to multiple CSC, with sensitivity of 54% and 68% respectively.CONCLUSION:There are some similarities as well as differences between FFA and OCT in diagnosis of VKH and multiple CSC.A combination usage of FFA and OCT can be more effective in distinguishing VKH from multiple CSC.

The current studies on the structure and action mechanism of pRNA, a packaging RNA of phage?29, showed that pRNA with multiple binding sites can through cell membrane easily and escort exogenous molecules to target cell, without inducing immune reaction. As an ideal nano-scale gene therapy vehicle, pRNA presents a promising application in delivering multiple therapeutic components to detect and treat human diseases.
