1.Effect of antibody-blocked HSP70 on the expression of BDNF in injured astrocytes
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(11):-
Objective:To study its effect on the expression of BDNF from injured astrocytes after HSP70 were blocked by HSP70-antibody. Methods:We performed scratch injuries in the cultured rat astrocytes, and added HSP70-antibody into the nu- trient medium at once after injury(intervention group). Then,at 30min,24h,4d,7d after injury, the expression of brain-derived neurotropic facto(rBDNF)was studied by immunocytochemical and reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).The immunocytochemical pictures were analyzed by image analysis system to abtain the average optical density of BDNF. Results: The expression of BDNF increased gradually with injury time.Compared with the control group, the average optical density of BDNF in the intervention group were significantly reduced(P

3.Tentative Results of Balloon Dilatation of the Pulmonary Valves.
Korean Circulation Journal 2000;30(6):745-750
BACKGROUND: Until now, the total correction of tetralogy of Fallot has remained controversial and the efficacy of balloon dilatation of the pulmonary valves in tetralogy of Fallot has not been confirmed. We tried balloon dilatation of the pulmonary valves in 9 patients with tetralogy of Fallot to evaluate its effect on oxygen saturation and pulmonary arterial growth. METHOD: In nine patients with tetralogy of Fallot was undergone balloon dilatation since 1992 until August in 1999. Before starting the procedure, we measured the diameters of the pulmonary annulus, both pulmonary arteries and descending aorta. Systemic oxygen saturation and shunt amount were also measured before and after the procedure and systemic oxygen saturation two months later. RESULTS: The mean value of the pulmonary annulus diameters was 5.36+/-1.12 mm and their z value was -4.0+/-1.4. The systemic oxygen saturation increased from a mean value of 64.0+/-19.6% to 82.4+/-8.4% right after the balloon dilatation and 82.0+/-7.9% two months later. McGoon ratio increased from a mean value of 1.66+/-0.33 before the procedure to 1.91+/-0.37 two months later. The mean value of shunt amount(Qp/Qs) was 0.52 before the procedure and 0.84 immediately after the procedure. Furthermore, there occurred no significant complication during and after the procedure. CONCLUSION: The balloon dilatation of the pulmonary valves in tetralogy of Fallot seems relatively safe and produces an immediate effect on cyanosis. And the procedure improves the growth of pulmonary arteries. However, further research and evaluation are needed.

5.Research progress of microRNA in lung cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2014;26(2):129-133
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a group of multifunctional regulators which plays crucial role in physiological and pathological processed ranging from development, differentiation and apoptosis to stress responscs.Over 50 % miRNAs are located in the tumor-associated region or the fragile chrosomal regions which are susceptible to amplification, deletion or translocation during the process of tumor onset and development.More recently, the new publications indicated that the miRNAs broaden the insight for the mechanism research of tumor metastasis and the applications of miRNAs in carcinoma diagnosis. The article focuses on the mechanism by which some miRNAs are deregulated in lung cancer, the clinical potential of these molecules as the diagnosis and prognosis biomarkers and the future of miRNAs to be potential therapeutic drugs.
6.Biocompatibility of carbon fiber interbody fusion cage versus titanium mesh cage in treatment of lumbar disc degeneration
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(12):1909-1913
BACKGROUND:The endplate can be combined closely with different intervertebral fusion cages through the pedicle screw internal fixation system, to provide a more reliable spine stability for reconstruction of intervertebral height, lumbar physiological curvature and biomechanical function. OBJECTIVE:To compare the effectiveness of carbon fiber interbody fusion cage and titanium mesh cage in lumbar disc degeneration. METHODS:Sixty patients with L3-S1 RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Sixty patients completed the 3-27 months folow-up, and had good bone fusion. Lumbar activity was normal in al the patients at 3 months after treatment. The Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores at 3 months after implantation and the intervertebral height at 1 week after implantation were significantly improved in the two groups (P < 0.05), but there was no difference between the two groups. The materials in the lumbar disc degeneration who underwent posterior lumbar interbody fusion, 33 males and 27 females, were randomized into carbon fiber interbody fusion cage group and titanium mesh cage group. Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores were compared between the two groups before and after the implantation, as wel as the intervertebral height, intervertebral fusion and complications. two groups had good biocompatibility with no rejection and no infection. Fusion cage subsidence occurred in two cases from the titanium mesh cage group. These findings indicate that both of carbon fiber interbody fusion cage and titanium mesh cage have good biocompatibility, improve the stability of the vertebral body, and restore the intervertebral height. Moreover, the carbon fiber material performance is better than the metal titanium mesh because of lower complication rate.
7.Cerebral Venous Malformation:Imaging Diagnosis and Evaluation
Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(07):-
Objective To evaluate the value and limitation of CTA, MRI and DSA in the diagnosis of the cerebral venous malformation. Methods CT angiography in 8 cases and MRI in 10 cases were performed among 12 cases of cerebral venous malformation confirmed by carotid angiography . Results All cases had typical DSA appearance and it could be seen both the number and the direction of the guide vein. The typical “Medusa-head” sign could be seen on MRI and could be more obvious after contrast enhancement. The other complications might be seen on the postcontrast. On CTA,both the lesion itself and the “caput medusae”sign could be displayed. Conclusion In diagnosis of cerebral venous malformation,DSA is the gold standard,CTA is the significant method in diagnosing and following up,while MRI is the most useful method.
8.Biological Effect of TGF
The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1995;30(5):1489-1495
I have examined the effects of a growth factor, transforming growth factor(TGF)-B 1, on the rates of proteoglycan synthesis, aggregation potenital, and phenotypic expression of proteoglycans from human cervical intervertebral discs maintained in a cell culture system. A cell culture system for transitional and nuclear regions of degenerated human cervical intervertebral disc disc was devised to assess the biosynthetic response, assayed by 35S-sulfate incorporation into proteoglycan and protein synthesis assayed by 35S-methionine incorporation. And I had the data as the TGF-B 1 has an effect on the proteoglycan synthesis in quantitative and qualitative analysis in the cell culture system of the human intervertebral disc. TGF-B 1 may be used as a therapeutic alternative to degenerated disc disease.

9.Separation and Analysis of Bacteria by Capillary Electrophoresis
Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
Recent developments on separation and analysis of bacterial cells by capillary electrophoresis are reviewed. Based on bacterial surface characterization, capillary electrophoresis technique can be utilized for rapidly identify and quantify intact bacteria and microbes at a certain phase. The microbe-molecule interactions can also be described. The separation of microbes that can not be cultured in lab appears to be possible by this method. It makes profound effects on separation science and microbiology to establish capillary electrophoresis procedure for the separation and analysis of bacterial cells.
