2.THE EFFECTS OF ACTINIDIA CHINENSIS PLANCH ON THE PREVENTION OF CANCERIII. The Blocking Effect of Fruit Juice on the Formation of N-Methyl-N'-Nitro-N- Nitrosoguanidine in VitroAmes Test
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
A model system which simulated the conditions of the human stomach was used in the experiments. Precursors NaNO2 and MNG formed MNNG and resulted in the positive mutagenic response to Salmonella typhimurium TA 100. When the concentration of the precursors was 50 mM NaNO2 and 100 mM MNG, the induced average number of revertant per plate was 4327 showed an approximate twenty fold spontaneous revertants. With diluting of the precursors, the mutagenic response was lower, showing a dose-response relationship between the mutagenic activity and the precursors concentration. It was found that, when precursor concentration was lower than 22.2 mM NaNO2 and 44.4 mM MNG, the formation of MNNG was blocked completely by the Chinese Kiwi fruit juice and mutation was inhibited. In the same concentration without the Chinese Kiwi fruit juice, the induced revertant was an approximate 13 fold of the spontaneous revertant. The Chinese Kiwi fruit could not block the formation of the MNNG when the precursors concentration was higher than 33.3 mM NaNO2, but it inhibited the mutagenic activity partly. Compared with the Chinese Kiwi fruit juice, the effect of the ascorbic acid solution in the same concentration was much less.It was demonstrated with TLC that MNNG was formed in the model system.

6.Exercise and adenosine triphosphate-sensitive potassium channel
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(46):7492-7497
BACKGROUND:In the condition of exercise physiology, adenosine triphosphate-sensitive potassium (KATP) channel plays an important role in many aspects, such as regulation of coronary artery tension, exercise-induced myocardial protection effect and delay of skeletal muscle fatigue. OBJECTIVE:To review and investigate the role of KATP in exercise in order to provide theoretical reference for understanding mechanism underlying exercise regulation of body’s metabolism. METHODS: A computer-based online search of PubMed and VIP databases was performed for articles related to molecular structure, biological function and regulatory role of KATP as wel as correlation of KATP with coronary artery, myocardium, skeletal muscle fatigue and exercise ability published from January 1991 to June 2014. The keywords were “KATP channels; adenosine triphosphate; sports; myocardium; ion channels” in English and Chinese, respectively. Finaly, 42 relevant articles were included in result analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Coupling with celular energy metabolism and cel membrane excitability, KATP channel is one of the effectors for myocardial protection in response to various physiological and pathological stresses. Prolonged endurance training can increase the expression of skeletal muscle and myocardial KATP, which may be an adaptive performance of the myocardium and skeletal muscle in response to exercise stress. KATP may participate in regulation of coronary blood flow. Myocardial KATP plays an important protective role for aleviating myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury induced by exercise. When skeletal muscle fatigue occurs, the activation of KATP is helpful to prevent muscle fiber damage and cel death due to excessive consumption of ATP, in favor for the fast recovery from fatigue. The relation between KATP and exercise ability stil needs further research.
7.Recent research progress between the microvesicle and diabetic retinopathy
Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2017;33(3):321-324
Microvesicles (MVs) is small membrane vesicles released from different cell types under different conditions.Studies have shown that MVs may mediate vascular inflammation, angiogenesis, and other pathological processes.MVs may play an important role in the pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy (DR) by mediating endothelial cell injury, thrombosis and neovascularization. The plasma MV level may be an effective parameter to monitor the development of DR.This article will summarize the research progress of the relationship between MVs and DR in recent years.

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2017;25(7):550-554
Purpose To study the diagnostic value of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI),diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and the combination of these two techniques in benign and malignant nodules of central prostate gland.Materials and Methods Forty-nine patients with nodular abnormal signal in central prostate gland who had accepted prostate MRI scan in Shihezi University Medical College First Affiliated Hospital from September 2015 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed, and all the subjects had accepted MRI T2WI,DTI and DCE scan. The pathological results confirmed that there were 21 prostate cancer (PCa) and 36 benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) among 57 central gland nodule samples. The fractional anisotropy value, apparent diffusion coefficient value, time to peak,SImax, the curve slope and timesignal intensity curve of nodules were respectively detected, the differences of the parameters between PCa group and BPH group were compared, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was carried out. Results The difference of fractional anisotropy value, apparent diffusion coefficient value, time to peak and R between PCa group and BPH group was statistically significant (P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in SImax (P>0.05);the time-signal intensity curve type of PCa group was mainly in the form of fast-increasing and then decreasing, while the curve type of BPH group was mainly in the form of platform. The area under the ROC curve of DCE,DTI and the combination of DEC and DTI were 0.87 (95% CI:0.751-0.942),0.85 (95% CI:0.734-0.933) and 0.94 (95% CI:0.837-0.983),respectively.Conclusion In the cases of diagnosing benign and malignant nodules of central prostate gland, the accuracy of DTI and DCE was lower than that of the combination of these two techniques, and the diagnostic effect of DTI combined with DCE was better.
9.Flow shear stress promotes the endothelialization of small diameter tissue-engineered vessels
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(16):2515-2520
BACKGROUND: Magnitude and action ways of flow shear stress are important for the endothelialization of small diameter tissue-engineered vessels (TEV), and the TEV resistance ability to blood flow even decides the destiny of implantation. There are many studies on how to construct the TEV and improve anticoagulant ability of TEV after host cell implantation, but the effects of different flow shear stresses on the TEV endothelialization is rarely reported, which may be helpful for increasing the success rate of TEV implantation. OBJECTIVE: To compare the effects of flow shear stresses in single level or stepwise increased on the endothelialization of small diameter TEV and to optimize the TEV in the aspects of shear stress magnitude and loading method. METHODS: The number, morphology and adhesion ability of endothelial cells on the inner wall of TEV were observed through silver nitrate and F-actin staining. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Single-level shear stress at 2.5, 3.0 N/m2 for 2 hours removed almost all the endothelial cells seeded on the inner wall of TEV. In contrast, stepwise increased shear stress from 0.5 N/m2 to 3.0 N/m2 at an increase of 0.2 N/m2/2 hours maintained the integrity and oriented along the flow direction, and could induce stress fibers productionin endothelial cells. These results suggest that the stepwise increased flow shear stress can improve the endothelialization of TEV.
10.Investigation on spondylolysis of lumbar vertebral arch in 100 recruits before and after reinforced training
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2006;10(4):164-165
BACKGROUND: The incidence rate of spondylolysis of lumbar vertebral arch in recruits is higher during the training, and it affects the normal training. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the correlation of the incidence rate of spondy lolysis of lumbar vertebral arch with training and the original lesions at waist in recruits. DESIGN: A randomized sampling survey. SETTING: Department of Orthopaedics, the 97 Hospital of Chinese PLA. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 100 male recruits aged 18.7 years averagely en rolled in 2003 were involved in the survey. METHODS: The 100 recruits were followed up for the whole course, the X-ray examination at lumbar vertebrae of right, lateral and two-slope positions were observed before training and after 100-day reinforced training. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The incidence rates of spondylolysis of vertebral arch, and whether there was slippage and other aggravations in those with spondylolysis before were mainly observed. RESULTS: All the 100 recruits entered the analysis of results. ① The in cidence rate of spondylolysis of vertebral arch before and after training: Be fore training, 5 cases had spondylolysis of L5 vertebral arch, and the incidence rate was 5%. At the end of the 100-day training, 8 cases had spondylolysis of lumbar vertebral arch, and the incidence rate increased to 8%. ② The results of X-ray examination before and after training: The Xray examination showed that isthmus narrowing of left and L5 vertebral arch occurred in 2 cases and 1 case respect ively, and spondylolysis of bilateral L5 vertebral arches occurred in 5 cases, including 1 case of degree I slip page before training. At the end of the 100-day training, the degree I slip page and below occurred in 3 of the 5 cases with spondylolysis of bilateral L5 vertebral arches before, another 3 cases with original narrowing of lumbar vertebral arch all had breakage. CONCLUSION: The incidence rate of spondylolysis of vertebral arch is associated with the training intensity. It suggestes that the examination of spinal cord should be reinforced in enrolled recruits, and the items of Xray examination at lumbar vertebrae of right, lateral and two-slope positions should be added.
