Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a space occupying lesion which is composed of myofibroblasts, plasma cells, and lymphocytes. IMT of the maxillary sinus is rare and its etiology is unknown. We present a case of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor occurring in the right maxillary sinus of a 57-year-old woman. Radiologically, this tumor was interpreted as malignant neoplasm. On histologic examination, bundles of spindle cells were admixed with inflammatory cells including mature plasma cells and lymphocytes. On the basis of the immunohistochemical findings and ultrastructural features, we recognized that the intervening spindle cells were myofibroblasts. We discussed etiology and prognostic factors of this tumor.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1993;34(5):457-467
The distribution and morphology of cholecystokinin-8 (CCK 8)-, neuropeptide Y (NPY)-, Substance P (SP)- and vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP)-immunoreactivity were examined in the cat superior colliculus (SC) by means of immunohistochemistry. Judging from this study, some neuropeptides-IR neurons may be present in the superficial layers of the sc. And these neurons and neuropeptides may be involved in the functions of the superficial layers.

The ankle joint is a modified complex hinge joint which plays an important role in weight bearing, walking and standing. Injuries about the ankle joint cause destruction of not only bony architecture but often also the ligamentous and soft tissue component. So the goal of the treatment of ankle fracture is restoring normal relations of ankle mortise and regaining a smooth articular surface. The author have reviewed 84 cases of ankle fractures which were treated through the admission in the Orthopedic Department, In Je Medical College Pusan Paik Hospital from June 1979 to August 1986. The average duration of the follow-up was one year. The results obtained from this study were as follows : 1. The most common type was Danis-Weber type C. Nexts were B and A in order. According to the classification of Lauge-Hansen, the most common type was Pronation-external rotstion(39.2%). 2. In Danis-Weber type B and C, satisfactory result was obtained by operative treatment. 3. Danis-Weber's classification was very practical criteria for treatment of the ankle fracture.

6.Differential Diagnosis of Dysphonia Looks Normal Larynx.
Journal of the Korean Society of Laryngology Phoniatrics and Logopedics 2016;27(2):91-94
Voice is a physical phenomenon, generated by vocal fold and expiratory airflow. Dysphonia should come from abnormal vocal fold and airflow. Occassionally larynx looks normal in show, but it is actually not. There should be undetected structural or functional abnormalities. So when ENT doctors face dysphonia patients who looks normal larynx, should make a diagnosis through close observation. In this review article we present some dysphonia diseases which looks normal larynx. For example vocal fatigue, vocal fold paresis, posterior glottic diastasis, muscle tension dysphonia and psychogenic dysphonia.

7.A Case of Myxofibrosarcoma in the Cheek.
Korean Journal of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery 2018;61(6):317-320
Myxofibrosarcoma is the most common soft tissue sarcoma that occurs in late adult life, mainly occurring in the lower extremities and trunk. However, head and neck myxofibrosarcoma is extremely rare. The most reliable treatment of adult soft tissue sarcoma is surgical resection with negative margin. A 79-year-old man presented with a left cheek mass first detected six months ago. The pathologic report of the mass showed that it was myxofibrosarcoma and consequently postoperative radiotherapy was done. However, distant and locoregional metastasis occurred postoperatively. We report this case with a brief review of literature.

When fabricating definitive implant-supported fixed prostheses in upper and lower completely edentulous patients, it is crucial to get information about the vertical dimension, jaw relationship, implants, abutments and gingival contour. In this case, temporary prostheses were used to take the information. The temporary prosthesis was scanned outside of the mouth so that it increased the efficiency of scanning it. During the scan of the prosthesis, a scan zig which connected both posterior parts of the prosthesis was used to minimize the scan errors. We report this case because we obtained satisfactory functional and esthetic results by using the digital technology.
