3.Pharmacometric models simulation using NONMEM, Berkeley Madonna and R.
Translational and Clinical Pharmacology 2017;25(3):125-133
In this tutorial, we introduce a differential equation simulation model for use in pharmacometrics involving NONMEM, Berkeley Madonna, and R. We report components of the simulation code and similarities/differences between software, rather than how to use each software. Depending on the purpose of the simulation, an appropriate tool can be selected for effective communication.

A method to get a size of the radiation isocenter of linear accelerators using star-shot images was presented and a computer program was developed to automate the method. Accuracy of the method was verified. The developed program was used to measure sizes of the radiation isocenters for a Clinac 21EX (Varian, USA) using data of quality assurance (QA) performed from June 2008 to December 2010. To calculated the size of radiation isocenter, positions of two points on each central ray of the star-shot image were found and the equation of the central ray was determined using the positions of two points. Using the equations of central rays the radius of the minimum circle intersecting all the central rays, which is one half of the size of radiation isocenter, was calculated. The program measured X-intercepts and y-intercepts of the central rays within errors of 0.084 mm and sizes of radiation isocenters within 0.053 mm. All the errors were less than the spatial resolution of star-shot images 0.085 mm. The radiation isocenter sizes of Clinac 21EX were 0.33+/-0.27 mm, 0.71+/-0.36 mm, 0.50+/-0.16 mm for collimator, gantry and couch respectively. During the measurement period all the measured sizes were less than 2.0 mm and within tolerance. The developed program could calculate the size of radiation isocenters and it would be helpful to routine QA.

6.Development a computer software on rapid classification for controlling sterility of vaccines and substances
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2004;14(2):84-87
Selection of bacteria classification, collection the normal groups in sterility of vaccine and substances of national Institute of Vaccines (IVAC) of Nha Trang - Da Lat during 20 years (from 1983 to 2003). Cultured environment thioglycolate and Sabouraud. Gram's stain method and recognized and biochemical test were applied routinely by WHO. A computer software based on bacteria classification and SQL language in MS Access were developed by IVAC. This program was used for controlling sterility of vaccine and substances to follow GMP requirement in the future

Journal of Southern Medical University 2015;35(11):1597-1601
OBJECTIVETo realize propensity score matching in PS Matching module of SPSS and interpret the analysis results.
METHODSThe R software and plug-in that could link with the corresponding versions of SPSS and propensity score matching package were installed. A PS matching module was added in the SPSS interface, and its use was demonstrated with test data.
RESULTSScore estimation and nearest neighbor matching was achieved with the PS matching module, and the results of qualitative and quantitative statistical description and evaluation were presented in the form of a graph matching.
CONCLUSIONPropensity score matching can be accomplished conveniently using SPSS software.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2009;29(4):791-793
OBJECTIVETo accomplish the computation of Fisher exact probability test for fourfold table data in Excel.
METHODThe computing program of exact probability method for medical data in fourfold table design was edited by employing the IF statement and the relevant functions, such as SUM, FACT, DSUM, etc in Excel. The computational results are compared and evaluated according to the case studies.
RESULTSThe output of Fisher Exact Probability was generated and presented correctly following the input of four numerical values into the computation program in the setting of Excel. The parametric outcomes are in agreement with those produced by SAS and SPSS, in the combination tables containing the P value, two-tailed cumulative P value, left-tailed P-value, right-tailed P-value, Chi2 values and P values both for direct Chi-squared test and corrected Chi-squared test.
CONCLUSIONSDirect Chi-squared test, corrected Chi-squared test combined with Fisher Exact Probability test for fourfold table data can be conveniently, rapidly, and accurately accomplished in Excel.

9.Design of Information System for Whole Life Cycle Management of Medical Equipment.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2023;47(4):454-458
OBJECTIVE:
In order to record the whole life process information of medical equipment and improve the management efficiency, this study proposes an informatization scheme for the whole life cycle management of medical equipment.
METHODS:
Relying on cloud-native, based on the software architecture of front-end and back-end separation, a mode of sub-account and sub-authority management of medical equipment was designed to integrate maintenance work orders, operation reports and other functions, and manage medical equipment data in a structured and platform-based manner.
RESULTS:
Comparing the equipment failure rate, maintenance response time, and average inventory time per device before and after the system operation, the differences are statistically significant (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONS
The system can realize the work collaboration of maintenance engineers, equipment users, and equipment management personnel, and can trace the information of the whole life cycle of the equipment.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2023;39(1):18-26
OBJECTIVES:
To realize the dynamic visualization of forensic odontology based on the bibliometrics methods, and capture the research hotspots and identify the future development trend.
METHODS:
Literature articles published from January 1995 to December 2020 were searched according to specific subject words in the core data set of Web of Science. The visualization analysis of publishing country, institution, discipline, author, co-cited journal and keywords was performed by CiteSpace 5.7.R5W software.
RESULTS:
The annual analysis of publications showed an upward trend of forensic odontology research literature year by year, with the number of annual publications more than 110 in the last five years. Developed countries were the main source of contributions and the average centrality was greater than 0.2. The research of forensic odontology involved multiple disciplines, including stomatology, biology, computer science and medical imaging, with a distinct interdisciplinary feature. A total of 115 nodes were obtained by keyword cluster analysis. The principal line of forensic odontology mainly included individual identification and age estimation and the emergence of hotspots was closely related to new technologies. Population-based odontology investigation, improvement of traditional dental age estimation method and dental age estimation based on new technology were popular research in forensic odontology.
CONCLUSIONS
Developing countries urgently need to increase the focus on related research. It may be an important direction for the development of forensic odontology to establish and enrich the regional dental database, develop new odontology identification technology combined with frontier and high-end technology, and develop the identification program based on advanced information technology.
