Leiomyosarcoma of the penis is an extremely rare disease. We experienced a patient with a leiomyosarcoma on the ventral preputial skin of penis in a 45-year old man. The patient was treated with local wide excision with chemotherapy. Herein, we report this case with the review of literature.

Neutrophilic eccrine hidradenitis (NEH) is a rare neutrophilic dermatosis which is characterized by the erythematous papules or plaques with a neutrophilic infiltrates around eccrine glands and coils. In 90% of cases, NEH develops in patients who have received chemotherapy for malignant diseases, but other drugs, infections, and paraneoplastic phenomenons are considered as possible etiologic factors. Furthermore, NEH is known to be extremely rare in infants. Herein we report a case of NEH in nine-month-old infant with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), which lesions appeared on the extremities including palms and soles before starting chemotherapy.

Radiation recall phenomenon is an inflammatory reaction which occurs at a previously irradiated area after the administration of causative agents, especially anticancer drugs. Radiation recall mostly involves skin and rarely affects internal organs. We, hereby, report a rare case of radiation recall myositis. A 51-years-old man visited the hospital due to pain and weakness of the left thigh. He had been diagnosed with a skin metastasis of pancreatic adenocarcinoma, at the left thigh and treated with radiotherapy and subsequent combination chemotherapy of 5-FU and cisplatin. After the 5th cycle of chemotherapy, the patient developed pain and weakness localized at the previous radiation field. An MRI revealed myositis of left gluteus medius muscle. Muscle biopsy showed no malignant cells or signs of infection. He was diagnosed as having radiation recall myositis and treated with steroid and NSAID. Soon after, pain and weakness gradually improved. Although rare, a possibility of radiation recall myositis should be considered when a patient with history of radiotherapy has a myopathy.

We report here a case of angioimmunoblastic lyinphadenopathy with dysprote inemia(AILD) in a 65-year-old male associated with skin nodules on the face. Physical examina.tion showed generalized lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, erythematous maculopapular eruptions on the trunk and extremities, and er the matous nodules on the face. Lahoratory findings showed hemolytic anernia, arid polyclonal gammopathy. Histopathological findings of lymph node revealed typical features of AILD. I-iistopathological findings of maculopapules revealed lymphohistiocytic infiltra tion and extravasated erythrocytes around the blocked vessels, whereas histological picture of nodules on the face mirrorred that of the lymph node. After taking systemic chemotherapy, his general condition and skin lesions were improved.

Atopic dermatitis(AD),a chronic and relapsing skin disease,is characterized by dry skin and pruritus,severely affecting the quality of patients' life.Accurately grasping the diagnostic criteria and severity assessment is essential and helps to avoid misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.Moreover,it facilities the development and adjustment of the therapeutic schedule according to the therapeutic reaction and disease control conditions.This article reviews the research advances in the diagnostic criteria and severity assessment of AD.

Immune-mediated dermatoses are the skin diseases caused by the breakdown of immune tolerance,including lupus erythematosus and dermatomyositis.The imbalance between regulatory T cells (Tregs) and effector T cells (Teffs) plays a key role in the pathogenesis of these diseases.Low-dose interleukin-2 can preferentially activate Tregs and reverse the imbalance between Tregs and Teffs to recover the immune tolerance,which has attracted attention in the treatment of immune-mediated dermatoses.This review summarizes the research progress in the immunomodulatory mechanism and clinical application of low-dose interleukin-2 in immune-mediated dermatoses,providing a new idea for the clinical treatment of these diseases.

Currently, the gut-organ axis has become a hot research topic. As increasing attention has been paid to the role of gut microbiota in the health of organs, the complex and integrated dialogue mechanism between the gastrointestinal tract and the associated microbiota has been demonstrated in more and more studies. Skin as the largest organ in the human body serves as the primary barrier protecting the human body from damage. The proposal of the gut-skin axis has established a bidirectional link between the gut and the skin. The disturbance of gut microbiota can lead to the occurrence of skin diseases, the mechanism of which is complex and may involve multiple pathways in immunity, metabolism, and internal secretion. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), the connection between the intestine and the skin can be established through the lung, and the interior disorders will definitely cause symptoms on the exterior. This paper reviews the research progress in the gut-skin axis and its correlation with TCM theory and provides ideas and a basis for cli-nical treatment and drug development of skin and intestinal diseases.
