Objective To study the influence of sole massage on children’s analepsia from general anesthesia. Methods One hundred children in analepsia period were divided into the test group(50 cases)and the control group(50 cases). The routine nursing and monitoring during recovery stage were done in the control group.Based on the routine monitoring and nursing care as in the control group, the test group received sole massage for 10 minutes. The two groups were compared in terms of declining percentage of SpO2, rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and post-analepsia dysphoria scores.Result The test group was significantly lower than the control one in all the indexes of the declining percentage of SpO2,rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and post-analepsia dysphoria scores(all P<0.05).Conclusions Sole massage during children’s analepsia from general anesthesia is effective not only in lessening their declining percentage of SpO2,rate of nausea, blood pressure,heart-rate variability, and recovery dysphoria mark, but also easing their dysphoria, anxiety and fear.It may create a good condition for children to live through analepsia period successfully and safely.

Objective:To analyze the predictive value of age-adjusted Charlson comorbidity index (ACCI) on the risk of falls in elderly patients with femoral neck fractures. Methods:This study was a retrospective cohort study. From June 2021 to June 2022, cluster sampling was used to select 1 050 patients with femoral neck fractures at the Honghui Hospital affiliated with Xi'an Jiaotong University as the study subject. This study calculated the total ACCI score based on patient comorbidities, and divided patients into a low-risk fall group ( n=282) and a high-risk fall group ( n=768) based on whether the fall risk factor assessment score was ≥4.This study compared the differences in age, gender, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grading, ACCI score, white blood cell count, red blood cell count, platelet count, lymphocyte count, serum albumin, hemoglobin, creatinine, and urea nitrogen between the two groups. Independent variables with P<0.05 were included in binary Logistic regression to analyze the factors affecting the risk of falls in patients, and a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was plotted. Results:There were statistically significant differences in age, ASA grading, red blood cell count, lymphocyte count, ACCI score, serum albumin, hemoglobin, creatinine, and urea nitrogen between the two groups of patients ( P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis found that age, ASA score, and ACCI score were independent risk factors for fall risk ( P<0.05), while serum albumin was an independent protective factor for fall risk ( P<0.05). The area under the ROC curve of ACCI for predicting fall risk was 0.892, and a score of 4 in ACCI was the cutoff value for predicting fall risk. Conclusions:ACCI can serve as an auxiliary tool for evaluating and predicting the risk of falls in elderly patients with femoral neck fractures, and can provide reference for clinical screening of high-risk individuals for falls.

This paper summarized professor JIA Hongxiao's experience in treating cognitive impairments in schizophrenia patients upon five spirits stored in corresponding viscera theory. By elucidating the cognitive psychological connotation of the five spirits stored in corresponding viscera theory, it is proposed that the cognitive impairment of schizophrenia should be differentiated and treated based on the symptom characteristics of different cognitive domain impairments in schizophrenia. The key pathogenesis of impairments to cognitive domains such as information processing speed, executive control ability and will is kidney deficiency, liver hyperactivity, and heart spirit restlessness, for which the treatment is to boost the kidney and calm the liver, nourish the heart and calm the mind, using Shizhen Anshen Formula (石珍安神方) modifications. The main pathogenesis of memory and attention cognitive impairment is spleen-kidney depletion and lung corporeal soul failing to descend, for which it is suggested to fortify the spleen and supplement kidney, boost lung and direct qi downward using Jianpi Bushen Formula (健脾补肾方) modifications.

Objective To establish an analysis method for quantitatively determining phenolic character-istic components and correlation analyzing their quality representation of specific chromatograms in Shaji (Seabuckthorn Fruit,Hippophae rhamnoides),and to review the quality of Shaji effectively and accurate-ly by applying association analysis-reviewing mode. Methods HPLC-PDA method was used to quantita-tively determine the content of phenolic characteristic components in 11 batches of Shaji(protocatechuic acid, ellagic acid, narcissin, quercetin, isorhamnetin),and to establish phenolic specific chromatograms of Shaji. The quality of 11 batches of Shaji was characterized based on teasing characteristic peaks and chemical types. The quantity of 11 batches of Shaji was characterized based on quantity and peak areas of protocatechuic acid, ellagic acid, narcissin, quercetin, isorhamnetin, phenolic acids(represented by protocatechuic acid)and flavonoids(represented by narcissin)in the specific chromatograms. The characterized results of quality and quantity of 11 batches of Shaji were given association analysis based on baseline material of Shaji. Results The characteristic components of protocatechuic acid, ellagic acid, narcissin, quercetin, isorhamnetin all had good linear correlation, and the results of methodological investigation were in accordance with the quantitative determination requirements.Taken batch 7 of Shaji as baseline material, there were totally 18 characteristic peaks in phenolic specific chromatograms of Shaji, including 3 peaks of phenolic acids and 15 peaks of flavonoids, and all 18 characteristic peaks appeared in the chromatograms of 11 batches of Shaji. The quantity of characteristic components were higher in batch 8, 7, 10, 4, 5, 11 and 1 after analyzed and reviewed by using association analysis-reviewing mode. The relevance of batch 6, 2, 3, 1 and 11 was the highest with baseline material of Shaji.Comprehensive reviewing showed that the excellent extents of batch 1,11,8,6 and 7 were prior. Conclusion The quantitative determination method of phenolic characteristic components in Shaji estab-lished in this study is easy and accurate. The association analysis-reviewing mode for quality characteriza-tion of phenolic specific chromatograms can be used for analyzing the quality and application validity of Shaji and reviewing quality of Shaji effectively and accurately.

We report a case of chromoblastomycosis caused by , which was successfully treated by long-pulsed 1064 nm Nd: YAG laser combined with terbinafine. A 60-year-old man was admitted for the presence of a 30 mm×40 mm erythematous plaque on the dorsum of his right hand for about 10 months without any subjective symptoms. Both microscopic examination and tissue biopsy of the lesion showed characteristic sclerotic bodies of chromoblastomycosis. Lesion tissue culture on SDA at 26 ℃ for 2 weeks resulted in a black colony, and slide culture identified the isolate as Fonsecaea species. ITS sequence analysis of the isolate showed a 99% homology with strain KX078407. The susceptibility of the isolate to 9 antifungal agents was determined using the microdilution method according to the guidelines of CLSI M38-A2 protocol, and terbinafine showed the lowest MIC (0.125 μg/ml). We subsequently established a Wistar rat model of chromoblastomycosis using the clinical isolate and treated the rats with long-pulsed 1064 nm Nd: YAG laser (pulse width of 3.0 ms, fluence of 24 J/cm, spot size of 3 mm, frequency of 4 Hz, repeated 3 times at an interval of 30 s) twice a week for a total of 8 sessions. Although the laser treatment alone was not able to eliminate the fungi, histopathological examination showed the aggregation of numerous lymphocytes in the local affected tissue, indicating an immune response that consequently facilitate the regression of the lesion. The patient was successfully treated by long-pulsed 1064 nm Nd: YAG laser once a week combined with terbinafine (0.25 /bid) for 8 weeks, and follow-up for 20 months did not reveal any signs of recurrence.
