1.Characteristics of MSCT and MRI in the diagnosis of hepatobiliary cystadenocarcinoma

Objective To study the characteristic findings of computer tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in hepatobiliary cystadenocarcinoma.Methods CT,MRI and clinical data were analysed retrospectively.Plain,dynamic CT and MRI were performed in all patients.Results There were 8 patients,7 female,1 male,aged 48-74 years,with a median age of 58.Five lesions were in the left liver,and 3 lesions were in the right liver.One lesion was multilocular cysts with septations.Seven lesions were solitary.The lesions showed low or mixed density on plain CT.Two cysts showed evidence of hemorrhage,while 3 cysts showed fluid levels.There were different signal intensities in the cystic wall nodules which could appear as slightly low intensity on T1WI or slightly high intensities on T2WI.The cyst wall and septations appeared as slightly low intensity on T1WI and T2WI.The cystic fluid signal intensity changed with liquid ingredients.The nodularities showed obviously high signal intensity on DWI,and the fluid showed slightly high signal,while the cystic wall and separations showed slightly low signal intensity.On CT and MRI dynamic enhancement scanning,the nodularities showed obvious enhancement on the arterial phase,while the cystic wall and separations showed no enhancement.The nodularities showed persistent enhancement on the portal venous and delayed phases while the cystic wall and separation showed slight enhancement.Conclusions Hepatobiliary cystadenocarcinoma showed characteristic features on MSCT and MRI.MSCT combined with MR is an important method in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of hepatobiliary cystadenocarcinoma.
2.Expression of TM4SF1 and its effect on proliferation, migration and invasion in pancreatic cancer cells

Objective To determine the expression of TM4SF1 mRNA in 5 human pancreatic cancer cell lines,and investigate its effect on the proliferation,migration and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells.Methods The expression of TM4SF1 mRNA in MPanc96,MiaPaCa-2,PANC1,AsPC-1,HPAC cells was determined by qRT-PCR,and the results were compared with that of human pancreatic ductal epithelial (HPDE) cells.RNA interference method was used to transiently transfect siRNA targeting at TM4SF1 and negative control siRNA into MPanc96,MiaPaCa-2 cells.The proliferation of cells were measured by MTS method,and migration and invasion of cells were determined by Transwell.Results The expression levels of TM4SF1 mRNA in pancreatic cancer cell lines MPanc96,MiaPaCa-2,PANC1,AsPC-1 and HPAC were 1.205 ± 0.073,1.096 ± 0.260,1.382 ± 0.075,1.374 ± 0.363 and 0.744 ± 0.096,which were significantly highly than that in HPDE (0.020 ± 0.003,P < 0.01).Compared with cells transfected with negative control siRNA,the proliferation of MPanc96 and MiaPaCa-2 cells transfected with siRNA targeting at TM4SF1 was not significantly changed,but the migration abilitiy was decreased by (62.5 ± 7.6) % and (72.8 ± 4.0) %,and invasion abilitiy was decreased by (69.5 ± 5.7) % and (78.6 ± 6.3) %.Conclusions TM4SF1 is highly expressed in pancreatic cancer cells and appears to promote the migration and invasion abilities of the cancer cells.
3.Cox regression analysis of recurrence and metastasis factors of colon cancer radical resection in elderly patients

Objective To analyze the clinicopathologic data and operative parameters of 209 elderly co-lon cancer patients treated by radical resection between January 2002 and December 2011 ,and to investigate the factors related to recurrence and metastasis after colon cancer radical resection in elderly patients .Methods We used univariate and multivariate analysis of Cox regression ,including 14 variables:age,gender,disease duration, hospitalization duration,surgeon experience,operation duration,laparoscopicsurgery,tumor location,tumor size, gross morphology ,differentiate degree ,depth of bowel wall invasion ,lymph node involvement and obstruction .The survival curve was obtained by Kaplan -Meier method.Results Univariate analysis showed that tumor size (RR=2.658,P<0.0001),gross morphology(Infiltrating type,RR=3.407,P=0.0054),degree of differentiation (RR=0.32,P<0.0001) were associated with tumor relapse and metastasis .Multivariate analysis showed that gender(RR=0.585,P=0.0359),tumor size(RR=2.364,P<0.0001),degree of differentiation (Infiltrating type,RR=0.246,P=0.0437),gross morphology(RR=0.31,P<0.0001)were the significant factors.Conclu-sion Gender,tumor size,degree of differentiation,gross morphology were the independent factors of recurrence and metastasis of colon cancer after radical resection in elderly patients .Targeted follow -up for high -risk groups will improve patients′life quality and prolong their survival time .
4.Fabrication and Application of a Molecularly Imprinted Sensor for Morin Detection

Based on the intermolecular interaction, a molecularly imprinted polymer electrochemical sensor with specific identification of cavity on gold electrode surface was proposed with o-aminophenol as functional monomers and morin as template molecule. The performance and effect of MIP were investigated by cyclic voltammetry ( CV) and differential pulse voltammetry ( DPV) . Factors affecting the properties of sensor, such as polymeric membrane ratio, scanning cycles, elution time and adsorption time were investigated. Substances which had a similar structure to morin was used to compared the selective response. The result showed that the sensor had a good selectivity to morin. Under the optimized experiment conditions, the current response of the imprinted sensor was linear to the concentration of morin in the range of 0 . 05-1 . 7 μmol/L with linear equation as follows: I(μA)= 1. 0800lgc(mol/L)+ 9. 3599(R=0. 9934), and the detection limit of 0. 1 μmol/L. The sensor was used to determine the content of morin in black tea samples, and the recoveries of standard addition were between 104 . 0% and 108 . 0%.
5.Correlation of inositol level and glycolipid metabolism in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus

Objective:To investigate the correlation between inositol level and glycolipid metabolism in gravidas with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted on 80 GDM cases undergoing routine examination at Fujian Provincial Maternity and Children's Hospital from November 2018 to August 2019, who were selected as GDM groups. Another 50 women with uncomplicated pregnancies during the same period were selected as the control group. Blood and urine inositol level and serum glycolipid profiles were compared between the two groups, and their association was analyzed. Independent or paired-sample t test, Mann-Whitney test, Chi-square (or Fisher's exact) test, and Pearson correlation test were performed for statistical analysis. Results:The serum inositol concentration and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the GDM group were significantly lower [322.1 ng/ml (279.1-364.1 ng/ml) vs 403.8 ng/ml (391.8-425.3 ng/ml), Z=-7.879; 1.8 mmol/L (1.5-2.0 mmol/L) vs 2.0 mmol/L (1.7-2.2 mmol/L), Z=-2.419; both P<0.05], while the concentration of urine inositol, lipoprotein-a (lipo-a), 0 h-, 1 h-, 2 h-oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) glucose, fasting insulin, and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) were significantly higher when comparing to the control group [192.2 ng/ml (171.0-219.9 ng/ml) vs 143.8 ng/ml (121.1-158.6 ng/ml), Z=-6.834; 253.2 mg/L (65.0-349.0 mg/L) vs 148.5 mg/L(46.5-159.3 mg/L), Z=-0.187; 5.0 mmol/L (5.1-5.6 mmol/L) vs 4.4 mmol/L (4.2-4.6 mmol/L), Z=-5.547; 10.0 mmol/L (9.1-11.3 mmol/L) vs 7.8 mmol/L (7.0-8.4 mmol/L), Z=-6.987; 8.6 mmol/L(7.6-9.4 mmol/L) and 6.6 mmol/L (5.7-7.1 mmol/L), Z=-7.100; 18.2 mU/L(10.6-25.9 mU/L) vs 11.0 mU/L (6.3-12.7 mU/L), Z=-4.537; 5.4%(4.5%-5.5%) vs 5.1%(4.9%-5.4%), Z=-3.468; all P<0.05]. (2) Serum inositol concentration was negatively correlated with fasting insulin and 0 h-, 1 h-, 2 h- OGTT glucose level ( r=-0.386, -0.416, -0.350 and -0.407, respectively); urinary inositol concentration was positively correlated with 0 h-, 1 h-, 2 h-OGTT glucose levels ( r=0.402, 0.389 and 0.429, respectively) (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Serum inositol concentration was decreased, and urinary inositol excretion was increased in women with GDM. Measurement of changes in inositol levels during the second trimester may be helpful to assess the metabolic status of pregnant women.
6.Physical activity level and its influence factors among residents in one suburb district of Beijing

Objective:To study the physical activity level and its influence factors among residents in one suburb of Beijing,so as to provide specific interventions for different people in different circum-stances and to provide reference for health relevant policy-making in the future.Methods:In the study, 7 31 9 subjects aged 1 8 years or above were involved.The self-designed questionnaires based on Health Belief Model (HBM)had acceptable validity and reliability.The physical activity levels were calculated to classify sufficient or insufficient amount by a thousand-step equivalent greater than or equal to 6 or 1 0. Multiple variable Logistic regression was used to explore the influence factors of the physical activity among the residents.Results:The residents’median amount of physical activity in the suburb district of Beijing were 9.1 thousand-step equivalent with quartile of (3.8,20.4).The percentages of the thou-sand-step equivalent greater than or equal to 6 or 1 0 were 63.7% and 47.7%,respectively.The median amounts of physical activity from work or household chores,transportation and recreation physical activi-ties were 4.0,1 .0,0.0 and the components of the total amount of physical activity from those were 61 .7%,1 8.3% and 20.1 %,respectively.There were 8.6% residents whose life did notinvolve moder-ate or vigorous intensity activities.By using factor analysis,five factors were extracted from the scale based on the HBM;These factors together contributed to 63.7% of the sum of the squared loadings.The differences of physical activity levels on education level,age,gender,self-efficacy,cues,subjective and objective barriers were statistically significant (P <0.05).Those who were female,with older age,lower education level,higher self-efficacy,fewer cues,fewer subjective and objective barriers preferred to do more physical activities.Conclusion:The physical activity levels among the residents in the suburb dis-trict of Beijing are moderate and high,and most amount of physical activities from work or household chores.Those who are male and whose ages are from 1 8 to 29 years and whose education levels are of university or above should be focused on intervention.Specific interventions should be developed for dif-ferent people in different situations;More attention should be paid to improve the residents’self-efficacy and reduce the subjective and objective barriers of physical activity,and we also should actively advocate people to have more leisure exercise so as to improve the physical activity level among all residents.
7.The effects of"Tongdu Zhiyu"acupuncture on the scores of the Hamilton Depression Scale in patients with post-stroke depression

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of"Tongdu Zhiyu"acupuncture therapy in patients with post-stroke depression(PSD)and its impact on scores of various factors and items of 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD-17).Methods The data of PSD hospitalized pa-tients or treated in outpatient department in the Sixth Department of Brain Disease of the Second Affili-ated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients were treated with"Tongdu Zhiyu"acupuncture therapy,and the changes in total score,item scores,and factor scores of HAMD-17 before and after treatment were compared.Results A total of 122 patients were included in this study.The treatment was effective with no adverse reactions.After treatment,there were no significant differences in the scores of interest and work,gastrointestinal symptoms,sexual symptoms,and weight loss compared with those before treatment(P>0.05).However,there were significant differences in the scores of other items in HAMD-17 compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,except for factor 2(weight factor),the scores of all other factors in HAMD-17 were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion"Tongdu Zhiyu"acupuncture therapy can significantly improve the symptoms of anxiety and somatization,sleep disorder,cognitive impair-ment,and retardation in PSD patients,which is a safe and effective treatment method.

9.In vitro synergistic evaluation of Nisin and NaF on Streptococcus mutans

Objective:To study the effects of the combined application of NaF and Nisin on Streptococcus mutans(S.mutans).Meth-ods:The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)of Nisin and NaF against S.mutans was determined by microdilution method respec-tively.The fractional inhibitory concentration(FIC)was calculated by checkerboard method.The inhibition effect of the combination of NaF and Nisin at(NF)the same MIC concentration on acid production and acid resistance of S.mutans was detected.Crystal violet staining was used to detect the effects of NF in the inhibition of the biofilm formation,and the damage and dispersion of the established biofilms.The changes of the biofilms were observed by CLSM.Results:The MIC of NaF and Nisin was 0.6 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL re-spectively.The FIC was 0.75.The 1/8×MIC NF showed significantly higher inhibition on acid production and biofilm formation than 1/4×MIC NaF or Nisin(P<0.05),but it has no obvious dispersion effect on established biofilms.The 1/2×MIC NF showed stronger in-hibition effect on the acid resistance of S.mutans in the membrane than 1×MIC NaF or Nisin(P<0.05).At the concentration of 2x MIC,any component didn't cause obvious damage on the established biofilm structure.Conclusion:Nisin and NaF have synergistic in-hibitory effects on the proliferation,acid production,acid resistance and biofilm formation of S.mutans.
10.The pathogenic gene research in Chinese nonsyndromic craniosynostosis

Objective:To explore the common pathogenic gene mutation in non-syndromic craniosynostosis in Chinese population.Methods:Patients with non-syndromic craniosynostosis were recruited in Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University from March 2018 to December 2020. A clinical questionnaire was designed to collect the general information of the patients. The gene panel was designed by entering the keywords craniosynostosis and gene panel in PubMed, extracting all relevant literature from January 1995 to May 2017. The gene library was sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq X platform, and bioinformatic analysis and pathogenic analysis were performed.Results:A total of 237 literatures were reviewed in the PubMed and Ovid databases, and the total sample was 3 375 patients, of which 1 822 cases (54%) were detected with corresponding mutations, involving 21 pathogenic genes. Based on the mutation detection rate of not less than 0.4%, 12 genes were selected in the gene panel: FGFR2, TWIST1, FGFR3, EFNB1, FGFR1, SKI, POR, RAB23, TCF12, MSX2, SMAD3 and ERF. A total of 109 patients with non-syndromic craniosynostosis were recruited in this study, including 62 males and 47 females; the average age was 2.1 years old. All participants denied family history. The average age at childbearing of father was 28.3 years old and of mother was 26.7 years old. Fourteen different pathogenic/probable pathogenic mutation loci were found in the gene sequences of 19 patients. The mutation rate was 17.4%(19/109). The 14 mutation varients were distributed in 5 genes (FGFR2, TWIST1, TCF12, EFNB1, and FGFR3). The 14 mutations can be classified into 5 missense mutations, 3 nonsense mutations, 1 splice mutation, 1 frameshift mutation and 4 in-frame deletion mutations, 11 of which have not been reported. These 11 novel mutations were mainly concentrated in two genes, TWIST1 and TCF12. The mutation types included: 3 loss-of-function, 4 frameshift deletions, 3 missense mutations, and 1 frameshift insertion, of which 7 were de novo mutation.Conclusions:TWIST1 and TCF12 are common pathogenic genes in Chinese patients with non-syndromic craniosynostosis.
