1.Manufacture and clinical application of limb functional exercise band after radical operation of mastocarcinoma
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(9):9-12
Objective To search for safe and effective functional exercise after radical operation of mastocarcinoma and fully arouse patients' enthusiasm for functional exercise, alleviate the shoulder joint function and improve the quality of patients life. Methods 216 patients after radical operation of mastocarcinoma were randomized into the observation group (108 cases) and the control group (108 cases). The patients in the control group only self trained. The observation group used limb functional exercise band according to the principle of self training by stage. The initiative of exercise, postoperative complication and functional recovery of injured limbs were observed in the two groups and underwentχ2 test. Results Significant difference was found between the two groups in training activeness, shoulder joint function, daily life activity 2 months after operation, swelling and numbness of affected limb, constrained lift and abduction of affected limb. Conclusions Using limb functional exercise band can fully arouse enthusiasm of functional exercise of patients, prevent contracture of scar, recover upper limb function to the utmost degree, shorten rehabilitation time. Whatsmore, it has a simple structure and is convenient to use, easy to be made and washed. It provides a new approach to limb functional exercise after radical operation of mastocarcinoma and is worthy of wide clinic application.
2.Pathological changes and tissue repair methods of hallux valgus
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(50):9958-9961
The pathological changes of hallux valgus are diversity, including adduct of metatarsus primus, increasing of the intermetatarsal angle between the first and second metatarsal bones, increasing of hallux valgus angle, dislocation of sesamoides, lost of soft tissue balancing. X-ray is the most important method to measure the pathological changes of hallux valgus. The multiformity of hallus valgus pathological changes makes manner of repairing variety. The main methods include operation on soft tissue, osseous surgery, fusion of joint and figuration of joints. The selection of the surgical methods should be individualization according to the idiographic pathological changes of hallux valgus patients.
3.Basic and clinical research in sustained-release drug delivery systems for the treatment of malignant bone tumor
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(45):-
Since local chemotherapy and sustained release chemotherapy have been put forward, a number of sustained-release drug delivery systems have been developed with regard to the releasing effect in vitro and in vivo, as well as the lethal effect on the tumor cells. This study reviews the merit of sustained release chemotherapy and sustained release drug delivery system of malignant bone tumor both in vitro and in vivo.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1995;0(04):-
One patient with congenital epidermolysis bullosa combined with pachyonychia was reported, and followed up for 11 years. The pedigree of the patient was investigated, and the loci of HLA-A, B antigens of 16 members of the pedigree were determined. The results showed that there were 60 members in the pedigree, among them 24 members had different kinds of skin diseases : 4 cases of epidermolysis bullosa combined with pachyonychia, 9 eases of albopapuloid form of epidermolysis hullosa combined with pachyonychia, 2 cases of icthyosis and 9 cases of pachyonychia simplex. The result of HLA-A, B antigens analysis of 16 members of the pedigree showed no evidence of the genes of these patients linked with HLA-A, B antigens.

OBJECTIVETo explore a combined application of tissue expansion, perforator flaps and super-thin flaps in reconstruction of extensive face and neck scars.
METHODSIn the first stage, the position and course of the perforators were confirmed with the multi-detector computed tomography ( MDCT) and color Doppler ultrasound. The expanders were implanted between subdermal vascular plexus and superficial fascia. In the second stage, the expanded super-thin perforator flaps were transferred to resurface the extensive defects and deformities in the face and neck.
RESULTS26 cases with extensive facial and cervical scars were included in this study. Except for one case with necrosis at the distal end, the other 25 flaps survived completely. The maximum flap size was 35 cm x 10 cm with a pedicle of 8 cm x 4 cm. Long-term follow-up showed that this combined application provided thinner flap than the conventional pre-expanded flap, thus avoiding secondary flap debulking and revisions. All the patients got improvement in contours, facial features and emotional expression.
CONCLUSIONSThe combined application of tissue expansion, perforator flaps and super-thin flaps is a practical method which has advantages in feature recontouring and recovery of delicate emotions in reconstruction of extensive face and neck scars.
