One patient with congenital epidermolysis bullosa combined with pachyonychia was reported, and followed up for 11 years. The pedigree of the patient was investigated, and the loci of HLA-A, B antigens of 16 members of the pedigree were determined. The results showed that there were 60 members in the pedigree, among them 24 members had different kinds of skin diseases : 4 cases of epidermolysis bullosa combined with pachyonychia, 9 eases of albopapuloid form of epidermolysis hullosa combined with pachyonychia, 2 cases of icthyosis and 9 cases of pachyonychia simplex. The result of HLA-A, B antigens analysis of 16 members of the pedigree showed no evidence of the genes of these patients linked with HLA-A, B antigens.

BACKGROUND: Navigation systems all can improve the accuracy rate in cervical pedicle screw insertion, but cannot achieve desired outcomes because of some shortcomings, such as poor imaging quality, complicated operation, poor real-time performance, and invasive navigation.OBJECTIVE: To study the accuracy of X-ray fluoroscopy and CT three-dimensional image navigation in cervical pedicle screw insertion.METHODS: Totally 90 patients undergoing cervical pedicle screw insertion from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanyang Medical College were enrolled, and randomly divided into control and experimental groups (n=45 per group). 132 cervical pedicle screws were inserted into the patients in the control group manually under X-ray fluoroscopy, and 128 ones were inserted into the patients in the experimental group assisted with CT three-dimensional image navigation. The operation time and intraoperative blood loss in the two groups were recorded. Postoperative CT three-dimensional reconstruction was performed to compare the placement accuracy between two groups.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The excellent and good rate of placement in the experimental group (95.3%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (88.6%, P < 0.05). (2) The operation time and intraoperative blood loss in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the navigation matching time and radiant quantity in the experimental group were significantly less than those in the control group (P < 0.05). (3) The Japanese Orthopedic Association scores showed no significant difference between two groups before surgery (P > 0.05),and were significantly improved in the experimental group compared with the control group at 3 and 6 months postoperatively (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group (7% versus 16%, P < 0.05). (5) These results suggest that compared with X-ray fluoroscopy, CT three-dimensional image navigation can improve the accuracy of cervical pedicle screw insertion, showing higher safety and precision. However, it needs complicated operation skills, and long operation time results in massive intraoperative blood loss; thereafter, choosing which placement method depends on the patient condition.

[ ABSTRACT] AIM:To determine the role of transcription factor Bach1 in the functions of human microvascular en-dothelial cells ( HMVECs ) .METHODS: Bach1 siRNA was transfected into HMVECs to knock down the expression of Bach1.In vitro endothelial cell tube formation assay in Matrigel culture was used as a surrogate assay for angiogenic poten-tial.Migration of HMVECs was determined by using Transwell chambers.Cell proliferation was measured by CCK-8 assay. Real-time PCR, Western blotting, and ELISA were employed to determine mRNA expression and protein level.Reporter as-say was performed to determine vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF) transcriptional activity.RESULTS:Knockdown of Bach1 expression in HMVECs led to an increase in the tube formation and increased endothelial cell migration ability, whereas it has little effect on cell proliferation.Bach1 silencing increased the mRNA and protein expression of heme oxygen-ase-1 (HO-1), and enhanced VEGF transcriptional activation, and mRNA and protein expression.CONCLUSION:Bach1 silencing increases HO-1 and VEGF expression, thus promoting the cell migration and tube formation of HMVECs, indicating that Bach1 is a repressor for angiogenesis.

Aim To study the cardiotoxicity of celastrol to zebrafish embryo.Method 48 h post-fertilization zebrafish embryos were used as model for analysis of heart toxicity and were treated with various concentrations of celastrol.6,12,24 h after treatment morphological and functional changes of embryos hearts were observed. Results Cardiotoxicity was not found in embryos during 24 h treatment with 1 ?mol?L-1 concentration of celastrol.Toxic symptoms of embryos were caused by 2,3,4 ?mol?L-1 concentrations of celastrol with appearance of heart linearization, heart membrane hemorrhage and hemocytes accumulation in cardiac region. Moreover, heart rate decreased significantly with increase of concentration and prolongation of treatment. The EC50(24 h)of decrease of heart rate was about 1.78 ?mol?L-1.Conclusion Celastrol is cardiotoxic to zebrafish embryo.

Objective:
To analysis the epidemic and spatial characteristics of pesticide poisoning in Quzhou during 2013-2017, and to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of influenza in Quzhou in the future.
Methods:
The incidence data of pesticide poisoning from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2017 in Quzhou collected from China Information System For Disease Control And Prevention. The descriptive analysis conducted by using SPSS18.0 software, and the Sa T Scan 9.2 software was used to complete space-time scan. Finally, ArcMap10.2 software was used to visualize the results.
Results:
There were 1819 cases of pesticide poisoning in Quzhou from 2007 to 2016, among which 298 cases were reported for productive poisoning, the incidence peak was from August to September, the highest number of patients in productive poisoning was in the age group of 46-60 years old and over 61 years old, with 109 patients in each group, and the number of male patients was significantly higher than that of female (χ2=63.857,

In January 2021, an acute chemical poisoning incident occurred at a fluorine polymerization plant. Through the analysis of the occupational health situation of the enterprise, combined with the clinical manifestations of the poisoned patients and the laboratory examination results, it was determined that the incident was an acute poisoning incident caused by the inhalation of organic fluorine mixed gas in the fluorine polymerization plant. Subsequently, it was clarified that the accident was caused by the illegal operation of the employees of the fluorine polymerization plant, which caused the discharge of the organic fluorine mixed gas containing high concentration of octafluoroisobutene, resulting in the poisoning of the on-site construction personnel. In order to avoid the occurrence of similar incidents, enterprises should implement the main responsibility of safety production, regularly organize supervision and inspection, eliminate illegal operations, conduct safety education and training for the staff of the unit and outsourced staff, and improve the emergency rescue ability of sudden poisoning incidents.
