Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(03):-
The results of lysine, phenylalanine, tyrosine, and valine on kinetics of zinc absorption in rat ileurn using a two-compartment in situ perfusion model showed; 1. Phenylalanine can increase the zinc absorption micro-constants K21, K12, and K02, That is to say phenylalanine increases the a-mount of zinc from lumen to mucosa, from mucosa to lumen, and from mu-cosa to blood. Tyrosine and valine can increase the values of K21, so more zinc flows from lumen to mucosa; 2. The results of amino acids on the half times of zinc absorption showed that phenylalanine decreases both the half times of the fast phase and the slow phase, while valine decreases only the half time of the fast phase. Lysine and tyrosine have no effects on the half times of zinc absorption. The results of this study indicate that phenylalanine, tyrosine, and valine increase zinc absorption in the ileum of rat. The enhancing effects of amino acids on zinc absorption are related to the stability constants of zinc-amino acid chelators.

Objective:To explore the effect of argatroban combined with Kallikrein on progressive cerebral infarction. Methods: One hundred and fifty two progressive cerebral infarction patients were randomized into groups observation (n=76) and control (n=76). Observation group were given treatment ofargatroban and Kallikrein, control only Kallikrein. NIHSS scores, Barthel index, Modified Rankin Scales(MRS) were used to evaluate the efficacy in two groups. Results: The difference of the effect was significant in two groups(x2=11.463,P>0.05).In both of the two groups, NIHSS scores were decreased, there was significant difference between the two groups (t=1.501,t=1.844,t=1.341;P<0.05). The Barthel index in argatroban combined Kallikrein group was higher than Kallikrein group, Modified Rankin Scales was lower than Kallikrein group, and there was significant difference between the two groups (t=2.121,t=2.332,t=2.219;P<0.05). The observation group and the control group patients don''t have bleeding gums, subcutaneous bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding and other adverse reactions. Conclusion: Argatroban combined with Kallikrein, improve the neurologic impairment symptoms, clinical effect, improve the life quality of the patients, of a relatively good effect in treatment of progressive cerebral infarction, can improve obviously the cognitive ability and neural function and patients, activities of daily living. Moreover, its security and tolerability are good.
5.Determination of Oleanolic Acid and Ursolic Acid in the Fruits of Ligustrum Iucidum Ait.of Shanxi by HPLC
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective To determine oleanolic acid(OA)and ursolic acid(UA)from Fructus Ligustri Lucidi in diffrernt habitat and various growing stages.Method We picked the fruits of Fructus Ligustri Lucidi in Otober in five cities of Shanxi, and in August,September,October,November and December in Xi'an.Removed impurities and storaged the fruits under room temperature.By HPLC with Waters 600 as its chromatographic system, and Lichrospher C_(18)(4.6mmx250mm,5?m) column was applied with CH_3CN-CH_3OH-H_2O-H_3PO_4-(C_2H_5)_3N(50:30:20:0.02:0.04)as its mobile phase, the flow rate was 1 mL/min.The standard working curve was made to determine the contents of OA and UA at different habitat and different time spot from samples.Result The contents of OA and UA were highest in Ankang city.During prolonging growing stages, the highest contents of OA and UA were October and August, respectively. They both reduced to the lowest point in December. Conclusion The contents of OA and UA changed in different habitat and diffrernt growing stages of Fructus Ligustri Lucidi. It was suggested that we should mainly base on the highest contents to select the harvest time according to our demands.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
Objective To explore the levels of neuron-specific enolase(NSE)in serum and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) of children with convulsion, and its significance to the diagnosis of neuronal damage was evaluated. Methods Sixty patients were enrolled, and they were divided into 4 groups:non-nervous system disease group, peripheral nervous system disease group, brief convulsion group, and prolonged/status convulsion group. The levels of NSE in serum and CSF were detected in 4 groups, and the electroencephalography(EEG) and computed tomography/magnetic resonance imaging(CT/MRI) examinations were taken to observe the changes in patients with convulsion. Results The levels of NSE in serum and CSF of children with convulsion increased significant, especially in the prolonged/status convulsion group.Changes of NSE levels in serum and CSF were similar.Meanwhile, significant changes were found in EEG between the brief convulsion group and prolonged/status convulsion group;but no significantly changes were found in CT/MRI between the 2 groups. Conclusions NSE detection might be valuable to the diagnosis for neuronal damage in early time. The changes of NSE levels are similar to those in EEG,which are more sensitive than the changes in CT/MRI.It is very important to combine the NSE detection in serum or CSF and EEG examination in early time after convulsion for judgement to the neuronal damage and prognosis.
