Objective To design an ECG signal wireless transmission system for the dynamic ECG monitor.Methods The ECG signal wireless transmission system developed was composed of an ECG signal acquisition module,a wireless transceiver module,a wireless communication protocol module and a digital filtering module.The ECG signal acquisition module consisted of a digital interface circuit,an A/D converter microprocessor and an ECG amplification circuit.The wireless transceiver module was made up of a wireless RF unit,a crystal oscillator circuit,an RF circuit,a debug serial port,a register,a power supply module and a reset circuit.The wireless communication protocol module involved in a data link layer and a physical layer,of which the data link layer had two mechanisms of automatic response and frequency modulation.The digital filtering module mainly included a digital filter,a signal input module,a delay unit and a coefficient registers,and the digital filter was designed using the equiripple method and realized signal denoising by converting ECG signals into output sequences.The performance of this system for wireless transmission of ECG signals at different proximity remote transmission distances was validated with the ECG signal wireless transmission methods based on ZigBee networking and general packet radio service(GPRS)and based on wireless networking module used as comparative methods.Results The system developed gained advan-tages over the other two methods in average rate,sucess rate,average time consumption and average frequency for re-transmission of ECG signal wireless transmission.Conclusion The system developed can be used for efficient,stable and clear ECG signal wireless transmission for the dynamic ECG monitor.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2024,45(6):28-32]

To identify the active constituents in vitro and blood-absorbed ingredients in vivo from Yin Chen Hao decoction provides scientific evidence for probing its prevention and treatment mechanism on acute liver injury. An ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography quadrupole-time of flight-mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTOF/MS) method was applied for analysis of Yin Chen Hao decoction and the serum samples of mice with con-A induced acute liver injury after preventive oral administration for 14 days (the use of all laboratory animals in this study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Naval Medical University, 19YF1459400). A total of 90 chemical constituents were identified from Yin Chen Hao decoction, mainly were flavonoids, terpenoids, tannins, quinones. 5 prototype compounds were identified in the serum, including chrysophanol, deoxyrhapontin-8-O-gallate, mussaenosidic acid, herniarin, emodin. The established UPLC-QTOF/MS method could efficiently and sensitively identify the constituents in vitro and blood-absorbed ingredients of Yin Chen Hao decoction, primarily clarify the material basis of its hepatoprotective effect, and provided a scientific basis for the quality marker selection and the pharmacodynamic material basis research on the decoction.

Objective To investigate the number and distribution of un-repaired cleft lip/palate patients in Gansu province. Methods A census was conducted by staff members of the health system and Population and Family Planning Committee (PFPC) in Gansu province. Standardized -Questionnaires were administered to collect demographic, domestic and diagnosis-related information. Results In 2008, the total number of un-repaired cleft lip/palate patients was 4675,with a detection rate of 1.84/10 000 in Gansu province. Rates of detection were higher in males (2.11/10 000), young age group(4.86/10 000), rural areas(2.23/10 000),poor counties(2.19/10 000)than in females(1.43/10 000), medium (0,97/10 000)/old age group(0.68/10 000), township areas (0.62/10 000), or richer counties (1.35/10 000). Among all the cities and prefectures of Gansu,Baiyin city (2.7/10 000) had the highest while Jinchang city (0.7/10 000) had the lowest prevalence rates. Conclusion Un-repaired cleft lip/palate had been a disease burden to Gansu province,especially in the rural area and poorer counties.

Objective To evaluate the value of endorectal ultrasonography (ERUS) in assessment of mesorectal fascia (MRF) invasion in rectal cancer.Methods Data of 44 patients who accepted preoperative ERUS and total mesorectal excision surgery within a week were retrospective analyzed.There were 18 patients who accepted preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy and 26 patients didn't acceped.Taking the pathological diagnosis of circumferential resection margin (CRM) as the gold standard,the diagnostic efficiency of ERUS for the MRF invasion in rectal cancer was evaluated.Results The final pathological T staging was T1 in 2 cases,T2 in 17 cases and T3 in 25 cases.There were 2 cases of CRM positive results,and 42 cases of CRM negative results.With regard to the location of tumor,there were 16 cases located in low,and 28 cases in mid rectum.There were 26 cases located in anterior or antero-lateral wall of rectum,13 cases in posterior or postero-lateral wall,and 5 cases with a circle of rectum.The diagnostic accuracy were 83.33 ％ (15/18) and 92.31％ (24/26) for cases of accepting and not accepting the preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy;80.77％ (21/26) for cases located in anterior or antero-lateral wall,and 100％ (13/13) for cases located in posterior or postero-lateral wall;75.00％ (12/16)and 96.43 ％ (27/28) for low position and mid position tumors.The total diagnostic accuracy was 88.64％ (39/44).Conclusion ERUS can be an effective method in preoperative assessment of the MRF invasion in rectal cancer.

In accordance with the One Health concept,this study was aimed at exploring research trends and major topics in global zoonotic diseases,and providing suggestions for the prevention and control of zoonotic diseases in China.Using biblio-metric analysis,we analyzed 289 411 relevant articles in the SCIE database from 2012 to 2022 in the field of zoonotic diseases.We conducted in-depth analysis of publication trends,research themes,and cutting-edge topics in the field of zoonotic diseases.The number of publications in the field of zoonotic diseases has significantly increased since 2019.The United States had the most publications in this field,and was followed by China,which has shown strong growth.Further analysis of co-occurrence clustering of keywords in 7 115 highly cited articles in zoonotic diseases in the past 11 years revealed three major research themes:animal health,human health,and environmental health,according to the One Health concept.Keyword evolution a-nalysis showed that zoonotic disease articles were broadly related to issues such as"food safety"and"microbial resistance"in earlier years,whereas"COVID-19,""COVID-19 variants,"and"COVID-19 vaccine"have become recent research hotspots.Practicing the One Health concept and promoting interdisciplinary,interdepartmental,and interregional collaboration are crucial for enhancing the prevention and control of zoonotic diseases in China,thereby safeguarding national security,public health,and ecological safety.

Objective To conduct a joint quality control between domestic dual-head variable-angle NET632 SPECT device and imported device to evaluate the application effectiveness.Methods The domestic NET632 SPECT was marked as the trial device,and the imported Philips Brightview XCT was marked as the comparative device.The same quality control methods were applied to the two devices for both pre-trial quality control and in-trial weekly quality control.The Qc data were recorded and analyzed.Results Static images of a thyroid phantom and tomographic images of a complex performance phantom demonstrated nearly the same image quality.The images from both devices were within acceptable range.The noise and cold-region resolution of the trial devices were slightly worse while the hot-region resolution was slightly better than those of the comparative device.In the weekly QC procedures,slightly worse intrinsic spatial resolution and linearity,and better non-uniformity and energy resolution were observed on the trial device.All QC indices of both devices were within acceptable range.Conclusion The domestic dual-head NET632 SPECT has equivalent performances when compared with the imported device and is worthy applying clinically.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the composition of gut microbiota and its correlation with the severity of behavior symptoms in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). METHODS: A total of 30 children with ASD were enrolled as the ASD group, and 20 healthy children matched for age and sex were enrolled as the healthy control group. Related clinical data were analyzed. The V3-V4 hypervariable regions of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene in fecal samples were sequenced. The severity of behavior symptoms in children with ASD was assessed using the autism behavior checklist. The Spearman's correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation between gut microbiota and the severity of behavior symptoms in children with ASD. RESULTS: There was a significant difference in the composition of gut microbiota between the two groups. Compared with the healthy control group, the ASD group had significant reductions in Shannon index and Shannoneven index (P<0.05), as well as a significant reduction in the percentage of Firmicutes and a significant increase in the percentage of Acidobacteria in feces (P<0.05). In the ASD group, the dominant bacteria were Megamonas, Megasphaera, and Barnesiella, while in the healthy control group, the dominant bacteria were Eubacterium_rectale_group, Ezakiella, and Streptococcus. In the children with ASD, the abundance of Megamonas was positively correlated with the scores of health/physical/behavior and language communication (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS The development of ASD and the severity of behavior symptoms are closely associated with the composition of gut microbiota.

Postoperative radiotherapy (PRT) is widely advocated for patients with squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck that are considered to be at high risk of recurrence after surgical resection. The aims of this study were to evaluate the treatment outcomes of PRT for patients with laryngeal carcinoma and to identify the value of several prognostic factors. We reviewed the records of 256 patients treated for laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma between January 1993 and December 2005. Disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method. Log-rank test was employed to identify significant prognostic factors for DFS and OS. The Cox proportional hazards model was applied to identify covariates significantly associated with the aforementioned endpoints. Our results showed the 3-, 5-, and 10-year DFS for all patients were 69.9%, 59.5%, and 34.9%, respectively. The 3-, 5-, and 10-year OS rates were 80.8%, 68.6%, and 38.8%, respectively. Significant prognostic factors for both DFS and OS on univariate analysis were grade, primary site, T stage, N stage, overall stage, lymph node metastasis, overall treatment times of radiation, the interval between surgery and radiotherapy, and radiotherapy equipment. Favorable prognostic factors for both DFS and OS on multivariate analysis were lower overall stage, no cervical lymph node metastasis, and using 60Co as radiotherapy equipment. In conclusion, our data suggest that lower overall stage, no cervical lymph node metastasis, and using 60Co as radiotherapy equipment are favorable prognostic factors for DFS and OS and that reducing the overall treatment times of radiation to 6 weeks or less and the interval between surgery and radiotherapy to less than 3 weeks are simple measures to remarkably improve treatment outcome.

Hydrophobic medicine carbendazim,come into inclusion compounds with β-cyclodextrin(β-CD),2-hydroxypropyl-β-CD (2-Hp-β-CD) and 2,6-dimethyl-β-CD(Me-β-CD),were made by solvent method.By investigating the inclusion behaviors of these three cyclodextrins combined with carbendazim using 1H NMR,2D rotating frame overhause effect spectroscopy (ROESY) and diffusion ordered spectroscopy,the possible ways of combinations and the recognition ratio of this three inclusion compounds,Dβ-CD=2.516×10-10m2/s,D2-Hp-β-CD=1.676×10-10m2/s,DMe-β-CD=2.046×10-10m2/s,were obtained.According to X-ray power diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis,infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron spectroscopy characterization,it was found that the characteristic diffraction peaks changed after carbendazim and cyclodextrin formed into inclusion compounds,and the characteristic diffraction peak of carbendazim at 10.4°,21.2°,25.8°,31.5°(2θ) lost or disappear.The pyrolysis temperature of carbendazim was 197.5℃,and would be higher than 260℃ after it formed inclusion complex.The infrared spectrum also showed that the oscillation peaks of inner cyclodextrin cavum apparently reduced after carbendazim combined,which demonstrated that the position of water molecules inside cyclodextrin cavum were occupied by the carbendazim molecules.With the help of SEM,the appearances of inclusion were different from a single carbendazim molecule,which manifested a new structure appeared.

Objective:The Meta-analysis was used to systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in treating Late onset hyponatremia （late onset hyponatremia，LOH）. Method:Pubmed，Web of Science，China Knowledge Base Database （CNKI），Wanfang Database （WanFang），Weipu Full-text Periodical Database（VIP），Chinese Biomedical Literature Database （CBM）were retrieved to collect randomized controlled trials of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） for treatment of LOH. Two researchers independently screened out the literatures， extracted the data， conducted quality assessment by Cochrance bias risk assessment tool，and made Meta-analysis by RevMan 5.3.5 software. Result:Nine eligible documents were finally included. Meta-analysis results showed that the test group was superior to the control group in improving patient's physical fitness/cardiovascular score ［mean deviation（MD）=-1.42，95% CI（-2.39，-0.45），P=0.004］ and psycho-psychological score［MD=-0.74，95% CI（-1.26，-0.22），P=0.005］，with no statistically significant difference between test group and control group in sexual function score ［MD=-0.68，95% CI（-1.38，-0.03），P=0.06］，serum testosterone （TT） concentration［MD=-0.68，95% CI（-1.38，-0.03），P=0.06］ and effective rate ［odds ratio（OR）=1.57，95% CI（0.64，3.88），P=0.33］. Conclusion:TCM is equivalent to western medicine（testosterone undecanoate）in the treatment of late onset hypogonadism， and better than western medicine in improving patients' physical fitness/cardiovascular score and mental and psychological score.
