1.Psychiatric Morbidities Among Post Flood Elderly Victims In Kelantan, Malaysia

The objective of this study was to assess the depression, PostTraumatic
Stress disorder (PTSD) and its associated factors among the elderly
flood victims in Tumpat, Kelantan. Methods: A cross-sectional study was
conducted in February 2015 in three villages in Tumpat, Kelantan. Face to face
interviews were conducted using socio-demographic performa, Malay version
Geriatric Depression Scale 14 (M-GDS 14), Malay version Trauma Screening
Questionnaire (TSQ) and flood-related questionnaires. Results: One hundred
elderly respondents completed the study. The prevalence of depression and
traumatic stress was 15.0% and 17.8%, respectively. The risk factors for
depression are being female (Odds ratio [OR] = 5, 95% Confidence Interval
[CI]: 1.27, 19.99), family history of mental illness (OR = 39.5, 95% CI: 1.41,
1063.08) and elderly with traumatic stress (OR= 5.38, 95% CI: 1.53, 18.9). There
was significant correlation between depression and traumatic stress (r= 0.36,
p<0.001). Conclusion: In the aftermath of a natural disaster, female and those
who have PTSC are more likely to develop depression. It is suggested to expand
this research to a bigger population as well as another flood affected states in

2.Research Progress of the Effects of Monocular Visual Impairment on Binocular Vision

Binocular vision refers to a progress of analysing and integrating the binocular visual signals into a whole and three-dimensional sensory perception by higher nerve centre. In this process, the interac-tion between the two eyes results in the changes of output signal, which is called binocular interaction. Through a series of subjective and objective experiments, it can be concluded that binocular interaction can be divided into three types: facilitation, summation and suppression, and the forms of binocular in-teraction in different visual states are different. In general, the visual signal is processed by binocular in-teraction, so that there are some differences between binocular vision and monocular vision. The extent of the difference can be affected by the damage of monocular vision and then affects the binocular vision. Thus, it is necessary for forensic scientists to further study the effects of the monocular visual impairment on visual function. Based on relevant data, this paper reviews the mechanism of the monocular visual impairment in binocular vision, the research methods and the application prospect in forensic science.
4.Application of Onodera prognostic nutrition index in prognostic evaluation of elderly patients with colorectal cancer.

OBJECTIVETo study the applied valuation of Onodera prognostic nutrition index (Onodera index) in elderly patients with colorectal cancer.
METHODSOnodera indexes of 163 elderly patients with colorectal cancer were calculated and these patients were divided into better-nourished group (Onodera index ≥45) and under-nourished group (Onodera index <45). Correlations of Onodera index with general data, operation type, postoperative complication, recovery of gastrointestinal function, clinicopathological feature and prognosis were analyzed. Cox proportional hazards model was also established to identify the independent prognostic factors for prognosis of elderly patients with colorectal cancer.
RESULTSPatients in better-nourished group had significantly higher radical resection rate [90.9% (70/77) vs. 62.8% (54/86), P<0.01], lower postoperative complication rate [17.1% (12/70) vs. 53.7% (29/54), P<0.01] and earlier postoperative defecation [(3.09±1.14) d vs. (3.43±1.98) d, P<0.05] than those in under-nourished group. Onodera index was found to be related to age, tumor location, tumor size, and operation type (all P<0.05). Better-nourished group had significantly better survival than worse-nourished group (5-year survival rate: 64% vs. 24%, P<0.01). Onodera index was identified as an independent prognostic factor for elderly patients with colorectal cancer (RR=0.888, 95%CI:0.800-0.985, P=0.025).
CONCLUSIONOnodera index is a valuable clinical marker in preoperative estimation as well as prognosis prediction for elderly patients with colorectal cancer.

5.Preliminary study on main impacting factors on brand equity of listed traditional Chinese medicine companies.

The brand equity is valuable intangible assets of traditional Chinese medicine companies, who are excellent representatives of traditional Chinese medicine enterprises and the most promising ones to good international medicine brands. However, there is still no systematic study on how to correctly evaluate the brand equity of listed traditional Chinese medicine companies at present. To make it clear, the main impacting factors on brand equity of listed traditional Chinese medicine companies, both structured open outline pre-research and closed questionnaire research were adopted for the field survey, and some suggestions for how to protect and enhance the brand equity were also presented on the basis of survey and analysis, in the hope of improving the brand management level of listed traditional Chinese medicine companies, and making a beneficial exploration for the development of brand theory of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.

6.Comparison of Measurement Methods of Exophthalmos and Its Forensic Significance

Objective To compare the differences between Hertel exophthalmometry and CT on exophthalmos measurement,and explore its practical application value in forensic medicine.Methods Fifty-six normal individuals without eye injuries or diseases were selected as the control group.The absolute values of exophthalmos were measured in the standardized CT image workstation.The difference of binocular exophthalmos was compared in normal group.Forty-seven cases with unilateral orbital fracture were divided into injured eye group and normal eye group according to the presence of binocular orbital fractures.The differences of the absolute values of eophthalmos from the same eye and the relative values of eophthalmos between two eyes for same person measured by Hertel exophthalmometry and CT were analyzed.Results There was no statistical difference of exophthalmos between the normal eyes measured by CT method.In the normal eye group,the absolute value of exophthalmos measured by CT method was (16.66±5.41) rm,which was (16.16±4.45)mm when measured by the Hertel exophthalmometry method.There was no statistical difference between two groups (P>0.05).In the injured eye group,there was statistical difference between the absolute values of exophthalmos measured by two measurement methods (P<0.05).There was no statistical difference of the relative values of exophthalmos between the injured eyes and the normal eyes by two measurement methods (P>0.05).Conclusion CT method has a good consistency with Hertel exophthalmometry,which can be applied into the practice of medicolegal expertise.
7.Clinical features and curative effect analysis of patients with myeloid neoplasms and RUNX1 mutations.

Objective: To investigate the survival and prognostic factors of allogeneic hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) for patients with myeloid neoplasms and RUNX1 mutations. Methods: From July 2014 to April 2018, the clinical data of forty-two AML/MDS patients with RUNX1 mutations in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical characteristic features and distribution of the mutations frequently observed with RUNX1 mutations were summarized, the prognosis of allo-HSCT for these patients was also analyzed. Results: Among 42 AML/MDS patients with RUNX1 mutations, 27 were male, 15 were female. The median age was 43.5 (16-68) years old. There are 31 patients in allo-HSCT group and 11 patients in chemotherapy group. RUNX1 mutations co-occurred with many other gene mutations, the most frequent mutations were FLT3 (26.2%, 11/42) . Interestingly, FLT3 mutations only occurred in AML patients compared with MDS patients (P=0.014) . ASXL1 (25%, 3/12) mutations were observed as the most frequent co-mutations in MDS patients. One-year overall survival (OS) , disease-free survival (DFS) of allo-HSCT and chemotherapy patients were (70.6±9.0) %, (61.0±9.4) % and (34.4±16.7) %, (22.4±15.3) %, respectively. When OS and DFS between allo-HSCT and chemotherapy patients were compared, significant differences (χ(2)=4.843, 4.320, P<0.05) were showed. In univariate analysis, transplant age >45 years was a negative effect for OS [HR=4.819 (95% CI 1.145-20.283) , P=0.032] and DFS [HR=5.945 (95% CI 1.715-20.604) , P=0.005]. Also, complex chromosome karyotype abnormality was a negative effect for OS [HR=5.572 (95%CI 1.104-28.113) , P=0.038]. Conclusion: Transplant age (>45 years) and complex chromosome karyotype abnormality were negative prognostic factors in allo-HSCT for myeloid neoplasms patients with RUNX1 mutations.

9.Clinical trial of cipofol combined with afentanil in the treatment of patients undergoing bronchoscopy

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of cyclopofol injection and propofol injection combined with afentanil injection in patients undergoing tracheoscopy under laryngeal mask ventilation under general anesthesia.Methods The patients to undergo tracheoscopy were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Induction of anesthesia:treatment group received 20 μg·kg-1 afentanil,0.4 mg·kg-1 ciprofol and 0.2 mg·kg-1 cisatracurium;control group received 20 μg·kg-1afentanil,2 mg·kg-1 propofol and 0.2 mg·kg-1 cisatracurium.Two groups were given laryngeal mask ventilation for general anesthesia.The treatment group received 0.8 mg·kg-1·h-1 cypofol and 0.5-1.0 μg·kg-1·min-1 afentanil to perform the anesthesia maintenance;the control group was received 8 mg·kg-1·h-1propofol and 0.5-1.0 μg·kg-1·min-1 afentanil to perform the anesthesia maintenance.The vital signs,induction and recovery time,dosage of afentanil during anesthesia and safety were compared between the two groups.Results Treatment group were enrolled 70 cases,10 cases dropped out,and 60 cases were finally included in the statistical analysis.Control group were enrolled 70 cases,10 cases dropped out,and ultimately 60 cases were finally included in the statistical analysis.Three minutes after induction of anesthesia(T1),the mean arterial pressure(MAP)of treatment group and control group were(79.32±5.73)and(73.15±6.20)mmHg,the heart rate(HR)were(70.53±8.20)and(65.77±7.75)beat·min-1,respectively.At insert the bronchoscope(T2),MAP of treatment group and control group were(82.52±5.81)and(75.99±6.09)mmHg,HR were(70.27±7.94)and(65.42±7.73)beat·min-1,respectively.The MAP and HR of treatment group at T1 and T2 were significantly higher than those of control group at the same time,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The induction time of treatment group and control group was(76.23±6.51)and(66.93±6.26)s,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The eye opening time during anesthesia recovery of treatment group and control group was(8.42±1.94)and(8.48±2.13)min,the intraoperative dosage of fentanyl was(3 456.67±608.51)and(3 515.00±619.41)μg,respectively,the differences of above indexes in two groups were not statistical significance(all P>0.05).The incidences of injection pain during induction period in treatment group and control group were 3.33%and 30.00%,the incidences of hypotension in treatment group and control group were 18.33%and 40.00%,the incidences of intraoperative bradycardia in treatment group and control group were 3.33%and 13.33%,respectively,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with propofol injection combined with afentanil injection,cipofol injection combined with afentanil injection can better maintain hemodynamic stability during anesthesia induction and maintenance in patients undergoing tracheoscopy under general anesthesia with laryngeal mask ventilation,and has better safety.
10.Study of two contrast agent injection rates and concentrations in liver perfusion examination by 320 slices-dynamic volumes CT

Objective To evaluate the effect of hepatic artery angiography on liver perfusion using two contrast agent with different concentrations and injection rates and analysed the nursing factors. Methods 104 patients underwent liver perfusion examination by 320 slices CT with Omnipaque 350 and Ultravist 370 contrast agent, and then they were respectively divided into two groups based on different injection rates (4, 6ml/s).Hepatic artery CT peak value and vascular reconstruction image quality were evaluated; care factors were summarized. Results There were significant differences in liver perfusion between Omnipaque 350 and Ultravist 370 contrast agent (P <0. 01). The hepatic artery CT peak value with 4 ml/s injection rate was significantly smaller than that with 6ml/s. Conclusions The hepatic artery CT peak value and vascular reconstruction image quality with high injection rate and contrast agent concentration in liver perfusion examination by 320 slices CT arrive 3 class or above. Good nursing measures will improve image quality and success rate of examination.
