Spinal biomechanics, especially the range of spine motion, has close connection with spinal surgery. The change of the range of motion (ROM) is an important indicator of diseases and injuries of spine, and the essential evaluating standards of effect of surgeries and therapies to spine. The analysis of ROM can be dated to the time of the invention of X-ray and even that before it. With the development of science and technology as well as the optimization of various types of calculation methods, diverse measuring methods have emerged, from imaging methods to non-imaging methods, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional, from measuring directly on the X-ray films to calculating automatically by computer. Analysis of ROM has made great progress, but there are some older methods cannot meet the needs of the times and disappear, some classical methods such as X-ray still have vitality. Combining different methods, three dimensions and more vivo spine research are the trend of analysis of ROM. And more and more researchers began to focus on vivo spine research. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of the methods utilized recently are presented through viewing recent literatures, providing reference and help for the movement analysis of spine.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the relation of plasma D-dimer levels and incidence of deep venous thrombosis after spinal surgery.
METHODSThe clinical data of 63 patients underwent spinal surgery from October 2009 to October 2010 were retrospective analyzed. There were 40 males and 23 females with an average age of 48 years old(21 to 76) in operation. Operation levels of 15 cases were in cervical vertebrae, 4 cases were in thoracic vertebrae, and 44 cases were in lumbar vertebrae. Thirty patients with spinal fracture were caused by trauma and 33 patients without trauma, 11 patients combined with nerve injury. The patients were divided into two groups according to plasma D-dimer levels, more than or equal to 500 microg/L was D-dimer positive group and less than 500 microg/L was D-dimer negative group. Venous blood of all patients early morning with empty stomach were testd on admission, and at 2 h, 1 d, 2 d, 3 d, 4 d, 6 d, 8 d, 10 d, 15 d after operation, respectively.
RESULTSThere was no statistically significant differences in sex, operative segments, implants, operative posture, age, bleed volume, body weight, peroperative D-dimer levels between two groups. After operation, plasma D-dimer of 19 patients were more than or equal to 500 microg/L, with persistent or progressive increasing. Two cases occurred deep venous thrombosis in D-dimer positive group, they respectively were found at 3 days and 8 days after operation. Both of them underwent posterior decompression and internal fixation. However,no deep venous thrombosis was found in D-dimer negative group.
CONCLUSIONPostoperative D-dimer assay can effective predict deep venous thrombosis occurrence. D-dimer level more than or equal to 500 microg/L will be considered as a risk factor for deep venous thrombosis after spinal surgery.

Chinese Journal of Medical Ultrasound (Electronic Edition) 2015;(6):467-472
ObjectiveTo assess the diagnostic value of ultrasonography in the diagnosis and pathological classifi cation of appendicitis with pathological results.MethodsThe study included 111 cases who confi rmed by surgery and pathology in the Six Affi liated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from June2012 to December 2013. The image characteristics of ultrasonic images performed before surgery were analyzed retrospectively. The cases were divided into five groups based on the pathology: 6 acute simple appendicitis, 45 acute suppurative appendicitis, 15 acute gangrenous appendicitis, 33 chronic appendicitis, and 12 acute attack of chronic appendicitis. The length, width and wall thickness of the appendicitis measured by preoperative ultrasound between various pathological type were compared with Kruskal-Wallis statistical methord, and also used the same method to compared the one which had statistically signifi cance between the fi ve groups. As in the above case, Fisher Exact Test was used to compare the characters′ of ultrasonography included gradations of the appendix, the tube cavity expansion, stercorolith, the appendiceal abscess, mergering lymph node enlargement and the appendix around effusion, if there was statistically signifi cance, the same methord was used to the further comparison between thefi ve groups.ResultsTotally 90 of 111 cases of were reminded appendicitis by preoperative ultrasound, the diagnostic accuracy rate was 81.08%, including acute suppurative appendicitis 91.11% (41/45), acute gangrenous appendicitis 93.33% (14/15), acute simple appendicitis 83.33% (5/6), chronic appendicitis 60.61% (20/33), chronic appendicitis onset acute 83.33% (10/12). There were no statistical differences of preoperative ultrasound measured between various pathological type of appendicitis in length, while the appendix width measured by preoperative ultrasound of acute gangrenous appendicitis was wider than the acute simple group and chronic group, and there were statistically signifi cance between them (P<0.05), in the aspect of wall thickness, the acute suppurative appendicitis and the acute gangrenous appendicitis groups were thicker than the chronic group, and these differences had statistically signifi cance (P<0.05). The stercorolith, lymph node enlargement and the appendiceal abscess in different types of appendicitis had no statistical difference. There were statistically differences (P<0.05) between the acute suppurative goup, acute gangrenous group and the chronic group respectively, both in gradations of the appendix and the tube cavity expansion. Also there were statistically difference (P<0.05) between the acute gangrenous appendicitis group and the chronic group in the aspect of the appendix around effusion.ConclusionsUltrasound is valuable in the diagnosis of appendicitis, especially for acute gangrenous appendicitis and acute purulent appendicitis. The measurement of appendix with wide diameter, wall thickness by ultrasond preoperatively, and the characteristics of the wall layers, lumen expansion degree and the appendix around effusion are valuable in identifying chronic appendicitis, acute suppurative appendicitis, and acute gangrene appendicitis; The ultrasonic measurement of appendix wide diameter could identify acute gangrenous appendicitis and acute simple appendicitis. Ultrasound had limited value in identifying acute suppurative, acute gangrenous appendicitis, acute simple appendicitis, chronic appendicitis, and chronic appendicitis onset acute.

China Pharmacy 2017;28(18):2463-2467
OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for further promoting the implementation ofseparation of prescribing and dis-pensingpolicy which fit China's national conditions. METHODS:Based on literature review, informant interview, and filed in-vestigation the development ofseparation of prescribing and dispensingwere compared between typical eastern and western coun-tries. Constraints ofseparation of prescribing and dispensingin China were explored, international successful experiences were summarized to inspire appropriate implementation of this policy in China. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:There are four con-straints in the implementation ofseparation of prescribing and dispensingin China. Firstly, the legal foundation is yet established for the professional development of pharmacists. Secondly, the medicine pricing and hospital financing systems are unreasonable. Thirdly, patients'ownership of prescriptions and right of dispensing options are monopolized by hospitals. Fourthly, safety of medi-cines use is yet ensured.Separation of prescribing and dispensingshould follow the rules of social and economic development and should be adjusted to adapt local conditions.Separation of prescribing and dispensingpolicy itself may not help to achieve the objectives of cost containment and rational use of medicines. To achieve the intended objectives, legislation of Pharmacist Law should also be accelerated to clearly define the role of pharmacist and guide the behavior of prescribers with economic levers.
