1.Value of CT Scanning in Diagnosis of Pancreatic Carcinomal and Its Clinical Significance
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the CT manifestation of pancreatic carcinoma proved by patholoical results. Methods The patients were supine. Both plain and three-phase dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scan were performed. 100 ml of Ominipaque was injected at a rate of 2~4ml/s, with 5~10 mm slice thickness and interval. Results CT scanning clearly showed the direct signs or indirect signs of pancreatic carcinomal, which include: pancreatic mass, obstructive dilatation of the bile duct and pancreatic duct, the visualization of the abnormal large peripancreatic vessels, lymph node metastasis, etc. Conclusion Plain CT scanning shows clearly manifestation of pancreatic carcinomal and the surrounding tissue, and three-phase dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scan can clearly display the tiny changes of pancreatic parenchyma. Therefore it is valuable for diagnosis of pancreatic carcinomal.

Objective To explore the effects of gestation and lactation exposure to low dose tributyltin(TBT) on development of offspring of Kunming mice. Methods The healthy adult pregnant Kunming mice were randomly divided into 4 groups,6 in each group, they were given doses of TBT(100,10 and 1 ?g/kg) by gavage from days 6 of gestation(GD6)to the end of lactation. The number of pups and the number of male, female of each dams were determined, and the body weight of pups on PNDs 1,3,5,7,14,21 was weighed. The eye opening from PND12 and the testes descent from PND13 and the vagina opening from PND20 were examined. Results Compared with the control group, the gestational body weight gain of dams decreased in 100 ?g/kg group(P

Orange peel was used as lowcost adsorbent in binding of Methylene Blue. The effects of equilibrium time,pH,dye concentration have been studied.Carboxyl, amine and phosphonate functional groups were present in the orange peel. The equilibrium time was 1 hour, the maximum adsorption capacities of the orange peel was 370.3?31.0 mg/g at pH 10.The Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were well fitted in this biosorption system. Results showed relatively higher rate constant and biosorption capacities. These adsorption performance indicate the orange peel as a potentially economical adsorbent for dye removal.

Objective To explore the effects of perinatal exposure to low dose tributyltin (TBT) on development and estrogen level of female offspring KM mice. Methods The CL healthy adult pregnant KM mice were randomly divided into 4 groups,6 in each group, they were given doses of TBT (100,10 and 1 ?g/kg) by gavage from days 6 of gestation to the end of lactation,1 time each day,at a volume of 1 ml/kg.On postnatal day (PND) 49,10 female offspring mice were randomly selected in each group and killed after weighed and the blood was collected. The uterus and ovary were weighed for account of viscera coefficient. The concentrations of estrogen in serum were measured with radioimmunoassay. Results Compared with the control group the time of eye opening was significantly delayed and the vagina opening was significantly ahead in treatment groups (P0.05).The weight of ovary and its coefficient increased significantly in 10 ?g/kg group (P

OBJECTIVE:
To realize the application of nasal obstruction symptom evaluation (NOSE) and Epworth sleep score (ESS) before and after nasal cavity ventilation expansion techniques.
METHOD:
Forty-two OSAHS patients with nasal obstructive symptoms were diagnosed by clinical symptoms and polysomnography. Nasal cavity ventilation expansion technique was performed. Before and after the surgery, the NOSE and ESS were used to compare the difference. Postoperative data were obtained at least 3 months later.
RESULT:
Compared the data before and after operation, the NOSE and ESS were significantly decreased respectively (P<0. 05), there is no significant difference between 3 groups (P>0. 05).
CONCLUSION
The result suggest that OSAHS patients taking nasal cavity ventilation expansion operations showed improvement in severity of nasal obstructive symptoms and daily sleepy.

9. Evaluation of the Prediction Performance of Population Pharmacokinetic Models of Sodium Valproate in Epileptic Children in China
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2020;55(3):233-238
OBJECTIVE: To compare all published sodium valproate population pharmacokinetic models of epileptic children in China and assess them by external validation to determine their predictive performance. METHODS: The published population pharmacokinetic model of sodium valproate in children with epilepsy in China was collected by database retrieval. By retrospectively collecting patients' information, we performed an external validation to evaluate the power of prediction. RESULTS: Four sodium valproate models were published before. The external validation of 101 samples showed that the MPE, MAE, RMSE of the four model were similar. All of them showed good adequacy between predicted concentrations and observed concentrations. Comparing with other models, the model established by Ding has better prediction error coincidence rate in most interval, which is more targeted for the prediction of individualized dosage regimen for epileptic children in our hospital. However, the overall prediction accuracy of the four models is not significantly different. CONCLUSION: By the evaluation of four published population pharmacokinetic models of sodium valproate model B performs better than others, while the overall accuracy of the four models did not differ much. Racial difference may be an important factor affecting the accuracy of the model, which needs to be further explored in subsequent studies.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2013;31(3):291-299
OBJECTIVETo evaluate the feasibility of identifying oral mucosa pathogenic bacteria by comparing the metabolic profiling of Saccharomyces and try to find a convenient and rapid way to discriminate oral micro-organisms.
METHODSSaccharomyces albicans ATCC 10231 and Saccharomyces tropicalis ATCC 13803 and Saccharomyces glabrata ATCC 15126 were respectively inoculated in sabouraud medium. The growth quantity were measured periodically by a spectrophotometer. And the growth curves of the inoculated bacteria were completed. The culture solutions in stationary phases of the three bacteria were respectively tested with 'H-nuclear magnetic resonance(1H-NMR) spectroscopy. The data of 1H-NMR spectroscopy results were analyzed by principal components analysis (PCA).
RESULTSThe PCA showed respectively a obvious clustering phenomena and the points of every two groups' data stayed separately. Therefore, the NMR-based metabonomics profiles could discriminate the three kinds of mucosa pathogenic bacteria.
CONCLUSIONThe metabonomics can be expected to be a kind of promising useful method in quick discrimination of oral pathogenic bacteria.
