1.New Infants Respiratory Distress Syndrome Treated with Shenfu Decoction and Compound Red Sage Injection in Assistance

[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of Shenfu Decoction and Compound Red Sage Injection on new infants respiratory distress syndrome.[Method] Randomly divide 42 cases into 2 groups,control group(1)take the integrated therapy:CPAP,oxgen,warming,keeping wet and anti-bacterial;the treatment group(1)take the Shenfu Decoction and Compound Red Sage Injection.Compare their cure rates after 7d.[Result] In group 1,survivable rate was 95.23%,cure rate 71.4%;and 80.95% and 47.62% respectively for other group;the clinical symptoms,signs,blood-gas analysis and X-ray result were all better in group 1 than group 2.[Conclusion] Oral taking Shenfu Decoction and Compound Red Sage Injection for vein drip can help relieve infants clinical symptoms and pass alveolus superficial active substance lack period.
2.Resistance and Homology Analysis of Acinetobacter baumannii

OBJECTIVE To investigate the resistance and the homology of the Acinetobacter baumannii(ABA) strains isolated from inpatients to offer basis for clinical treatment and preservation.METHODS VITEK2-compact system was used to identify 110 ABA strains,and detect their susceptibility to antibiotics.REP-PCR was carried out to detect their homology.RESULTS The 110 isolated strains were multidrug resistant.Rate of sensitivity to amikacin was 91.3%,Rates of resistance to ceftazadime,ciprofloxacin and imipenem were 100.00%,97.83% and 91.30%,respectively.REP-PCR was confirmed part of them was from the same clone.CONCLUSIONS Most of the isolated strains are multidrug-resistant.The same clone of MDR-ABA probably leads to transmission among patients.
3.Detection of Extended-spectrum ?-Lactamases and AmpC ?-Lactamases and Analysis of Drug Resistance in Enterobacter cloacae

OBJECTIVE To investigate the genotypes of extended-spectrum ?-lactamases(ESBLs)and drug resistance in Enterobacter cloacae for clinical treatment.METHODS E.cloacae was identified by VITEK-AMS;ESBLs and AmpC ?-lactamases phenotypes were detected by three-dimensional tests.Detection of ?-lactamases resistant genes were performed by PCR.Plasmid conjugation test was used to determine the location and the transmission of encoding genes of ?-lactamases.The antibotic susceptibility of E.cloacae was detected according to the CLSI guideline.RESULTS The incident rate of ESBLs producing E.cloacae was 48.8% in 86 strains.CTX-M was the main type of ESBLs.The detection rate of CTX-M-3,CTX-M-9,CTX-M-14 and SHV-12 genotypes in isolates were 27.9%,16.3%,3.4% and 18.6%,respectively.Strains producing both ESBLs and AmpC ?-lactamases were 11(12.8%).The strains only producing ESBLs or AmpC ?-lactamases were 31(36.0%) and 8(9.3%),respectively.The sensitive rate of ESBLs isolates to imipenem was 100.0%.Eight ESBLs strains were conjugated successfully.CONCLUSIONS CTX-M and SHV-12 are the main genotypes of ESBLs strains.ESBLs genes can be horizontally transferred to recipient by plasmid conjugated test.
4.Detection of Quinolone Resistance Gene in Enterobacter cloacae

OBJECTIVE To investigate the appearance of quinolone resistance gene(qnr)in Enterobacter cloacae for clinical treatment.METHODS E.cloacae was identified by VITEK-AMS;detection of qnr and extended-spectrum ?-lactamases(ESBLs)resistant genes were performed by PCR.Plasmid conjugation test was used to determine the transmission of qnr.The antibotic susceptibility of E.cloacae was detected according to the CLSI guideline.RESULTS The incident rate of E.cloacae with qnr was 23.6% in 55 strains.The sensitive rate to ciprofloxacin was 46.2% in isolates with qnr,but it was 83.3% in isolates without qnr.qnr Genes of 38.2% ESBLs isolates were positive.Two strains harboring qnr genes were conjugated successfully.CONCLUSIONS ESBLs strains usually harbor qnr genes.qnr Genes can be horizontally transferred to recipient by plasmid conjugated test.
5.Pathogens in Urinary System:Their Distribution and Resistance Analysis

OBJECTIVE To study the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens in urinary system,provide the credible evidence with the clinic diagnosis and the treatment of urinary diseases,and give doctors reasonable advice for medicine usage. METHODS The pathogens from the urine specimens were isolated and cultured from the patients in hospital from Jan 2003 to Dec 2004.The total 536 strains of pathogens were identified and the drug resistance was analyzed. RESULTS Escherichia coli among the pathogens infected the urinary system rated the top(57.0%),secondly were Enterococcus,Klebsiella,Staphylococcus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and fungi.The drug resistance of E.coli to imipenem was the lowest,about 2.6%,however,it was above 30.0% towards the most beta-lactam antibiotics;the drug resistance of Enterococcus was generally higher,about 40.0-70.0%,but vancomycin was lower,about 10.3%. CONCLUSIONS The main pathogens are Enterobacteriaceae which infect the urinary system,the drug resistance is obviously higher to the quinolones,the clinic should reasonably choose the antibiotics according to the test results of the pathogens sensitivity to drugs.
6.Effects of Fuzheng Xiaoai decoction joint tamoxifen on serum sex hormone and endometrial thickness with breast cancer

Objective To analyze the effects of Fuzheng Xiaoai decoction joint tamoxifen on serum sex hormone and endometrial thickness with breast cancer.Methods 124 patients with breast cancer were divided into control group and research group by lot drawing method, all as 62 cases, treated with the same surgery, control group was treated with tamoxifen, research group was treated with Fuzheng Xiaoai decoction based on control group, the sex hormones, endometrial thickness, tumor markers, immune function and complications were compared between two groups.Results The prolactin (PRL), progesterone (P), estradiol (E2) of research group were all lower than control group, the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05).The endometrial thickness of research group [(8.61+1.07) mm]was lower than the control group [(9.74+1.21) mm](P<0.05).The tumor markers, immune function of research group were better than that of control group (P<0.05).The complications was no difference between two groups. Conclusion Fuzheng Xiaoai decoction joint tamoxifen can regulation the serum levels of sex hormone, relieve tamoxifen-induced endometrial thickening, can improve tumor markers and immune function .
7.Research on Construction Validity of Examinations for Medical Subjects Using Factor Analysis

We selected scores for histology and embryology,physiology,biochemistry,pathobiology,pharmacology,paediatrics,and medicine of the first-year(2004),second-year(2003),third-year(2002)students at a medical school as subjects to analyze construction validity using factor analysis.The common factors were selected if their cumulative value above 60%.The result showed that variance percentage explained by each factor was lower,and that the three level structure formed by recall,comprehend and application would not be explained ideally by these scores.The author considered that the examination items should be improved and it was limited for factor analysis method to apply to analyze medical examination items.
8.Influence of acupuncture on parturition process

Objective To observe the influence of acupuncture treatment on parturition process.Methods 545 pregnant women delivered in our hospital were selected,excluding those with cesarean section indication.On voluntary principle and randomized principle,primipara aged from 22 to 30 who agreed with natural labor were divided into two groups:observation group and control group.Pregnant women in observation group were received acupuncture treatment during latent phase.The following indexes of the two groups were recorded and compared:labor time of the first stage and the second stage,the case for inertia of uterus,cesarean sections,postpartum hemorrhage amount and Apgar score of new-born.Results The labor time of the first stage and the second stage of the control group were (178.55 ± 56.87) min and (130.70 ± 77.22) min,and which of the observation group were (53.87 ±22.33) min and (33.25 ± 15.55) min,there was significant differenec between the two groups(t =3.97,4.11,all P <0.05).The differences in the pilot failed to cesarean section rate(14.2% and 13.6%),postpartum hemorrhage and the perinatal outcome were not significant between the two groups.Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion can accelerate labor.
9.The relationship of hs-CRP, Hcy and blood pressure variability in elderly patients with essential hypertension

Objective To study the relationship of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP),homocysteine (Hcy) and blood pressure variability in elderly patients with essential hypertension.Methods As the total coefficient of variation of 24-hour systolic blood pressure variability(BPsVC),the patients with essential hypertension were divided into two groups:the high-BPsVC group(n =72 cases) and the low-BPsVC group(n =48 cases).The hs-CRP and Hcy in serum in patients were detected.Results The hs-CRP were (2.52 ± 0.78) mg/L in the high-BPsVC group and (1.59 ± 0.61) mg/L in the low-BPsVC group.There was a significant difference (t =0.2766,P < 0.05).The Hcy were(15.6 ±6.2) μmol/L in the high-BPsVC group and(13.7 ± 5.9) μmol/L in the low-BPsVC group.There was a significant difference(t =0.3742,P < 0.05).Condusion There was a close relationship between hsCRP,Hcy and blood pressure variability in elderly patients with essential hypertension.
10.Analysis of the status of mouse fetal transgenic cells existed in the maternal peripheral blood

Objective To study the status of mouse fetal transgenic cells existed in the maternal blood in peri-natal period and provide the information for gene diagnosis using fetal cells circulated in the maternal blood.Methods Mating the female normal mice with male transgenic mice integrated with GFP reporter gene driven by ?-globin promoter and HS2-HS3 elements of LCR. Around the offspring were born, maternal blood was collected and GFP expression level was determined with FACS analysis. Meanwhile, DNA extracted from the tails of the mothers and their offspring as well as the maternal blood were analyzed by PCR.Results GFP positive fetal cells were not found in maternal blood before offspring were born. 1-3 weeks later, GFP positive fetal cells were detected and this population in maternal peripheral blood reached the peak. 4-5 weeks later, they disappeared gradually. PCR results showed no GFP positive band in the mothers. However, a positive fragment of GFP gene was amplified in maternal blood samples after their offspring were born. This result was in accordance with FACS analysis.Conclusion Transgene cells may be useful markers for the study of status of fetal cells existed in the maternal circulating blood. The results would be beneficial for the gene diagnosis using maternal blood as an alternative resource of fetal cells.
