1.Advances in the application of intraoperative computed tomography to surgeries
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2017;37(6):876-880
With the proposal of the concept of precision surgery, doctors pay more attention to the precious balance of removing target lesions, protecting organs, and controlling damage. The application of intraoperative computed tomography (ICT) facilitates the realization of precision surgery. This paper summarizes the origination and development of ICT,as well as its wide applications in neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and maxillofacial surgery.Although ICT has many disadvantages to be improved, such as high radiation dose and high cost,it is still a good choice for improving the precision of treatment.

To investigate the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) for di-agnosing low choledochal joint and its complications. MRCP results of 29 low choledochal joint patients con-firmed were analyzed retrospectively, and then compared with those by endoscopic retrograde cholaniopancreatography (ERCP). MRCP could display clearly the location of low choledochal joint, and the patients with complications involved 4 ones with cholecystolithiasis, 5 ones with cholangiolithiasis, 15 ones with cholecystolithiasis and cholangiolithi-asis, 3 ones with Mirizz syndrome, 2 ones with pancreatitis, 1 case with carcinoma of head of pancreas after cholecystec-tomy and 1 case of Vater ampullary carcinoma. Interoperative and ERCP findings proved that MRCP could be used for the diagnosis of low choledochal joint and its complications with no missed diagnosis. MRCP can be involved for the diagnosis of low choledochal joint and its complications, and thus can be used for preoperative planning and treat-ment of the complications.

Objective To evaluate the plasma D-dimer level in the patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension and investigate their correlation. Methods Eighty-five subjects were divided into three groups according to clinical manifestation:control group:20 subjects ; type 2 diabetes mellitus group:21 subjects; type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension group:44 subjects. The level of plasma D-dimer was measured and the difference was compared between groups. The results were showed as mean ± sd,and the difference was compared using ANOVA Test ( SPSS13.0).Results The plasma D-dimer concentrations in normal control group was ( 102.15 ± 32.48 ) μg/L,in single type 2 diabetes mellitus was ( 148.62 ± 80.99 ) μg/L,while plasma concentrations in type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension was ( 206.28 ± 92.99 ) μg/L.plasma D-dimer concentration was higher in single type 2 diabetes mellitus than that in normal control cases( P <0.05) ;And plasma D-dimer concentration was also found increased in type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension when compared with control group (P < 0.01 ) ;And there was also significant difference on plasma D-dimer concentration between single type 2 diabetes mellitus and type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension cases ( P < 0.05 ).Conclusion The plasma levels of D-dimer was increased obviously in single type 2 diabetes mellitus and type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension,it may be related to the imbalance of coagulation and fibrinolytic system.Monitoring of plasma D-dimer concentration in type 2 diabetes and patients with hypertension may have important clinical implications for the prevention of thrombotic diseases.

The pathogenesis of diabetic retinopathy (DR) is complex.Antisense non-coding RNA (ANRIL) in the INK4 locus in long-chain non-coding RNA (lncRNA) is closely related to cell proliferation, differentiation, and individual development. It plays an important role in the dysplasia of retinal vascular endothelial cells and is a new field in the study of the pathogenesis of DR.According to the researches at present,ANRIL may plays its role in the occurrence and development of DR through the signal pathway of nuclear factor-κB and ROS/polyadenylation diphosphate ribose polymerase, and interact with p300,miR-200b,and EZH2 to regulating the expression and function of VEGF.Specific blocking ANRIL and its related pathwaysmay become a new target in the treatment of DR.
