A preliminary study was conducted on prevention and treatment of adrenaline induced pulmonary edema in rat with anisodamine. An animal model of rat fatal pulmonary edema close to clinical neurogenic edema was made by intravenous injection of adrenaline. It is a kind of mixed pulmonary edema with both an increase in pulmonary capillary pressure and in permeability of pulmoary microvasculature. Anisodamine showed a pretty good preventive and therapeutic effect.The observation under eletron microscope:(1) In the group of edema: It showed that protein-rich fluid accumulated in the alveolar and interstitial space. The endothelial cells and epithelial cells were swollen and degenerated. Some of the basement membrance was lost and disintegrated.(2) In the group with anisodamine prevention and treatment: It revealed that all of the pathological changes diminished. The epithelium and endothelium were normal, edema disappeared. The interstitial space widen and alveolar septal thicken which was due to the repair of the inflammation resulting in proliferation of connective tissue. The results showed that anisodamine cart inhibit the pulmonary microvascular and alveolar permeability as well.

Electron microscopic changes about the effect of gossypol acetic acid ongastrocnemius muscles of male monkeys,rats and guinea pigs were studied.The resultsare as follows:The ultrastructure of gastrocnemius muscles of adult male Rhesus monkeys afteradministration of gossypol orally with a daily dose of 4mg/kg for 2 years showedapparently normal in appearance,except some nuclear condensation and dissociationof nuclear membrance seen in individual animal.After oral aministration of gossypol in adult male Wistar rats with an antifertilitydosage,i.e 20mg or 30mg/kg/day for 30 days,no obvious difference was seen betweenthe experimented and control groups.Except mild distension of the smooth endoplasmicreticulum and dissociation of nuclear membrane sometimes seen in some of theexperiment animals.Similar results was obtained in the male guinea pigs.After a heavy dose(60mg/kg/day)of gossypol given to rats for 37 days,mostof the myofibrils still keep their normal periodic structures,each fiber is maintainingtheir transversly arranged pattern of dark A-bands and light I-bands alternativelyalong the whole length of the fiber.But some myofibrils had lost their normal striation.The width of the I-band increased and the breaking down or lysis precessesin few or even an individual myofibril had begun.There were no obvious pathologicalchanges seen in the mitochondria.Persistent oral administration of gossypol in ratewith a dosage of(60mg/kg/day)for 55 days,the pathological changes became moreobvious.The mitochondria became disordered in arrangement.Concomitant with thesschanges,the myofibrils appeared dystropic and fragmented.It indicated the presenceof myofibrillar degeneration.If the daily dose are increased to 60mg/kg for 25 days in guinea pigs.Theremight be no significant pathological changes in the myofibrils in them.Nevertheless,some mitochondria were swollen in various extents and the cristae became fragmentedor dissolved,which was known as mitochondrial necrosis.The relationship between hypokalemic paralysis and the present results inducedby toxic effect of gossypol were analysed and discussed.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of sodium nitroprusside on the treatment of pulmonary edema in elderly patients with heart failure. Methods 50 elderly cases with heart failure and pulmonary edema From January 2015 to January 2017 were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the different treatment methods. The control group were received conventional therapy, the observation group were given conventional drug combined with sodium nitroprusside. The experimental data was recorded and compared. To investigate the effect of sodium nitroprusside on the rescue of elderly heart failure and pulmonary edema. Results The clinical effect in the observation group is better than that in the control group. The protein related indexes about heart failure and pulmonary edema were significantly improved (P<0.05). The difference of adverse reaction rate in the two groups has no statistically significat. Conclusion Conventional drug therapy combined with sodium nitroprusside were used on the treatment of elderly patients with heart failure, pulmonary edema, which can improve the clinical symptoms, related serum protein, without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions, it is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To explore the effects of application of self-made pipe protective belt for catheter of thrombolysis on treatment of patients with lower limb ischaemia via femoral artery puncture. Methods From March 2016 to December 2016,116 patients with lower limb ischaemia treated with femoral artery puncture in a tertiary hospital in Hebei Province were recruited using convenience sampling method. We divided all patients into the ex-perimental group (58 cases) and the control group (58 cases) according to random number table method. For the experimental group,we used sterile transparent dressings to fix the catheter of thrombolysis,then applied self-made pipe protective belt to fix it.In the control group,we used traditional sterile transparent dressings to fix the catheter of thrombolysis,then used self-adhesive elastic bandage for external fixation by cross overlapping. Incidence rate of accidental extubation,pressure ulcer related to medical equipment (tee joint) and medical adhesive-related skin in-jury from two groups were observed. Results The incidence rate of accidental extubation in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.01);there were statistically significant differences in the pressure ul-cer related to medical equipment (tee joint)and medical adhesive-related skin injury between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion During catheter-directed thrombolysis for patients with lower limb ischaemia via femoral artery punc-ture,the self-made pipe protective belt can reduce the incidence of accidental extubation,avoid adverse events such as related to medical equipment (tee joint)and medical adhesive-related skin injury effectively,and ensure safety of the patients.

Objective To explore the effects of thrombelastogram (TEG) on preventing deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and hemorrhage after surgery for varicosity of lower extremities. Methods Totally 200 patients with varicosity of lower extremities who received exfoliation of great saphenous veins combined with transilluminated powered phlebectomy (TIPP) in a ClassⅢ Grade A hospital in Hebei Province from March 2016 to May 2017 by convenient sampling, and divided into the observation group (n=101) and the control group (n=99) according to the random number table. Patients in the observation group were evaluated with Caprini's DVT Assessment Model 24 hours before surgery. Patients who scored 3 or above received TEG monitoring 24 hours before surgery and on days 1, 3 and 7 post surgery, and received hierarchical interventions. Patients in the control group received conventional nursing care during the perioperative period, and empirical anticoagulation measures were taken based on the results of blood and coagulation routine examinations. Color Doppler ultrasonography was used to observe the incidence of DVT in both extremities in the patients one week post surgery, and the incidence of hemorrhage were also observed in patients in the two groups, including hemorrhage running out of dressings, incision bleeding and subcutaneous hematoma. Results DVT was found in 1 patient in the observation group (0.99%) and 8 patients in the control group (8.08%); hemorrhage running out of dressings was found in 3 patients in the observation group, incision bleeding in 2 patients and subcutaneous hematoma in 5 patients, while hemorrhage running out of dressings was found in 10 patients in the control group, incision bleeding in 9 patients and subcutaneous hematoma in 13 patients. There were statistical differences between the two groups (P＜0.05). Conclusions TEG dynamic monitoring combined with Caprini's DVT Assessment Model used in hierarchical interventions for patients with varicosity of lower extremities who receive exfoliation of great saphenous veins combined with TIPP reduces the incidence of DVT and hemorrhage, effectively avoids adverse events postoperatively, and ensures the patients' safety.
