5.PFD Test in SLE & DM Cases for Determination of Pancreatic Exocrine Function
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(02):-
Pancreatic function diagnostant test (PFD) is performed with the oral administration of N-benzoyl-L-tryosyl-P-aminobenzoic acid (BT-PABA) .It is a specific test for the determination of the exocrine function of the pancreas. It can be more reliable if P-aminobenzoic acid absorbing test (PABA) is also performed to eliminate the intestinal, hepatic, and renal factors in PABA absorption and excretion. The authors used the combined method of PFD and PABA to study the pancreatic exicrine function in 32 cases of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and 16 cases of dermatomyositis (DM) . It was found that lowed exocrine function of the pancreas occurred in 9.4% of SLE cases and in 18.8% of DM cases though no definite abdominal symptoms or signs could be observed in those cases. It is suggested that the combined PFD and PABA method be used in early SLE and DM cases to evaluate the pancreatic exocrine function.
6.Management and use of files of scientific papers
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2001;0(08):-
Ways of effectively managing and using the scientific papers published by the personnel of an orga- nization so as to contribute to the enhancement of its scientific and technological strength and the level of its medical work are issues to be explored by file managing departments of scientific and medical institutions. On the one hand, the institutions should work out by administrative means various rules and regulations so as to standardize the filing of papers. On the other hand, the filing departments should enhance people's consciousness and initiative in placing their papers on file through excellent management and convenient service so as to bring the filing of scientific papers into a sound cycle. 7.Surgical treatment for supratentorial hypertensive intracerebral hematoma by modified minicraniotomy approach and bone fragment reduction
Clinical Medicine of China 2012;28(4):423-425
Objective To explore the techniques and clinical effects of surgical treatment for supratentorial hypertensive intracerebral hematoma (HICH) by modified minicraniotomy approach and bone fragment reduction. Methods The clinical data of 87 patients with supratentorial HICH in our department from April,2009 to April,2011 who received modified minicraniotomy approach and reduction of bone fragment were retrospectively reviewed. Results Of the 87 patients, three died, and the remaining 84 cases were followed up.According to the ADL( activities of daily living) scale, the patients were classified:Twenty-six cases in grade Ⅰ,28 in grade Ⅱ,22 in grade Ⅲ,6 in grade Ⅳ and 2 in grade Ⅴ.Conclusion The surgical procedure of modified minicraniotomy approach and reduction of bone fragment for treatment of supratentorial HICH has some advantages such as miniinvasion, good exposure, wide visual field, complete clearance of hematoma, integrated skull, and less complications. It is a perfect surgical procedure for supratentorial HICH.
8.Observation of effect of IFN-αcombined with ATRA in liver cancer therapy in perioperative phase of intervention *
Chongqing Medicine 2013;(21):2449-2451
Objective To study the effect of IFN-αcombined with ATRA in liver cancer therapy in perioperative phase of inter-vention .Methods An animal model of liver cancer CBRH7919 was established by implanting 28 Wistar rats with tumor tissue .The hepatic artery was tied off in one month after formation of tumor .All the rats were randomly divided into the experimental group (14 cases) and the control group(14 cases) .The control group accepted peritoneal injection with normal saline while the experimen-tal group accepted IFN-αcombined with ATRA .10 days later ,all the rats were sacrificed .And the level of expression of VEGF ,bF-GF ,mirovessel density ,and apoptotic index of tumor cells were measured .Results Serum VEGF level ,MVD and apoptotic index of tumor cells of the experimental group were statistically lower than that of the control group [(91 .8 ± 12 .7) pg/mL ,(115 .7 ± 11 .8)/HP ,(12 .29 ± 4 .53)% vs .(67 .4 ± 18 .3)pg/mL ,(65 .3 ± 7 .2)/HP ,(3 .81 ± 1 .52)% ,t=4 .099、13 .642、6 .640 ,P<0 .05)] , results of RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry detection both showed that the levels of expression of VEGF and bFGF of the exper-imental group was lower than that of the control group .Conclusion IFN-αcombined with ATRA in liver cancer therapy in periop-erative phase of intervention could suppress the generation of neoplastic vascular and improve the effect of the intervention .So it is worth promoting .
9.The effects of tetrandrine on metabolism of prostaglandin and lipids in patients with essential hypertension
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
The effects of tetrandrine on serum TXB2, 6 - Keto - PGF1?, LPO and lipids in patients(n= 40)with essential hypertension has been studied. The results showed that: (1) The levels of serum 6 - Keto -PGF1?,apoA1 in EHT were lower and the level of serum TXB2,LPO and apoB100 were higher than those in control. (2)Patients with essential hypertension treated with tetrandrine (0.1 ~ 0. 2g,tid,po)for 3 mon revealed that thelevels of TXB2, LPO and apoB100 were decreased, and the levels of apoA1 and 6 - Keto - PGF1? were increased. In conslusion, tetrandrine stimulated the synthesis of PGI2 and inhibited the release of TXA2 and normalized the metabolism of lipids in patients with essential hypertension.
10.Research advances in hepatitis C virus-related renal injury and its treatment
Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2017;33(6):1156-1160
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a blood-borne virus transmitted through contact with blood and blood products, and it is a major cause of liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Many epidemiological studies have confirmed the association between HCV infection and renal disease.Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis associated with mixed cryoglobulinemia is the most common type of HCV-related renal disease manifesting as nephropathy or nephritic syndrome, proteinuria, hematuria, and reduced glomerular filtration rate. The treatment of HCV-related renal disease includes antiviral therapy,B cell clearance, and non-specific immunosuppressive therapy. At the same time, the launch of rnew antiviral drugs has brought hope to the patients who cannot tolerate conventional regimens. This article reviews the research advances in epidemiology, clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, and treatment of HCV-related renal injury.
