Objective: To examine differences in depression and anxiety between nurses in Macau and Guangzhou. Methods: To compare the scores of SAS and SDS of two groups of nurses in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University and Macao Centro hospitalar Conde de S. Ja'muario. Results: Total mean scores of SAS and SDS showed no significant differences between groups. Cataract is still the main blinding eye disease,and it is a major goal of fighting blindness in China.In the past years,the diagnosis,treatment technology and equipment have made great progress.With the further understanding of this disease and increasing requirement of patients for the quality of life,the standardization,safety and efficacy of the clinical diagnosis and surgical outcomes of cataract have become much more important.So the relative clinical examination approaches,modified operating skills,new surgery development and application as well as novel type of functional IOLs design advance rapidly,which provide an expensive space for the selection of the treatment for cataract.High quality of cataract surgery depends on preoperative precise biometry,reasonable operating scheme targeting at personality,suitable functional IOL,less intra-or post-operative complications,effectively avoiding treatment risk and correctly processing disadvantageous factors affecting postoperative visual quality.Therefore,the management of cataract surgery is a systemic procedure.The issue of improving ophthalmic examination,new cataract surgical technique and new IOL emerges as the time requires.How to make up individual-based treatment options for patients,better improve postoperative visual quality,enhance the safety of operative procedure,reduce operative complications is the challenges and unremitting goal for the ophthalmologists.

Purpose:To study the clinicopathological features of otolaryngeal mucoepidermoid carcinoma, and to elucidate its diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Methods:The clinical data were reviewed retrospectively and immunohistochemical stains were performed in 15 cases of mucoepidermiod carcinoma.Results:The 15 patients were all male with average age of 55 years. Two histological types were found: well differentiated (14 cases), poorly differentiated (1 case). The tumor cells were positive for CK,CK8,EMA,CEA.Conclusions:Mucoepidermoid carcinoma of otolaryngeal tumor is a rare tumor. It can be differentiated from other otolaryngeal tumors based on the histopathologic features and immunohistochemical findings. Histological type of the tumor is important for clinical therapy and prognostic evaluation.

Objective: To investigate the marriage quality of the couples with primary male infertility in order to provide consulting for them.Methods: 37 patients with male infertility and their mates were rated by Olson questionnaire.Results: ①Compared with other married couples,the scores of satisfaction degree of marriage,communication between couples and sexual life of the couples with male infertility are higher and the mates of these patients have higher scores than those of married female in the factors of resolving conflicts,extracurricular activities,relationship with relatives and friends.②The marriage quality between the patients with male infertility and the new wedding males has no difference,and the scores of the extracurricular activities of the wives of the patients with male infertility were higher than those of the new wedding wives,and the scores of the economic arrangement were significantly lower in the patients' wives.Conclusion: Male infertility has no obvious influence on marriage quality.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the hand hygiene situation of medical staff in order to carry out supervising and monitoring on their hand hygiene pertinently.METHODS The hand hygiene monitoring data from Jan 2004 to Dec 2007 were retrospectively analyzed.RESULTS The total qualified rate of medical staff hand hygiene was 91.4%;the qualified rate of hand hygiene monitoring for doctors was 89.8%,and it was 96.7% for nurses;the qualified rate of medical staff working in the type-Ⅱenvironment was 93.6%,and the qualified rate of those working in the type-Ⅲ environment was 95.2%;for medical students and refresher doctors,it was 81.0 %.CONCLUSIONS The medical staff still lack the knowledge on hands' cleanliness and disinfection.The supervisors should strengthen monitoring on hand hygiene;some new regulations should be established and practiced,and the hand washing equipments should be updated;the medical staff's compliance of hand hygiene should be improved,and their conceptions of hand hygiene should be strengthened;all-sided originalities on hand hygiene should be carried out in order to reduce the occurring of hospital infections.

Engenfaces is a simple and effective face recognition method based on the relativity of the training set and testing set of face images.However,the correct recognition rate decreases by eigenfaces sharply when the face pose varies.Aiming at improving correct recognition rate in this case,a face recognition approach correlative with face poses is presented.The basic idea is toensure that testing face with particular pose should be matched in the face database whose poses are the same as that of the testing face.Experimental results show the new method gains higher correct recognition rates than traditional eigenfaces method.

Objective To prepare and characterize nanoparticles in-loaded one-way release-controlled chitosan membrane,and to explore the release-controlled rule of the film in vitro.Methods The chitosan nanoparticles were prepared by inverse crosslinking-emulsion method.The one-way release-controlled membrane was prepared by a casting method.Transmission electron microscope (TEM) was used to evaluate the morphological properties and particle size analyzer was used to analyze particle size distribution.The morphology of the membrane was inspected through scanning electron microscope (SEM).MTT assay was applied to determine the biological safety of chitosan nanoparticles.The distribution of the nanoparticles was observed by fluorescence microscope.The in vitro release studies were adopted to evaluate the release-controlled rule.Results The four kinds of nanoparticles had spherical shapes and uniform particle size.The size of the hyaluronic acid-coated chitosan nanoparticle was (255.40±39.10) nm.Hyaluronic acid-coated chitosan nanoparticles showed the best property of sustained release and biocompatibility.The membrane had a loose inner layer and a dense outer layer,and the distribution of the nanoparticles was uniform in the inner layer of the membrane.The release of protein from membrane was unidirectional and the membrane displayed good controlled release property.Conclusions The nanoparticles in-loaded one-way release-controlled chitosan membrane presents good one-way sustained release performance.It is potentially useful in delivery system of growth factors.

Objective To investigate the effects of intervention of information literacy education on the feeling of uncertainty of patients with percutaneous coronary intervention.Methods A total of 228 cases of patients with percutaneous coronary intervention who were hospitalized during July 2010 to June 2012 were selected.The patients were divided into two groups by means of random numbers table:the experimental group (including 119 cases) and the control group (including 109 cases).The patients of the control group received traditional nursing intervention,while the patients of the experimental group received additional information literacy education intervention besides the traditional nursing.The change of feeling of uncertainty and state anxiety level of patients under two kinds of nursing interventions was analyzed and compared.Results The patients of the experimental group had high uncertainty level on the day of admission,(99.17-4.46) points.It was obviously higher than the total score (80) by 50％.Compared with that on the day of admission,the uncertainty level on the night before surgery and on the day of patient discharge significantly declined.The state anxiety level of the patients of the experimental group was (52.97±5.91) points,higher than the normative level of Chinese normal people.Compared with that on the day of admission,the state anxiety level on the night before surgery and on the day of patient discharge significantly declined,and it was lower than the normative level.Compared with those of the control group,the MUIS and SAI assessment of the experimental group on the night before surgery and the day of patient discharge obviously declined.Conclusions The information literacy education intervention was able to reduce the uncertainty level and state anxiety level of patients with percutaneous coronary intervention.Therefore,the nursing quality of patients was enhanced.

Objective To study on glycogen assay,polymerae chain reaction,and cell culture for diagnostic value of chlamydia infection of vervical smeat.Methods 106 specimens were examined by using glycogen assay,PCR and cell culture.Results Compared with cell culture,the sensitivity and specifity of glycogen assay are 80.0％ and 95.8％ ,and the sensitivity and specifity of PCR are 90.0％ and 97.9％ ,respectively.Conclusion The glycogen assay possesses diagnostic value for chlamydia trachomatis infection of vervical smear.
