Objective To analyze the behavioral characteristics and mental health status for patients with chronic hepatitis B,to explore the correlation between them and analyze the influence of behavioral characteristics of patients with chronic hepatitis B on their mental health.And provide a reference of clinical mental health intervention for patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods 216 cases of patients with chronic hepatitis B in our hospital from October 2010 to October 2011 were chosen as the research object.Symptom checklist-90(SCL-90)and Eysenck personality questionnaire(EPQ)were used for evaluation.The correlation of behavioral characteristics and mental health status for patients with chronic hepatitis B and the effect of behavioral characteristics of patients with chronic hepatitis B for their mental health were analyzed.Results The SCL-90 score for 216 cases of chronic hepatitis B patients showed that its total score was significantly higher than the norm,the difference was statistically significant.The results of EPQ score showed that the neurotic or emotional stability of personality scores were significantly higher than the norm,the difference was significant.The psychotic scores were significantly lower than the norm,the difference was significant.The analysis of the correlation for nine projects in the SCL-90 scale and four items in the EPQ scale showed that introversion had a significant positive correlation with compulsion,depression,anxiety,fear and paranoia.The nervous or emotion had a significant positive correlation with compulsion,interpersonal sensitivity,paranoid,psychotic.Conclusions The behavioral characteristics of chronic hepatitis B patients have a relation with the mental health.The mental health status changes according to the changes of behavioral characteristics.

Objective To investigate influence of nursing intervention on quality of life of hospitalized patients with peptic ulcer. Methods l00 cases of peptic ulcer patients from October 2009 to September 2011 were chosen as the object.50 patients of hospitalized patients were defined as the ward group,and 50 cases of patients in outpatient were defined as the outpatient group.The life quality questionnaire was adopted to evaluate life quality before and after treatment between two groups. Results After intervention,number of patients whose score ranged 5～7 grades were more in the ward group than those in the outpatient group. Conclusions Nursing intervention for patients with peptic ulcer has significant effect on life quality and treatment effect of them.

Objective To evaluate hemodynamic status,pathological,imaging and ultrasound changes of residual lymph nodes from diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) after chemotherapy and their relationship with clinical treatment after chemotherapy.Methods 50 DLBCL patients undergoing full course of chemotherapy but still bearing residual lymph nodes were examined with ultrasound-guided lymph node biopsy.Some examinations were combined with PET-CT to analyze properties of residual lymph nodes.Results 64 lymph nodes were identified by color Doppler ultrasounda in the 50 DLBCL patients treated with full course of chemotherapy.Among them,53 lymph nodes from 42 patients did not show artery blood flow and HE staining of these lymph node biopsy met the clinical standard for complete remission.For the other 11 lymph nodes from 8 patients,ultrasound examination displayed smrounding blood flow inside.At the same time,PET-CT showed that these lymph nodes had higher SUV values,implying high metabolic state in these tissues,which was in agreement with ultrasonic examination results.However,HE staining of these lymph nodes biopsy demonstrated only residual lesion but no tumor tissue.Conclusions Lymph nodes still exist in DLBCL patients treated with full course of chemotherapy.Ultrasound and PET-CT examination have high accuracy in diagnosing benign and malignant residual lymph nodes in follow-up examination on 4 weeks after chemotherapy showed that lymph nodes are over ＞ 1.5 cm in length and have central or peripheral blood flow.Therefore,PET-CT examination of tumor could be considered as a reference index in characterizing residual tumors after chemotherapy.

Objective To investigate the effect of experimental benzolism on marrow eryghrocyte micromucleus.Methods Fifty male KunMingmice(KM)were randomly divided into 5 groups:one control group and four experimental groups with 10 mice in each group.The mice were injected subcutaneously with sodium chloride in control group and benzene in experimental groups on every Monday,Wednesday and Friday for four weeks.Four experimental groups were injected with a dosage of 0.5 ml/kg(group B1),1.0 nd/kg(group B2),1.5 ml/kg(group B3) and 2.0 ml/ks(group B4),respectively.Before and after injection of sodium chloride or benzene weekly.weight was measured,and the alteration of erythrocyte micronucleus in peripheral blood and marrow were detected.Results ① Compared to the control group,several indices were partly changed in B1 and B2 groups,while all indices changed significantly in group B3 and B4 groups four weeks after injection(P<0.01).②The erythrocyte micronucleus rate of experimental mice in peripheral blood and marrow showed ascending tendency with the extension of benzene injection phase,peak emerged in the third week and decreased in the fourth week.③In the 4th week,compared to the control group,the alteration of erythrocyte micronucleus in marrow in all experimental groups were significantly increaged(P<0.05).Conclusions Benzolism may induce the increasing of micronucleus rate of mature erythrocyte in peripheral blood and erythrocyte in marrow.which can be used to detect status of being restrained in marrow erythrocyte series.

Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) was considered to be the most rapidly fatal leukemia,because of serve clinical manifestation,high rate of early death and the low cure rate.APL has achieved great success due to the application of ATRA and ATO.Although the complete remission rate is about 90％,the relapse rate has been reported to be as high as 15％-30％.So reducing the recurrence and improving long-time survival have become the focus of the study.Choosing the reasonable treatment after remission is very important.The post remission therapy usually include consolidation therapy and maintenance therapy,but the optimal strategy has been controversy.Therefore,this artical will review the literature of APL in consolidation therapy.

BACKGROUND: The skill to culture osteoblasts primarily has been well developed. However, trypsinase can affect membrane protein of osteoblasts if the time of digestion is long. Therefore, it is of great significance to select an ideal method to avoid the damage from trypsinase to cells as possible when culturing osteoblasts.OBJECTIVE: To explore a novel method to isolate and culture SD rat osteoblasts in vitro, and identify the functions of the cells.DESIGN: Observational study.SETTING: Department of Orthopaedics, First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University.MATERIALS: This experiment was carried out in the Department of Orthopaedics, First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University from March to May in 2007. Eight SPF 24-hour old SD rats were used in the experiment. The rats, irrespective of gender, were provided by the Experimental Animal Center of Nanfang Medical University. The experimental animals were disposed according to ethical criteria. The main reagents were detailed as follows: collagenase Ⅱ (Sigma Company);trypsin (Sigma Company); alkaline phosphatase (ALP) kit (Nanjing Jiancheng Biological Products Company); SABC-1021(Wuhan Boster Biotechnology Company).METHODS: 24-hour old SD rats were chosen for experiment. The newly born SD rats were sacrificed by anesthesia and the cranial bones of the rats were obtained cleanly, erased completely of the periosteum and cut to blocks of I mm3. The cranial bones were digested by 0.25 % trypsinase for 20 minutes, then by 0. 1% type Ⅱ collagenase for 60 minutes. The digestive time of trypsinase was controlled in the process of digestion to avoid to harm the cells. The liquid was gathered and centrifuged. The cells were cultured in culture flask and were purified by many times adhered.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Morphology observations under the inverted phase contrast microscope, transmission electron microscope, and scanning electron microscope were performed. The phenotype, calcium tuberculation and the expression of alkaline phosphatase were studied with alizarin red staining and modified Gomori Ca-Co assays respectively.The cells were also evaluated with collage Ⅰ immunohistochemical staining.RESULTS: The cultured cells had active proliferation ability. Cells showed multi-angle or fusiform shape. Nucleus was immature and organell was plentiful. Therefore, they had typical morphological characters of osteoblasts. Moreover, they showed the osteoblastic phenotypes such as their synthesis of alkaline phosphatase, collage Ⅰ and formation of calcium tuberculations.CONCLUSION: The cells cultured by our modified enzymatic digestion method had typical morphological and biological characteristics of osteoblasts.

Objective To detect the expression of β-catenin in the tissues of primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL), and to discuss its function in PCNSL.Methods The paraffin embedded tissues from 10 patients diagnosed as PCNSL from October 2010 to April 2012 were collected as the experimental group.The paraffin embedded tissues from 10 patients with lymphadenitis were collected as the control group.Quantitative real-time PCR and immunohistochemical method were used to detect the expression of β-catenin in these tissues, and the relationships between β-catenin and clinical data were analyzed.Results Immunohistochemistry results showed that β-catenin protein was localized in the cytoplasm and (or) nucleus.Among 10 PCNSL patients, β-catenin protein was positive in 4 patients, while it was no positive in all of 10 lymphadenitis patients, with the significant differences between both groups (P ＜ 0.05).The β-catenin gene relative expression level was 4.70±0.57 and 1.00±0.27 in the experimental group and the control group, respectively.β-catenin expression was no correlation to age, PS score, cerebrospinal fluid protein level and serum lactate dehydrogenase level of patients with PCNSL.Conclusions Whether in mRNA level or in protein level, β-catenin expression is always high in PCNSL tissues, and its protein is expressed in the cytoplasm, however, this phenomenon was not observed in the tissue of lymphadenitis.

Objectives To investigate the characteristics of changes in serum metabolic profile before and after resection of carcinoma tissues to establish a disease distinguishing model,to analyze the changing trend of characteristic metabolites,and to determine the molecular mechanism and potential clinical value of characteristic metabolic markers for HBV-related liver cancer.Methods Ultraperformance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS) was used to analyze the serum metabolites of 15 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) before and after partial hepatectomy and on 25 healthy volunteers.The pattern recognition method and nonparametric test analyzes were used to analyze the data and to identify the specific metabolites and their changes after resection of carcinoma tissues.Results We established the principal component analysis (PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) disease distinguishing model for HCC patients before and after operation as against the healthy volunteers.To distinguish between the liver cancer group and the normal control group,27 characteristic metabolites were selected from the patients before and after resection of carcinoma tissues.Eight moved towards the normal control after resection of carcinoma tissues.This indicated that liver carcinoma was an important impacting factor for these metabolites.Finally,7 metabolites were identified,and these metabolites had high diagnostic value as shown on ROC curves.Conclusions Through serum metabolic profiling of patients before and after resection of carcinoma tissues,a high correlation between metabolism and hepatocellular carcinoma was found.Researches on endogenous metabolites and pathways in liver diseases will provide a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms and provide further directions for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Objective To understand the epidemic status quo and influencing factors of Kashin-Beck disease among children in mountain areas of Jilin Province.Methods Two hundred eighty-two severe endemic areas in 18 counties were selected and stratified by random cluster sampling method,and the status quo of KashinBeck disease prevalence was investigated among 7-12 year-old children according to the Diagnostic Criteria of Kashin-Beck Disease (WS/T 207-2010).In the meantime,the annual household income and the proportion of economic crops replanted,grain out-sourced,and returning farmlands to forests and grass were surveyed in the disease affected areas.Results A total of 14 162 children were investigated who had no clinical symptoms.Among them,28 cases were detected positive using X-ray with a detection rate of 1.98‰,while most of the cases were metaphysis positive.The annual household income (≥5 000 Yuan vs.＜ 5 000 Yuan) in the year 2009-2011 had a significant impact on the incidence of Kashin-Beck disease (1.47‰ vs.3.67‰,x2 =6.179,P ＜ 0.05),while the areas of returning farmland to forests and grass which accounted ＞ 1％ had no significant influence on the incidence compared with that ≤ 1％ (3.30‰ vs.1.57‰,x2 =3.876,P ＞ 0.05);the areas of economic crops replanting which accounted ＞ 10％ had no significant influence on the incidence compared with that ≤ 10％ (3.07‰ vs.1.65‰,x2 =2.565,P ＞ 0.05);the proportion of grain out-sourcing which accounted ＞ 50％ had no significant influence on the incidence compared with that ≤50％ (3.07‰ vs.1.65‰,x2 =2.565,P ＞ 0.05).Conehision Up to 2012,the disease among 7-12 year-old children of the mountain areas of Jilin Province have basically met the standard of Kashin-Beck disease elimination and the situation remains stable;furthermore,the household income has a significant impact on the incidence of Kashin-Beck disease.
