1.Analysis of the Pharmaceutical Industry in China Based on Structure-conduct-performance Model

OBJECTIVE:To know the current situation of pharmaceutical industry in China and provide suggestion for its fur-ther development. MATHODS:The structure-conduct-performance model in industrial organization theory was adopted to analyze the pharmaceutical industry statistics data in China from 2004 to 2012. RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:The characteristic of pharma-ceutical industry market structure was numerous pharmaceutical industries,but with low industry concentration;market entry barri-ers were low;the degree of product differentiation was increasing;new product output rate was basically increased year by year in recent years. The characteristic of pharmaceutical industry market conduct was weak pricing power,more than 2 400 drugs’pricing were monitored by government;the advertisement input of drugs was increased,and only 2013 ads served through the network plat-form was reached 630 million yuan;pharmaceutical industry mergers and acquisitions were active,and there were 43 public phar-maceutical industry mergers and acquisitions in 2013;R & D spending was annually increased,and the numbers of patent applica-tions and invention patents in force in 2012 were respectively 9 580 and 10 073. The characteristic of market performance was in-crease of sales profit rate year by year,reaching 11% in 2012;the output rate of new products for several years growth rate was reached 16.68% in 2011. However,there are still large gap between China and foreign pharmaceutical industry. It is suggested that the industry structure of development of pharmaceutical industry in China should be improved by strategic merger;increase R & D input;focus on building innovative research and development platform,improve collaborative innovation capability;strengthen monitoring of pharmaceutical industry,and implement standardized management.
2.Diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer complicated with appendicitis

Objective To explore missing diagnosis measurement for the prevention or reduction of colon cancer complication of appendicitis and treatment method of both complications. Methods Recall analysis for the reason of 16 cases of patients who suffered from missing diagnosis of colon cancer are treated and treatment method before the operation of appendicitis. Resnlts 10 cases of tumor in caecum,5 cases of up colon,1 ease of liver bend- ing;5 cases of tumor unbroken serosa diameter <2cm,8 cases of diameter >2~4cm,3 cases of diameter >4cm; 1 ease of tumor extensive transference synechia, 5 cases of appendicitis swollen surface pus, 7 cases of end congestion, 4 cases of inflammation ooze bad subcutaneous ulcer. Conclusion The improvement of acknowledgement to the colon cancer complication of appendicitis,consultation for the suspected patients for illnesshistory in detail, completion of various tiems of check,better check belly cutting open under operation, check right colon so as to be an effective method for prevention of missing diagnosis to colon cancer complication appendicitis and take different methods de- pending on the operation.
3.Application of damage control in the abdominal injury with multiple injuries

Objective To explore injury control in the abdominal injury with serious multiple injuries in the early diagnosis and treatment level.Methods Retrospectively analyzed 100 patients with abdominal injury with severe multiple trauma diagnosis and treatment for summing up experience.Results Phase Ⅰ results of 80 cases of abdominal surgery,the 20 patients with chest and abdominal surgery,the merger of trauma surgery 26 cases Ⅰ,Ⅱsurgery in 19 cases,cured 91 cases(91.0%),9 patients died(9.0%),the causes of death combine severe brain injury 4 csaes(44.4%),severe hemorrhagic shock in 3 cases(33.3%,deaths in the 2 cases),multiple organ failure after operation 2 cases(22.2%).Complications after abdominal surgery:stress ulcer 29 cases(29.0%),abdominal wound cracked 15 cases(15.0%),low-nutrition of 25 cases(25.0%),18 cases of intestinal obstruction adhesions(18.0%).Conclusion Surgery damage control applications can be effective in redueing the mortality rate in the abdominal injury with serious multiple injuries.
4.ULTRASTRUCTURE OF RESPIRATORY CILIA IN HUMAN

The respiratory cilia of normal and abnormal regions in 20 patients with lung cancer or tuberculosis were observed under electron microscope.The results show that the 9?2+2 microtubules arrangement was seen in cross section of the cilium. Ultrastructure of the cilia is about the same as that of other mammalian ceils. However,a very interesting finding was that the ciliary rootlets became greatly hypertrophied.Thus,the structure was easily identified.It appeared as striated muscles. Therefore we propose a new idea that is quite different from Satir's hypothesis about the mechanism of ciliary movement.We think that ciliary rootlets may generate movement rather than fix cilia.Dynein arms and radial spoke may be involved in supporting and fixing for ciliary movement.
5.Comparison study results by two thyroidectomy

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy between endoscopic thyroidectomy via breast approach conventional open thyroidectomy in patients with nodular goiter. Methods A series of 70 patients with unilateral nodular goiter divided into two groups, either receiving endoscopic thyroidectomy through breast approach(endoscopic group,35 cases),or conventional open thyroidectomy(open group,35 cases). The therapeutic efficacy was compared between the two groups. Results The operating time of endoscopic group was significantly longer in the endoscopic group (100.4±26.6)min than in the open group (73.5±14.5) min(t=5. 627, P=0. 000). The postoperative drainage volume in the endoscopic group (66.7±24.9) ml significantly more than that in the open group ( 13.3±6.4)ml( t = 14. 403, P = 0. 000 ). The postoperative hospital stasignificantly longer in the endoscopic group (4.3±1.1 )d than in the open group (3.6±0.9)d(t=2.886, P=0.005). And a satisfactory cosmetic result was achieved in significantly more patients in the endoscopic group(9/24 cases) than in the open group(34/51 )(x2 = 7.235, P=0.007). There was no significant difference in intraoperative loss between the endoscopic group (22.5±15.3)ml and the open group (18.3±7.5 )ml(t=1.273, P=0.207), a consumption of analgesics between the endoscopic group (9/24 eases) and the open group(21/51 cases) (X2=0.028, P=0.867), respectively. No severe complications was encountered ,such as massive hemorrhage,injuries of the recurrent or sularyngeal nerve, or parathyroidgland injury. Conclusion Both breast approach endoscopic thyroidectomy and conventional open thyroidectomy are safe and effective, former gives better cosmetic outcomes.
6.EFFECT OF ANORDRIN AND ITS ANALOGUE ON THE UTERINE ENDOMETRIAL STRUCTURE IN MICE

In this paper attempt has been made to observe the effect of Anordrin and its analogue SIPPR-113 on the morphological characters of uterine endometrium in mice implantation period and after castration. 100 mice were used in two experiments. The first experiment was performed in mice after mating, it included 5 groups as follows: control, estradial, progesterone, Anordrin and SIPPR-113 groups. The mice were treated with least doses (2-4mg/kg) which can prevent implantation on dayl-2 after mating. The animals were killed on the 5th day of pregnancy. The second, experiment contained also 5 groups: mature female mice were treated with 1/4-1/2 of above doses on the 25-26th day and were killed on the 29th day after castration. The uterine endometrium was embedded with paraffin and Epon812, histological sections and semi-thin sections (1ftm thick) and ultra-thin sections were made. They were observed under light microscope and electron microscope (Hitachi-600). Similar results were obtained in the two series of experiments. The endometrium had grown obviously and the numbers of glands and of cell's mitosis were increased, edema was indicated in stroma, as well as secretory function of glands was prevented period of implantation. Some lysosomes and lipid drops were found in the glandular cells and micro-filaments were observed in stromal cells under electron microscope. The effect of SIPPR-113 were similar to Anordrin, their anti-implantation action may be related to their estrogen and anti-progestrone action. 7.Study between CAI and tradition-media teaching method to pathological course teaching

Objective To investigate differences of teaching effects between CAI method and traditional teaching method. Methods The performance records of material media were compared after the students of nursing specialty attended lectures with CAI method or traditional teaching method. Results Comparing CAI method with traditional teaching method, there are respective advantages. CAI method and traditional teaching method can not substitute each other. Conclusions Effect of teaching with combination of CAI method and traditional teaching method has more advantage than simple CAI method.
8.A Novel Automatic Registration Method for Serial Brain Images

Registration of serial images plays an increasingly important role in medicine. A novel registration method used for serial images matching is proposed, which is based on the joint histogram. After thresholding the two images to be registered, the joint histogram is divided into four separate regions. Then the criterion function is defined as bin counting in a specific region of the joint histogram, which simplifies the computation of the criteria function greatly and speeds up the alignment process significantly. We choose the Powell optimization algorithm to calculate the registration parameters. The comparison of the results from both mutual information and our method shows that the new method based on segmentation and counting is a fast, simple, efficient and accurate registration method.
9.Determination of depressor constituent sanggenon of Cortex Mori in different sources

Objective:To study the contents and determinate method of Sanggenon C of Cortex Mori in different sources.Methods:Sanggenon C was determined by HPLC. The mobile phase was methanol water(75∶25). Detection wavelength was at 280nm.Results:The average recovery was 96.94% with RSD = 1.72% and the linear range was 0.32~4.80?g. The highest content of Sanggenon C was 0.55% and the lowest content was 0.02% from different producing area. Conclusion: The method is accurate and reliable with good reproducibility.
10.Des-γ-carboxy prothrombin in hepatocellular carcinoma

Des-γ-carboxy prothrombin (DCP)is produced abnormally in hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Vitamin K utilizing deficiency and the decreasing activity of vitamin K-dependent γ-glutamyl carboxylate and coenzyme may involve in production of DCP. The enzymes in bepatocellular carcinoma cells are failed in carboxylating all the ten glutamic acid residues in amino- terminus of prothrombin precursor to Gla and make the difference between DCP and prothrombin. DCP is considered to be the marker for diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma. DCP might also be one of the growth-promoting factors to carcinoma cells. Therefore, inhibition of DCP in hepatocellular carcinoma cells is considered to be the therapeutic method of blocking hepatocellular car-cinoma growth. Vitamin K and its analogs are found to have the functions of inhibiting hepatocellular carcinoma cell producing DCP. The mechanism may relate to the increase of γ-glutamyl carboxylase activity.
