OBJECTIVE:To know the current situation of pharmaceutical industry in China and provide suggestion for its fur-ther development. MATHODS:The structure-conduct-performance model in industrial organization theory was adopted to analyze the pharmaceutical industry statistics data in China from 2004 to 2012. RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:The characteristic of pharma-ceutical industry market structure was numerous pharmaceutical industries,but with low industry concentration;market entry barri-ers were low;the degree of product differentiation was increasing;new product output rate was basically increased year by year in recent years. The characteristic of pharmaceutical industry market conduct was weak pricing power,more than 2 400 drugs’pricing were monitored by government;the advertisement input of drugs was increased,and only 2013 ads served through the network plat-form was reached 630 million yuan;pharmaceutical industry mergers and acquisitions were active,and there were 43 public phar-maceutical industry mergers and acquisitions in 2013;R & D spending was annually increased,and the numbers of patent applica-tions and invention patents in force in 2012 were respectively 9 580 and 10 073. The characteristic of market performance was in-crease of sales profit rate year by year,reaching 11% in 2012;the output rate of new products for several years growth rate was reached 16.68% in 2011. However,there are still large gap between China and foreign pharmaceutical industry. It is suggested that the industry structure of development of pharmaceutical industry in China should be improved by strategic merger;increase R & D input;focus on building innovative research and development platform,improve collaborative innovation capability;strengthen monitoring of pharmaceutical industry,and implement standardized management.

Objective To explore the effects of Henoch-Sch(o)nlein purpura (HSP) on myocardium and clinical significance of myocardial enzymes,and to guide the application of drugs which benefit myocardium by analysis of myocardial enzymes.Methods A total of 158 children with HSP and 50 healthy chidren (control group) were collected.Children with HSP according to the affected area were divided into simple group (skin involvement only,63 cases) and mixed group (skin involvement combined with joint symptoms,gastrointestinal symptoms,kidney symptoms and others,95 cases).The fasting venous blood were collected for measurement of cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ),α-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase (HBDH),aspartictransaminase (AST),lactic dehydrogenase (LDH),creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB),creatine kinase (CK) by Japan Hitachi 7600-020 automatic analyzer.Electrocardiogram was recorded in children with abnormality of cTnⅠ and myocardial enzyme.Results In simple group and mixed group,the values of cTnⅠ,CK-MB,α-HBDH,AST,LDH were significantly higher than those in control group [(1.41 ± 0.61),(1.86 ± 0.92) μg/L vs.(0.66 ±0.39) μg/L,(19.60 ±11.28),(28.12 ±6.00) U/L vs.(14.64 ±4.41) U/L,(258.00 ± 52.73),(327.90 ± 65.60) U/L vs.(158.40 ± 45.11) U/L,(35.7 ± 7.2),(39.6 ± 12.0) U/L vs.(27.2 ± 7.3) U/L,(300.5 ± 80.0),(320.5 ± 65.0) U/L vs.(260.0 ± 30.0) U/L](P＜ 0.05).In mixed group,the values of cTnⅠ,CK-MB,α-HBDH were significantly higher than those in simple group (P＜0.05).In mixed group,the values of AST,LDH showed no significant difference when compared with that of the simple group (P＞ 0.05).In simple group,one or more indicators were elevated in 16 cases; in mixed group,one or more indicators were elevated in 39 cases.There was significant difference between two groups in abnormal rate of cTnⅠ,CK-MB,α-HBDH [15.87％(10/63) vs.30.53％(29/95),7.94％(5/63) vs.21.05％ (20/95),11.11％(7/63) vs.24.21％ (23/95)] (P ＜0.05).Electrocardiographic results in children with abnormal myocardial enzymes showed that tachycardia occurred in 15 cases (4 cases of simple group,11 cases of mixed group).Bradycardia occurred in 2 cases in mixed group.Sinus arrhythmia occurred in 10 cases (4 cases of simple group,6 cases of mixed group),no other arrhythmia presented.Conclusions Some of HSP children may present with abnormality of myocardial enzymes.Changes of myocardial enzymes in mixed group are more significantly than those in simple group.In HSP children complicated with myocardial damage,there are no specific changes in electrocardiogram.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of second-stage revision in treating infection after artificial total hip arthroplasty.MethodsThe clinical data of 11 cases with infection after artificial total hip arthroplasty who got second-stage revision from April 2007 to October 2009 were analyzed retrospectively.All patients were treated with first-stage complete debridement,antibiotic-loaded bone cement prosthesis implantation and second-stage revision after controlling infection.The therapeutic effect was assessed by Harris hip score,laboratory examination and imaging study.ResultsThe average interval of first-stage debridement and second-stage revision was 5.6 (4-11) months.The average time of follow-up was 34 (24-48) months.None of 11 patients had reinfection and complications.Harris hip score before operation [17-43 (30.71±13.52) scores] and during follow-up after operation [72-96 (84.38±12.85) scores] had statistical significance (P＜ 0.05).Six cases had good effect,4 cases were moderate and 1 case was acceptable.The rate of good and moderate effect was 90.91％( 10/1 1 ).ConclusionsSecond-stage revision can reserve the function of hip joint effectively and has high infection eradicating rate.Therefore,it is an effective treatment for postoperative infection of artificial total hip arthroplasty.

Primary focal hyperhidrosis is a disorder of excessive sweating beyond physiological thermoregulation.It can affect the armpits,palms,soles,face,and so on.The etiology and pathogenesis is unclear.The latest study in pathogenesis is the secretory clear cell of the eccrine sweat gland.Apart from the use of antiperspirants and anticholinesterase drugs,other treatments include the injection of botulinum toxin A and surgery.

Objective To explore missing diagnosis measurement for the prevention or reduction of colon cancer complication of appendicitis and treatment method of both complications. Methods Recall analysis for the reason of 16 cases of patients who suffered from missing diagnosis of colon cancer are treated and treatment method before the operation of appendicitis. Resnlts 10 cases of tumor in caecum,5 cases of up colon,1 ease of liver bend- ing;5 cases of tumor unbroken serosa diameter <2cm,8 cases of diameter >2～4cm,3 cases of diameter >4cm; 1 ease of tumor extensive transference synechia, 5 cases of appendicitis swollen surface pus, 7 cases of end congestion, 4 cases of inflammation ooze bad subcutaneous ulcer. Conclusion The improvement of acknowledgement to the colon cancer complication of appendicitis,consultation for the suspected patients for illnesshistory in detail, completion of various tiems of check,better check belly cutting open under operation, check right colon so as to be an effective method for prevention of missing diagnosis to colon cancer complication appendicitis and take different methods de- pending on the operation.

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of compound Kaliziran tincture combined with glucocorticoid on local vitiligo. Methods All patients were randomly recruited into a treatment group and a control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with compound Kaliziran tincture, 3 to 4 times daily, and halometasone / triclosan (sicorten plus), twice daily. While the control group was treated with compound kaliziran tincture exclusively, 3 to 4 times daily. The therapeutic courses for both groups were 5 months. Results The cure rate and the total effective value of the treatment group were 46.66% and 100% respecitvely.Condusion Combined treatment of compound Kaliziran tincture with glucocorticoid has significant efficacy on vitiligo limitations.

To analyze preponderance and prohibition of combined using of tradifional Chinese and western medicine in clinical treatment,hoping to provide referencefor clinical application.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of Mahuang-Fuzi-Xixin decoction and Wuling powder combined with routine western medicine therapy for chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 3.Methods A total of 65 patients with CKD stage 3 were recruited and randomized into a treatment group (32 cases) and a control group (33 cases).On the basis of the same routine western medicine therapy,the patients in the treatment group was treated with Mahuang-Fuzi-Xixin decoction and Wuling powder,while those in the control group was treated with ketosteril.All patients were treated for one month.Renal function was evaluated by serum creatinine,urea nitrogen and uric acid before and after treatment.The therapeutic effect was compared between the two group.Results The serum ereatinine after treatment in the treatment group was significantly decreased than that in the control group (387.52 ± 92.13 mol/L vs.502.78 ± 117.35 mol/L;t=4.395,P＜0.01).The total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (87.5％ vs.42.4％;X2=12.533,P＜0.01).In respects of syndrome improvements,tiredness/weakness (90.6％ vs.48.5％,x2=11.637),waist soreness/leg weakness (90.0％ vs.35.5％;x2=17.040,P＜0.01),anorexia and tympanites (93.3％ vs.37.9％;x2=17.802,P＜0.01),loose stool (93.1％ vs.25.8％;x2=25.219,P＜0.01),anasarca (84.6％ vs.41.7％;x2=8.214,P＜0.01),pale and teeth-printed tongue (76.7％ vs.26.7％;x2=13.081,P＜0.01) in the treatment group were significantly better than those in the control group.Conclusions Mahuang-Fuzi-Xixin decoction and Wuling powder combined with routine western medicine therapy can improve the renal function and syndromes in patients with CKD stage 3.

Needle embedding at the first region of ankle acupuncture plus fomentation was used to treat 18 orchitis cases. The curative rate was 100%.
