1.Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 and its inhibitors in tumor treatment
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(4):263-265
Poly( ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP-1) plays an essential role in DNA repair and maintenance of homeostasis and genome stability. Increased PARP-1 activity has been reported in various forms of cancer. Thus the absence of PARP-1 or the use of its inhibitors depresses DNA repair function, sensitizes cancer cells to DNA damage and enhances the therapeutic effect of radio-or chemotherapy. PARP-1 is potentially a therapeutic target of malignant tumors.
2.Detection of mycoplasma infection in human laryngeal carcinoma
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(08):-
Objective:To detect and analyze the mycoplasma infection in human laryngeal carcinoma and to explore the relationship between the infection with the development, progression and prognosis of laryngeal cancer. Methods: Immunohistochemical methods were employed to detect the mycoplasma infection in 214 specimens of different laryngeal lesions and cervical lymphatic tumors metastasized from laryngeal cancer, including 121 laryngeal cancer specimens,21 laryngeal precancerous specimens,17 vocal cord polypus specimens,14 normal laryngeal tissues adjacent to cancer tissues,9 normal laryngeal tissues opposite to the cancer, and 32 cervical lymphatic tumor specimens metastasized from laryngeal cancer. The infection results were subjected to statistical analysis. Results: The positive rates of mycoplasma 2G10 antibody in laryngeal carcinoma specimens, cervical lymphatic tumor specimens metastasized from laryngeal cancer, laryngeal precancerous specimens, vocal cord polypus specimens, normal laryngeal tissues adjacent to cancer tissues, and normal laryngeal tissues opposite to the cancer were 44.63%(54/121),34.38%(11/32),23.81%(5/21),17.65%(3/17),7.14%(1/14),and 0%(0/9),respectively,with those of laryngeal carcinoma specimens and cervical lymphatic tumor specimens metastasized from laryngeal cancer significantly higher than those of other specimens(P
3.Comparative study of intracranial meningiomas between MRI findings and pathological types
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To evaluate the relationship between MRI features and pathological types of intracranial meningomas.Methods:32 cases of meningoma which were proved by operation and pathology were compared with their MRI features and pathological types. Results:All of the 32 cases were single tumor,The lesions were located in frontal, parietal, and occipital regions nearby the convexity of the brain in 18 cases,at sphenoidal crest in 8 cases,at olfactory sulcus in 4 cases, and in sellar region 2 cases.MRI manifested that 13 cases had their intergral capsules,peri-tumor edema was found in 29 cases, dural“tail” sign was present in 9 cases, calcification in the tumors were found in 3 cases and vascular flow void features was seen in 5 cases,20 cases appeared homogeneous enhancement. Conclusion:It is of great value in presenting the location of meningoma with MRI.Combination of several MRI features could be used to figure out the pathological type of meningoma by a comprehensive analysis.
4.SEGMENTAL AND SUBSEGMENTAL BRONCHOVASCULAR ANATOMY OF THE LUNGS ON THE CORONAL PLANE
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2002;0(06):-
Objective To explore the anatomic characteristics of the bronchi, arteries, and veins of pulmonary segments on the coronal section. Methods Using serial coronal sections of thorax of 20 adult cadavers, multislice spiral CT images of 4 healthy volunteers, the segmental and subsegmental bronchi, arteries, and veins were traced and observed. Results There are 6 key sections for recognition of the segmental and subsegmental bronchovascular structures of the lungs on the coronal section:1.On the section through ascending aorta, the apical, lateral, apicoposterior, anterior, and superior lingular segmental veins appeared.2.On the section through pulmonary bifurcation, the left and right superior pulmonary veins can be seen under the pulmonary bifurcation. It appears on the coronal sections of 11 cadavers(55%) that apicoposterior segmental vein, anterior segmental vein, and lingular venous trunk drained into left superior pulmonary vein simultaneously.3.On the section through bifurcation of trachea, left and right superior lobar bronchi and their branches are demonstrated clearly.Under the bifurcation of trachea,it can be seen that left and right inferior pulmonary veins empty them into left atrium.4.On the section through intermediate bronchus, the origins of segmental bronchi, arteries, and veins of inferior lobes of bilateral lungs can be found.5.On the section through thoracic aorta, superior segmental and lateroposterior basal segmental bronchovasclature appeared mainly.6.On the section through spinal column, the inferior lobes of bilateral lungs shows the bronchi, arteries, and veins of superior, lateral basal, and posterior basal segments mainly. Conclusions The pulmonary segmental arteries and veins can be recognized exactly by tracing bronchi carefully on the coronal section.
5.Progress in Treatment of Bronchial Asthma with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2008;30(6):465,473-
The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has good results in treating asthma at remission stage, treating childhood bronchial asthma, and daily nursing. The western medicine usually takes the therapeutic methods of inhaling aerosol drugs, using anti-inflammatory drugs and undertaking interventional therapy, which have good results in relieve symptoms rapidly, dealing with emergent and severe onset of bronchial asthma and treating complications. The integration of these two medicines can cooperate with each other and exert good therapeufc effects.
6.Correlation Analysis of the Patients with End Stage Renal Disease and Antibiotics Encephalopathy after Giv-ing Ceftazidime
China Pharmacy 2015;26(36):5083-5084
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the correlation of patients with end stage renal disease(ESRD)and antibiotics encepha-lopathy after giving ceftazidime. METHODS:Data of 20 ESRD patients with antibiotics encephalopathy were retrospectively ana-lyzed and included into observation group, and also 20 ESRD patients with no antibiotics encephalopathy were included into con-trol group. Patients with no improved conditions in observation group were given hemodialysis associated with hemoperfusion after 2-5 days of ceftazidime withdrawal. The hemoglobin(Hb),albumin(Alb),serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN), total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),parathyroid hormone(PTH),use time and cumulative dose of ceftazidime in observa-tion group were detected and compared with control group. RESULTS:The age,use time and cumulative dose of ceftazidime in ob-servation group were significantly higher than control group,Alb level was lower than control group, the differences were statisti-cally significant(P<0.05). 19 patients in remission and 1 died in observation group. CONCLUSIONS:The antibiotic encephalopa-thy in ESRD patients has correlation with elderly, hypoalbuminemia, use time and cumulative dose of ceftazidime.
7.Mutual Benefit and Win-win:the Economic Ethical Basis of Harmonious Physician-patient Relationship
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(06):-
It was undoubted that doctor-patient relationship was becoming more and more worse, and this condition lead the doctors, patients, governments feel ve ry awkward.Every related side would be Faliures.Nowadays, the tensional doctor patient relationsh i p is a result of improper value choice and institutional arrangement in the back ground of market economy and high technology development.Building a harmonious doctor patient relationship and become double win is a key issue to affect medical service. It needs government, hospital, doctor and patient to work together. Therefore,we should promote the harmony of doctor-patient relationship in the respects of value choice and institutional arrangement. The action of benefiting others at the medical market includes benefiting for others unselfish and benefiting for others for self under the condition of market economy.Seeking patients' interests even at the expense of the professionals' own interests is the most essential moral criterion and professional obligation.
