The expression of transforming growth factor(TGF)-β supeffamily co-receptor (Tβ3R) Ⅲ is often lost in many kinds of cancers.Tβ3RⅢ plays a role of negative regulation in tumorigenesis.T3RⅢ could regulate the cellular invasion, migration, proliferation and apoptosis by multiple mechanisms, such as mediating the TGF-β signaling pathway, impacting the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and Cdc42 and producing soluble TβR(sTβR) Ⅲ.Defining the mechanisms of absence and physiological functions of TβR Ⅲ in cancers has great significant for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of cancer.

Autophagy is an important physiological process in eukaryotic cells and is contributive to normal update of cellular components. When the body is in hunger state, autophagy can not only produce amino acid and ATP through degrading proteins to provide conditions for cell survival, but also remove the damaged organelles to maintain the normal functions of cells. The abnormal functions of autophagy are closely related to the formation and development of tumors, and the degree which is too high or too low both can inhibit tumors. It has been found that autophagy is regulated by many kinds of molecules, and the results are different. So in-depth studies on the mechanisms of these autophagy-related molecules will become a starting point for further understanding the autophagy and a sally port for treating tumors.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(12):1137-1138
A case of pyogenic granuloma occurred in inferior turbinate was reported and the literatures were reviewed. A 32 years old male patient with left side progressive stuffy nose and repeated epistaxis. Nasal endoscopic examination showed a dark red neoplasm in left nasal cavity and blocked the anterior naris. Nasal cavity enhanced CT showed the neoplasm located in the front of left nasal cavity with marked enhancement. Bilateral sinuses were normal and there was no significant bone destruction. Nasal endoscopic surgery was performed under local anesthesia. Postoperative pathology report showed pyogenic granuloma (granulation tissue type of angioneoplasm).

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(01):-
Although breast feeding has long been proved to be the best way tor infant feeding, for many reasons, however, the number of breast-fed infants were always fewer than those of artiticially or mixed fed ones either in urban or in rural, e.g. it was found that only 35.7% of infants aged 4 months in Shanghai were breast-fed in 1980. Therefore manufacturing some kinds of humanized milk for improving infant nutrition seems necessary.A humanized milk powder was manufactured in Hongyuan Powdered Milk Factory. For testing its suitability for infant nutrition, a feeding experiment in infants was conducted in our laboratory in spring 1982.75 healthy babies aged 1-5 months were equally randomly assigned into three groups, i. e. humanized milk group, breast feeding group, and cow's milk group. The other food supplements except the milks were same in all groups. All the babies were subjected to anthropometric examination and blood hemoglobin determination before and after the 3 months' experimental period.Experimental results showed that there was no significant difference between the three groups either in growth and development or in blood hemoglobin level. In addition, Hongyuan humanized milk powder was also found to be more digestible and acceptable for the majority of the tested infants.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
In the present work the relative biological availability (RBA) of iron in the blood and the liver paste of swine has been studied by means of the hemoglobin regeneration technique in chickens. One day-old chickens were first made anemic on a low iron basal diet for 3 weeks, and were then divided into groups to which basal diets with various iron levels (10, 20, 40 ppm Fe) from different iron sources (ferrous sulfate reference standard, whole blood meal of swine and liver paste of swine) were subsequently fed respectively. After 16 days on test diets hemoglobin levels and hematocrit values in the blood of the chickens were measured. The chickens were then sacrificed for measurement of the iron concentration in their livers.Regression lines of each iron source were fitted by plotting final hemo- globin concentrations against the corresponding iron concentrations of the diet fed. Let the slope of the regression line from ferrous sulfate be 100, (i.e. relative bioavailability of ferrous sulfate), the RBA of the other 3 iron sources was as follows; processed whole blood meal of swine was 90.2; raw blood meal of swine 64.6; and the live paste of swine 78.4; but the differences between any two of them are statistically non-significant; i.e. their effects on hemoglobin regeneration are of the same extent.

Purpose To investigate the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) enhanced scanning in borderline and invasive ovarian tumor, and to provide valuable image evidence for clinical treatment.Materials and Methods One hundred and one patients with pathological-confirmed borderline and invasive ovarian tumor in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from October 2012 to October 2016 were selected, and the preoperative abdominal MSCT enhanced imaging, clinical and pathological data were retrospectively analyzed. The MSCT imaging was observed, and the prediction model of MSCT differentiating borderline and invasive ovarian tumor was established. Results The differences of onset age, menopausal status, tumor solid components, maximum diameter, septa and margin were all statistically significant between borderline and invasive ovarian tumor groups (P<0.05).The prediction model of MSCT differentiating borderline and invasive ovarian tumor was established using multivariate Logistic regression,on the basis of following variables (OR>l,P<0.05):tumor size, solid components and septa. The sensitivity and specificity of the prediction model were respectively 81.3% (95% CI:0.622-1.000) and 85.7% (95% CI:0.741-0.973) in predicting borderline ovarian tumor for patients before menopause, and respectively 92.1% (95% CI:0.835-1.000) and 91.7% (95% CI:0.761-1.000) for those after menopause. Conclusion MSCT enhanced scanning is helpful to differential diagnose of borderline and invasive ovarian tumor, and it has important significance for clinical treatment and prognosis evaluation.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(04):-
By tracing of ~(75)Se-Na_2SeO_3 incubating and irrigating of the isolated myocardial slices of rats, the numeric relationship between the free selenics in the serum and the serum sdenics, the sodium sdenite doses injected were observed; the absorption of the frce selenics and the serum selenics was compared; the setenics metabolic rate and quantities of the myocardial tissue in different duration after injecting of selcnite, the effect of selenics concentration to the participating were calculated, It is suggested that there is a very close relationship between the free selenics and the selenium metabolism in the myocardium; the ratio betwen the values of the free selenics and the serum selenics may become a stable indicator of the selenium metabolism; the free selenics in the serum may be where the important mediates of selenium metabolism are.
