1.Questions on Standard ofClassiifcation and Determination ofPhysical Constitutions in TCM
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(6):1305-1309
The standard ofClassificationandDetermination of Physical Constitutions in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which was issued by the China Association of TCM in 2009, has been promoted and implemented. However, we found that the criteria were inconsistent with the principles and methods of constitution classification in TCM after serious research. The features for physical constitution classification were repetitive and redundant without clear boundaries among them. Furthermore, there were poor correlations among different factors within a single physical constitution. Accordingly, it was suggested that the theory of physical constitutions in TCM should not be confused with and treated as the science of it. Because the standard ofClassiifcationandDetermination of Physical Constitutions in TCM is not mature enough, we should be cautious when applying it.
2.Study on the treatment rules of diabetes before Ming Dynasty
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(12):-
Objective:To approach the potential rules ofsyndrome differentiation and medication for diabetes by ancient medical scholars. Methods:By DBMS(Data Base Management System) ofPuji Fang, the information about diabetes and its correlated disease was collected, such as kinds ofthe drugs, application times ofdrugs and the number ofprescription. The qualitative analysis and quantitive analysis were used to ascertain the optimal and common used drugs and pairs ofdrugs for diabetes, and to deduce the potential indication ofdiabetes in ancient times. Results:The most optimal drugs used for diabetes in ancient times were DwarfLilyturfTuber, trichosanthis, Ginseng and Indian Bread. The common used pairs ofdrugs were DwarfLilyturfTuber and trichosanthis, DwarfLilyturfTuber and Ginseng, trichosanthis and Golden Thread, Ginseng and Indian Bread. So we can deduce that the potential indications ofdiabetes were impairment ofbody fluid by dry and heat, and deficiency ofboth qi and yin. Conclusion:By integrated logic analysis and statistical analysis, we can reveal the ancient treatment rule ofthe disease and it provided reference for clinic today.
3.Connotative evolution of the concept of Basic Theory of TCM
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(02):-
There was severe logical contradiction among the basic concepts in Chinese medicine such as syndrome, symptoms and signs, etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis .In this paper, from the comparative reseaech of the different versions of Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) used in higher colleges and universities of TCM in recent 50 years, higher Colleges of Chinese medicine materials, it cleared up the evolution of the basic connotation of syndrome, symptoms and signs, pathogens and pathogenesis, and revealed fundamental reason for the occurance of logical contradiction.
4.Exploration of Pathogenesis 19 of Suwen
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(06):-
Pathogenesis theory occupies an important position in TCM theoretical system. Suwen is the pioneer. Enriched by later generations, the traditional pathogenesis has been a significant change. It causes understandable bias to their initial implications and affects modern research. In this paper, based on Suwen's academic background,it discusses the composition, completeness and the basis to confirm Pathogenesis 19,offering some new ideas.

Objective:To study potential function of relieving-pain,calming and stopping bleeding function of astragali. Methods:To observe the effect of the water decoction of high, middle and low doses astragali on physical pain(hot plate method) and chemical-induced pain(writhing method)in mice reaction;the effect on the sleep durance of mouse which was applied under valve dosage of sodium pentobarbital and impact of blood coagulation in rats.It was compared with the blank control group,as well as the positive control group. Results:Astragali decoction can increase the pain threshold in mice, reduce the number of writhing in mice, enhance the volume of the role of sleep in mice on the threshold of sodium pentobarbital hypnosis, and extend the role of sodium pentobarbital hypnosis time.At the same time can shorten the prothrombin time and partial thromboplastin time, and increase fibrinogen. Conclusion:Astragali had definite relieving-pain,calming and stopping bleeding function. This result was consistent with the analysis conclusions through ancient prescriptions database with astragali.

To investigate the relationship between diabetes and its names in ancient times by analytical method of medical theory, comparison of medication rules and statistical analysis method. And then foundation will be established for exploring the ancient treatment rules of diabetes. The comparison and mutual reference of the above three methods can reveal disease essence and their mutual relationship in the different levels, which had an important technology signifi cance.

ObjectiveTo analyze the literature characteristics on essential hypertension treated by external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, summarize the current research situation and trend in the field, and to provide a reference for relative researches.MethodsThe papers relevant to treatingessential hypertension with external therapy of TCM included inSinoMedwere statistically analyzed from the aspects of publishing year, journals distribution, author’s unit and districtdistribution, research funds and literature content with bibliometrics method.ResultsThe total number of the literature for analyzing was 226, the number of papers increased gradually.Authors of the papers were mainly from TCM universities or colleges.Papersdistributedmainly in the more economically developed regions, which issued the largest amountinGuangdongprovince.Papers supported by research funds accounted for 16.81% in all the literature. Most literaturewasclinical research and the most commonly used for external therapywasacupuncture.ConclusionThe research and clinical work of essential hypertension treatment with external therapy of traditional Chinese medicinewerepaid more close attention in recent years, but therewerestill some problems that need to be solvedto form a viable, effective treatment system.

Objective To construct the permanent colostomy patients with rectal cancer in archives information module content. Methods Using expert meeting,semi- structured interview, literature review, Delphi expert consultation method, establish the system of permanent rectal cancer patients file information specific module. Results In two- round consultation authority coefficient was 0.847. Kendall coordination coefficient (Kendall′s W) was 0.195-0.331, the difference had statistical significance (P<0.01); through the expert consultation method to construct the file information module for permanent colostomy patients with rectal cancer, which contained 4 first-level indicators (colostomy patient information module, stoma nursing modules, stoma patients transitional care modules, colostomy patients with network platform module), 11 secondary indicators, 36 third grade indicators. Conclusions This study established file information module content for permanent stoma patients with rectal cancer. It has good scientificity and reliability, and can provide a theoretical basis for the clinical development of a file information system network for transitional care of permanent stoma patients with rectal cancer.

BACKGROUND:It is particularly important to establish an ideal animal model of pulmonary fibrosis to investigate the underlying pathogenesis and screen effective drugs to prevent and control pulmonary fibrosis. OBJECTIVE: To establish a modified scheme of establishing mouse models that can reflect pulmonary fibrosis formation in humans. METHODS: Fifty-six male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into two groups: A (a single large-dose injection) and B (multiple smal-dose injections). Mice in group A were subjected to a single intravenous injection of bleomycin 200 mg/kgviathe tail vein; and mice in group B received intravenous injections of bleomycin 50 mg/kg via the tail vein per week, totaly for 6 weeks.
