Objective To analyze the clinical application value of the critical value reporting system.Methods The data record-ings of the critical values reported by the clinical laboratory department from Nov.2013 to May.2014 were inquired through the clinical laboratory information management system(LIS).The incidence rate of the critical values,receipt time of the critical values, items and department distribution were analyzed.Results A total of 1856 items of critical value were reported.The occurrence rate of the critical values was 0.31%.The top 5 of critical value numbers according to the item distribution were white blood cells (46.28%),total bilirubin (16.92%),D-dimer (9.81%),hemoglobin(8.51%)and platelets (8.03%).According to the depart-ments distribution,the top 3 departments with maximal reported critical values were the neonatal department (37.12%),followed by the department of gynecological oncology(23.33%)and the obstetrical department (21.17%).Conclusion The critical value reporting system plays an important role in the obstetrics and gynecology hospital.It should be evaluated and analyzed regularly.

Objective To explore the application of comfort care in loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) in treatment of chronic cervicitis.Methods 130 patients who used LEEP to treat chronic cervicitis were collected from June to December 2011 in our Hospital,then they were randomly divided into the observation group (68 cases) and the control group (62 cases).The observation group used comfort care and the control group used general nursing.The effects of care,operation time,bleeding volume,anxiety and pain degree of the two groups were compared.Results The effect of care in the observation group was superior to the control group.Compared with the control group,the operation time was shortened,the amount of bleeding was decreased,the degree of anxiety and pain was obviously relieved.Conclusions Comfort care can improve the degree of comfort of the patients who used LEEP to treat chronic cervicitis,and is conducive to the rehabilitation of the disease.

Objective To evaluate prove the clinical efficacy of anti HBV therapeutic vaccine in the treatment of chronic HBV carriers. Methods 600 patients diagnosed as chronic HBV carrier based on the criteria formulated by the National Conference of Viral Hepatitis in 1997 were enrolled for the study. The patients were randomly assigned into 2 groups. In the first group, 300 patients were given anti HBV therapeutic vaccine subcutaneously once a month, tagether with vitamin C 500mg p o. once a day for 12 months. Patients in the second group received normal saline 2 ml/month by subcutaneous injection and vitamin C 500mg/day p o. for 12months. There were no significant deferences in the age, sex, duration of the illness and the positive rate of serum HBV markers between the 2 groups. At the week 12, 24 and 48 after treatment, the patients were reexamined in the hospital. Serum HBsAg, HBeAg, HBV DNA, anti HBe, anti HBs and ALT were assayed before the treatment and at week 12, 24 and 48 during the course of the therapy. The efficacy of the treatment was evaluated on basis of the results of the assessment of parameters described above at week 48. After completion of the treatment, 208 patients in the treatment group and 196 cases in the control group were followed up for 12 months, and serum HBV markers were checked at the 12th month. The changes in HBV markers during the follow up study were analysed to evaluate the sustained effect after the therapy was ceased. Objective To find out some ways to solve the problems which are dealing with the clinical application of intrafix.Methods From February to May 2013,324 patients with back blood using intrafix in emergency department were randomly assigned to the experimental group A and the control group A,with 162 patients in each group.The experimental group A used the method of pressing pipe while pulling out the needles when transfusion was over,while the control group A used traditional ways.206 patients who occurred bubbles in the intrafix among the above two groups were divided into the experimental group B and the control group B.The experimental group B got rid of the bubbles using top-down method,the control group B used traditional ways.The effect of withdrawing the needles and exhaustion of bubbles were compared.The least flushing time of remaining liquid using transfusion pipe flushing method was calculated.Results The experimental group A and the experimental group B were better in withdrawing the needles and exhaustion of bubbles compared with those of the control group A and the control group B.Using the method of drop coefficient to calculate the least flushing time can ensure the drug to be transfused into the body thoroughly.Conclusions When transfusion is over,pressing intrafix pipe will have a better result than the traditional way when pulling out the pipe.Top-down method can clearly settle the problem of intrafix pipe,which can not get rid of bubble via traditional way.Flushing pipe and press pipe method can apparently decrease drug waste.

Objective To investigate the expressions of insulin-like growth factor receptor-1 (IGF-1R) and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (1GFBP-3) and their correlations with clinicopathological parameters in the primary colon cancer,as well as their roles in lymph node metastasis of colon cancer.Methods The expressions of IGF-1R and IGFBP-3 in 78 cases of colon cancer tissues and 78 cases of normal colon mucosa tissues were detected by SP immunohistochemical technology and the correlations between the expressions and the clinical pathological parameters of colon cancer were analyzed.Results The positive rate of IGF-1R in colon cancer (66.7％,52/78) was significantly higher than that in control group (24.4％,19/78),x2 =28.150,P =0.000.The positive rate of IGFBP-3 in colon cancer (73.1％,57/78) was significantly lower than that in control group (89.7％,70/78),x2 =7.158,P =0.007.IGF-1R expression in colon cancer was significantly correlated with the invasion (x2 =5.804,P =0.016),TNM stage (x2 =5.246,P =0.022) and lymph node metastasis (x2 =12.955,P =0.000).IGFBP-3 expression in colon cancer was signi-ficantly correlated with the TNM stage (x2 =7.096,P=0.008),lymph node metastasis (x2 =5.893,P =0.015) and distant metastasis (P =0.003).Both with other factors had no significant correlation (P ＞ 0.05).1GF-1R expression and IGFBP-3 expression showed a negative correlation (r =-0.245,P =0.03).Conclusion The over expression of IGF-1R and low expression of IGFBP-3 are associated with TNM stage and lymph node metastasis in colon cancer.IGF-1R and IGFBP-3 may become new targets of the treatment of colon cancer.

A 54-kDa protein overexpressed by chloroquine-resistant Plasmodium berghei ANKA strain was first reported by us. In this paper, the localization of this protein by immunoelec-tron microscopy is presented. The results showed that the protein was mainly scattered inside the cytoplasm of the early date trophozoites and schizonts of erythrocytic stage of P. berghei ANKA strain , and some of it was also found in cytoplasm of erythrocytes infected with parasites. The protein content was much higher in chloroquine-resistant P. berghei ANKA strain than in chloroquine-sensitive P. berghei ANKA strain, suggesting the importance of this protein in understanding mechanism of chloroquine resistance in malaria parasites .

Objective To study the value of laparoscope in the diagnosis and treatment of high cryptorchidism. Methods 21 testes in 19 patients were performed by intraperitoneal exploration and cryptorchidopexy. Results The testes of 11 cases were located in inferior extremity of kidneys and the ones of 8 cases in superior part of internal rings.15 testes were fixed in the bottom of scrotums and 4 ones in abdominal cavity for secondary operation; absent testis was found in 1 case; 1 testis was removed due to testis dysplasia. Scrotum emphysema and hematoma occurred in 3 and 1 patients respectively. Wounds of 19 cases healed well postoperatively. 15 patients had been followed up for (3～10) months with an average of 6 months and they recovered well. Conclusions The diagnosis and treatment of high cryptorchidism by means of laparoscope has the advantages of minimal invasion, less bleeding, quicker recovery and no serious complications.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of ascorbic acid on myocardium from ischemia and reperfusion injury and its electrophysiological mechanism. Methods Using modified Ferrier's arrhythmia induced by ischemia and reperfusion injury in isolated guinea pig right ventricular wall. Results Ascorbic acid at 5, 10, 50 and 100μmol/L slightly decrease incidence of ischemia arrhythmia (P ＞ 0. 05). In contrast, ascorbic acid at 10, 50 and 100μmol/L significantly reduced the incidence of arrhythmia during early reperfusion(2～12min) (P ＜ 0. 01 or P ＜ 0. 001). Ascorbic acid at 5～ 100μmol/L didn't reverse the abbrevating of APD of endocardium and epicardium and didn't affect the conduction time in endocardium (P ＞ 0. 05). However, ascorbic acid abbreviated epicardial conduc tion time significantly (P ＜ 0. 05 or P ＜ 0. 01 or P ＜ 0. 001 ). Conclusion The study suggests that ascorbic acid might exert antiarrhythmic effect via alleviating conduction abnormity to avoid transmural reentries during ischemia and early reperfusion.

The paper reported two methods. a genetic probe and the solid phase radio-immunological assay, for the detection of the thermolabile toxin produced by Escherichia coli. The former is the application of a 32P-IabelIed probe of B subunit DNA prepared from Hind Ⅲ restriction fragment of LT-encoding DNA. and the latter is by using CNBr-activated paper as carrier and 125I-SPA to substitute the secondary antibody. Applying the methods to 160 strains of E. coli isolated from patients suffering from infantile diarrhea, the results showed that 42 out of 160 strains belong to the strain which produces the thormolabile toxin. These two methods not only have the advantages of being sensitive and specific, but also are beneficial favourable to the epidemiological survey and clinical diagnosis, because the testing bacteria are decomposed on the nitrocellulose membrane, so that hundreds of samples can be examined in one test.
