The measurement of pressure between tongue and the hard palate during swallowing is an evaluation method which is noninvasive and accurately quantitative. This article reviewed the measurement of tongue pressure, the changes of pressure in different poses, bolus types and people, as well as the prediction of dysphagia according to tongue pressure.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(9):593-597
OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the therapeutic effect of multi-plane operations in treating obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).
METHOD:
One hundred and fifteen patients with OSAHS diagnosed by polysomnography were treated with uvuplopalatopharyngoplasty. Eighteen of them were treated combining with nasal septal construction. Twenty six patients also received nasal septal construction and partial inferior turbinectomy. One patients also received Genioglossus advancement and partial resection of corpus linguae. Five patients also received partial resection of corpus linguae. Some patients with the nasal disease and/or the lingual hypertrophy; AHI > 40 and/or BMI > 30 are received tracheotomy before general anaesthesia.
RESULT:
According to the postoperative follow-up 43 patients, were cured, 46 patients were improved, 26 patients were invalid, the effective power was 77.4%.
CONCLUSION
The operative effective power were increased by multi-plane operations in OSAHS patients. The serious complication were prevented through tracheotomy before general anaesthesia in multi-plane operations of severe OSAHS.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(9):600-602,606
Objective Toinvestigatetheexpressionof SIRT1anditsassociationwith clinicopathologic features in breast carcinoma with type 2 diabetes mellitus.MethodsThe expression of SIRT1 in 30 breast cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus,65 samples of breast cancer without diabetes mellitus and 18 samples of corresponding normal breast tissues was investigated using immunohistochemistry.ResultsThe positive rate of SIRT1 in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that breast cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus and normal breast tissue (P <0.05). In breast cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus group. The positive rate of SIRT1 was significantly higher than that normal breast tissue(P <0.05).The expression of SIRT1 was positively correlated with the number of lymph node(P =0.011),pTNM tumor stage (P =0.028), p53 (P =0.003) and Her-2 (P =0.031) in breast cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus group. The expression level of SIRT1 in lymph node-positive group was higher than that in lymph node-negative group (P <0.05).The expression level of SIRT1 was in lymph node-positive group was higher than that in lymph node-negative group(P <0.05).ConclusionSIRTI was up-regulated in breast cancer with type 2 diabetes mellitus, but its expression was lower than that breast cancer without diabetes mellitus, and was associated with the progression of diabetes mellitus. SIRT1 was positively correlated with lymph node, pTNM tumor stage,p53 and Her-2, SIRT1 may be a novel biological parameter to evaluate the malignant degree of breast carcinoma and to predict prognosis of breast cancer.

T lymphocyte subpopulation and level of soluble interleuckin 2 receptor in peripheral bloodand serum of primary hepatocellular carcinoma and donor were tested. The results show that de-crease of T lymphocyte subpopulations is related with increase of level of soluble interleuckin2 re-ceptor in patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma.

OBJECTIVETo study the clinical effect of early rehabilitation combined with abdomen needle therapy for the motor function and psychological obstacle of stroke based on the western medical treatment.
METHODSNinety patients with acute stroke were randomly divided into an observation group A,an observation group B and a control group, 30 cases in each group. Conventional western medical treatment and early rehabilitation for the affected limbs wete applied in the three groups for one month. Besides, abdomen needle therapy was used on Qihai(CV 6),Guanyuan(CV 4),Tianshu(ST 25),Daheng(SP 15),Huaroumen(ST 24),Wailing(ST 26),andin the observation group A. The needles were retained for 20 min without activity of the affected limbs. Based on the treatment as the group A,early rehabilitation was adopted in the observation group B. All treatment was given once a day,and 10 times were taken as a course. Three courses were required with two days at the interval. Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA),Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD) and China stroke scale(CSS) were used before and after treatment.
RESULTSScores of FMA、HAMA、HAMD and CSS after treatment were improved than those before treatment in the three groups(all<0.05). All the above scores of the two observation groups were better than those of the control group(all<0.05). The scores of HAMA and HAMD of the observation group B were superior to those of the observation group A(both<0.05).
CONCLUSIONSConventional treatment combined with abdomen needle therapy can improve the motor function and the psychological obstacle of stroke, and the effect is better than that of the conventional treatment. Early rehabilitation based on the two therapeutic methods can help relieve psychological status.

Objective:To study the clinical and genetic characteristics of Gitelman syndrome in children. Methods:Four children diagnosed with Gitelman syndrome in the Baoding Children′s Hospital from January 2017 to October 2018 were enrolled, and their clinical data and pathogenic gene carrying status were analyzed. Results:There were 2 males and 2 females in the enrolled patients. Two children complained of short stature and 2 children were diagnosed as hypokalemia by accident. All the 4 children showed constipation, short stature, repeated hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypochloremia, normal urinary calcium/creatinine ratio, elevated renin and angiotensin Ⅱ levels in supine position, and normal aldosterone.Three children had hypomagnesemia and 1 child had a normal blood magnesium level. All of the 4 children had a compound heterozygous mutation of SLC12A3 gene. The mutations of c. 1670-7G>A and c. 1698C>A were not reported in the literature. Conclusions:Constipation and short stature are common clinical manifestations of Gitelman syndrome in children.Typical cases show hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia, hyponatremia and hypochloremia, etc.The blood magnesium level can be normal in few children. Most children with Gitelman syndrome carry SLC12A3 compound heterozygous mutations.
