Objective To investigate the application value of low kilovolt technique combined with lower contrast in the head and neck angiography by the second-generation dual source CT.Methods From October 2013 to January 2015,120 patients undergoing head and neck computed tomography angiography (CTA) were randomly divided into groups A,B,C,D.Each group was given a different tube current and different dose of contrast agent and saline solution 50 ml.Group A received current 100 mA and contrast agent 50 ml,group B received current 100 mA and contrast agent 40 ml,group C received current 80 mA and contrast agent 50 ml,and group D received current 80 mA and contrast agent 40 ml.CT values of aortic arch,bilateral common carotid artery bifurcation,double sided M1 segment of middle cerebral artery,basilar artery enhanced degree of the straight sinus were measured in each group.Residual artifacts caused by contrast agent in brachiocephalic vein and subclavian vein were observed.5-score method was used to assess the quality of reconstructed image,and the radiation exposure dose was calculated.Results The mean effective dose was reduced by 29％ in group C as compared with group A [(0.53±0.17) mGy vs.(0.74±0.04) mGy].There was no significant difference in developing strength in cerebral arteries angiography between group C and group A (P=0.247),but the inage noise was slightly larger in group C than group A,without significant differences (P=0.203).The average effective dose in group A was almost the same as that in group B [(0.74 ± 0.04) mGy vs.(0.73 ± 0.05) mGy].Structure display of cerebral arteries on CT volume rendering (VR) and multiplane reformation (MPR) images had no significant differences between group A and group B (P=0.114).The average effective dose in group C was almost the same as that in group D[(0.53 ± 0.17) mGy vs.(0.53 ±0.01) mGy].Structure display of cerebral arteries on CT volume rendering (VR) and muhiplane reformation (MPR) images had no significant differences between group C and group D (P=0.109).The mean effective dose was reduced by 28％ in group D as compared with group B[(0.53±0.01)mGy vs.(0.73±0.05) mGy].There was no significant difference in developing strength in cerebral arteries angiography between group C and group A (P=0.236),but the image noise was sligbtly larger in group C than group A (P =0.212).Conclusions Application of low tube current combined with low concentration of contrast agent in the head and neck dual-source CT angiography is feasible in clinical diagnosis,with good clinical value.It can not only get better image quality,but also meet the needs of clinical diagnosis.

Objective:To summarize the clinicopathologia and imaging features of Hemiballism-hemichorea induced by hyperglycemia and increase the understanding of the disease and improve the accuracy of diagnosis. Methods:The imaging images and clinical manifestation of 5 cases Hemiballism-hemichorea induced by hyperglycemia were analyzed retrospectively. The disease pathogenesis and mechanism relating to the Characteristic neuroradiological findings was obtained by literature review. Results:The common clinical manifestation of Hemiballism-hemichorea induced by hyperglycemia is unilateral limb involuntary movements. CT scans typically show an area of hyperdensity in the basal ganglia and The characteristic finding on the T1-weighted MRI is high signal intensity in the contralateral putamen. Conclusion: Hemiballism-hemichorea induced by hyperglycemia is an unusual but important differential diagnosis in patients with particular neuroradiological findings as prompt diagnosis and treatment of hyperglycemia has an excellent prognosis. The correct diagnosis could be received through integrated the patient's past medical history, presentation, laboratory and imaging inspection into account.

This paper introduced the concept of accumulation-dispersing method and its theoretical basis as well as clinical application in the treatment of gland diseases. With three diseases, which were the Sjogren’s syndrome, cystic hyperplasia of breast and benign prostatic hyperplasia, as clues, common characteristics from etiology, pathology and pathogenesis were elaborated from the anatomical features, pathological characteristics and meridian pathways for the gland diseases. The disease pathogenesis always belonged to“mass” and“knot” of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The detailed clinical applications were as follows. For the pattern of blood stasis, the treatment principle was to promote blood circulation and to resolve masses. For the pattern of phlegm, the treatment principle was to reduce phlegm and to resolve masses. For the pattern of heat, the treatment principle was to clear heat, to relieve toxin and to resolve masses. For patients of“tumor” or“phthisis”, the treatment principle was to strengthen vitalqi and to eliminate stagnation. Worm medicine should also be combined during accumulation-dispersing. This paper provided referential ideas and methods for TCM treatment of gland diseases.

Objective To understand the perceptions of normal and ideal body size in registered nurses and nursing students,and to analyze the impacts of individual weight levels and misperception of body weight on their such cognitions.Methods A cross-sectional survey of 407 nursing students from two hospitals and 466 registered nurses from one hospital was conducted with the questionnaire survey.Sociodemographic information,actual weight,perceived weight levels and scores for figure rating scale were included.Results FRS scores for normal and ideal body size to male were significantly higher than to female either in registered nurses or in nursing students; FRS scores for ideal body size to both sexes were significantly lower than those for normal body size among registered nurses and nursing students.There were no statistically significant associations between FRS scores for normal and ideal body size and individuals' weight levels and misperceptions of body weight among registered nurses and nursing students.Conclusions There existed differences in rating female and male body size among registered nurses and nursing students,with “bigger” normal and ideal body sizes to male,Nurses preferred to “thinner” ideal body size in comparison to normal body size.

ObjectiveTo observe the influence of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) on collagen metabolism of normal human skin fibroblasts and its biological role in the formation of hypertrophic scar.Methods Fibroblasts were isolated and cultured in vitro,and then exposed to different doses of LPS (0.005,0.01,0.05,0.1,0.5,1.0 μg/ml) from E.coli.055:B5 respectively.The expression of proccllagen type Ⅰ,Ⅲand collagenase mRNAs was tested by RT -PCR.Fibroblasts from hypertrophic scar tissue obtained from the same patients in the same culture passage were used as control.ResultsCompared with control group,the expression of procollagen typeⅠ,Ⅲ mRNAs in normal skin fibroblasts increased (0.323 ± 0.041,0.303 ± 0.063,0.391 ± 0.071,0.344 ± 0.086,0.488 ± 0.059,0.401 ± 0.087,0.616 ± 0.107,0.434 ±0.084,0.823 ±0.092,0.542 ± 0.082),while the expression of collagenase mRNAs of normal skin fibroblasts depressed(0.598 ± 0.068,0.556 ± 0.049,0.441 ± 0.043,0.372 ± 0.083,0.260 ± 0.027 ).When LPS was set to the concentration of 0.005 μg/ml,it showed a concentration dependent manner.However,when the concentration of LPS was set to 0.5 μg/ml,the expression of procollagen type Ⅰ,Ⅲ and collagenase mRNAs of normal skin fibroblasts began to decrease (0.451 ± 0.063,0.374 ± 0.072,0.360 ± 0.062).When the concentration of LPS was set to 1.0 μg/ml,the expression of procollagen type Ⅰ,Ⅲ mRNAs (0.162 ± 0.025,0.171 ± 0.061 )were inhibited and the expression of collagenase mRNAs began to increase (0.444 ±0.114).When the concentration of LPS was set to 0.1 μg/ml,the expression of procollagen type Ⅰ,Ⅲ and collagenase mRNAs of normal skin fibroblasts(0.823 ±0.092,0.542 ±0.082,0.260 ±0.027)was similar to that of hypertrophic scar tissue fibroblasts(0.829 ±0.049,0.569 ±0.038,0.277 ±0.059).ConclusionsThis result supported that LPS may be an important factor in collagen metabolism of normal skin fibroblasts and it plays an important role in hypertrophic scar formation.

Objective:To observe and compare the clinical curative effect and safety of topiramate,carbamazepine and sodium valproate on the epilepsy secondary to encephalitis.Methods:80 cases of patients with epilepsy secondary to encephalitis who were treated in our hospital from January 2010 to September 2015 were selected and divided into the topiramate group,carbamazepine group and sodium valproate group,which were treated with topiramate,carbamazepine and sodium valproate respectively.The treatment effect,congnitive scores (including executive function and visual space,name,language,abstract,attention,delayed memory,directional),adverse reaction rate of three groups were compared.Results:The effective rate oftopiramate group was the highest(80.65％,25/31),carbamazepine was the lowest (70.00％,21/30),but there was no significant difference between the three groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the scores of executive ability and visual spatial,naming,abstraction,attention,orientation,language in topiramate group were significantly higher than those of carbamazepine group and sodium valproate group (P＜0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions of topiramate group was 12.90％,which was significantly lower than that of carbamazepine group (36.67％) and sodium valproate group (29.62％)(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions:Topiramate,carbamazepine and sodium valproate have equal therapeutic effect on epilepsy secondary to encephalitis,but topiramate had less adverse reactions and best safety.

Objective To investigate the protective effects of leptin on neonatal seizure in rats by behavioral tests and Bcl2 expression.Methods Twenty Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were divided into four groups:control group,leptin group,RS group and RS+leptin group on postnatal day 6 (P6),5 rats in each group.From P6 to P12,repeated neonatal seizure model was induced by flurothyl in RS and RS+leptin group rats.From P13 to P22,leptin (2 mg · kg-1 · day-1) was administered by intraperitoneal injection in leptin group and RS+leptin group rats.Forelimb hanging test and open field test were implemented on P30.Bcl2 expression was detected by western blot on P34.Results (1) Neurobehavioral tests:the time of forelimb suspension in RS group((7.10± 1.02) s)was significantly shorter (P＜0.05) than the control group((15.95± 6.11)s) and the time of forelimb suspension in RS+leptin group((13.90±2.64) s)was significant longer (P ＜0.05) than the RS group.In open field test,the number of horizontal movement in RS group (119.80± 28.83) was significantly reduced (P＜0.05) than that in the control group(191.00±37.27) and the number of horizontal movement in RS+leptin group(164.20±26.46) was increased than that in the RS group,but the difference was not significant.The number of modification and stool in RS group was significantly increased (P＜0.05) than that in the control group and the number of modification and stool in RS+leptin group was significantly reduced (P＜0.05) than that in the RS group.(2)Western blot:the expression of Bcl2 in RS group (0.24±0.07),leptin group(0.89±0.09) and RS+leptin group(0.56±0.07) was significantly decreased compared with control group(1.02±0.01) (P＜0.05),and the expression of Bcl2 in RS +leptin group was significantly increased compared with RS group (P＜0.05).Conclusion Leptin improves the brain injury induced by flurothyl on neonatal rats by Bcl2 signaling pathway.

Objective To explore the relationships among pulmonary function,DVH and acute radiation pneumonitis after three-dimensional conformal radiation treatment in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer.MethodsPulmonary function tests were conducted on 68 inoperable patients (male 42,female 26,median age 52,KPS≥80) before and after three months radiotherapy respectively.After 3 months of follow-up,radiation pneumonitis were graded,and V20,V30 and MLD were derived from dose volume histogram (DVH).ResultsAll patients were treated with radiotherapy at the irradiation dose of 60～70Gy.Acute radiation pneumonitis occurred in 24 patients with 11 Grade Ⅰ,7 Grade Ⅱ,3 Grade Ⅲ,3 Grade Ⅳ.There were no significant difference between the pre-irradiation and the three months after irradiation for FVC (P＞0.05).But there were significant different between pre-irradiation and three months after irradiation for FEV1.0 and DLCO (P＜0.05).V20,V30 and MLD were observed in patients treated with high radiation pneumonitis.ConclusionsThere were close relationships among pulmonary function,DVH and radiation pneumonitis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer.
