Eucalyptus globulus can pbviously reduce edematous swelling of ear,inhibit the proliferation of granuloma,and blood capillary permeability of mice. It can also obviously inhibit cotton pellet granuloma implanted inrats. It has obvious anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect on arthritis in rat induced by carrageenan and painreaction in mice induced by Woolfe-Macdonald as well as HAc-induced writhing.

OBJECTIVE: To study the anti-lipid peroxidation action of Rosa davurica Pall. fruit. METHODS: The contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) of the tissue homogenate of the liver, heart, kidney, brain and of the red blood cells induced by hydrogen peroxide in mice were measured. The contents of MDA and the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) of ischemic myocardium of mice were measured. RESULTS: 0.2 g/L Rosa davurica Pall. fruit could decrease significantly the contents of MDA of the all tissue (P < 0.05). Inhibition rate of 6.7 g/L Rosa davurica Pall. fruit on MDA of the red blood cells induced by hydrogen peroxide was 89.2%. Administration of this extraction successively for six days (ig, 2.0 g x kg(-1) x d(-1)) can significantly reduce the content of MDA (P < 0.01) and augment the activities of SOD and GHS-Px (P < 0.05) in the ischemic myocardium of mice. CONCLUSION: Rosa davurica Pall. fruit can significantly prevent the lipid peroxidation.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the therapeutic effect of endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR) for gastric stromal tumors.MethodsA total of 33 patients with gastric stromal tumor orgination from deep muscularis propria layer received EFTR from January 2010 to July 2011.The effectiveness and safety of EFTR were compared with those of other 34 patients with gastric stromal tumor origination from muscularis propria layer who underwent endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).ResultsExcept in 2 patients with lesions larger than 3.0 × 3.0 cm,EFTR was successful in others 31 patients,who recovered well and had no recurrence during the follow-up within 12 months.There were no significant differences in resection rate,incidence of complications,body temperature,white blood cell counts or recovery time between 2 procedures (P ＞ 0.05 ).However,the number of clips used in EFTR ( 7.0 ± 3.5 vs.4.9 ± 3.1,P =0.013 ) and postoperative fasting days (3.4 ± 1.5 vs.2.0 ± 1.0,P =0.001 ) were significantly higher than those of ESD procedures.ConclusionEFTR is effective and safe for gastric stromal tumors with no higher risk than ESD,but it is more complex technically.EFTR can be used as an expanding method of ESD in endoscopic treatment of gastric stromal tumors.

Objective To explore the relationship between the expression of transcription factor ⅡB-related factor 1 (Brf1) and the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods Collected 96 cases of NSCLC Surgical specimens and clinical data of patients from January 2013 to August 2015 in our hospital.First of all,we compared the expression of Brf1 in NSCLC tissues and adjacent lung tissues by Western blot and RT-qPCR.Then,Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of Brf1 in NSCLC tissues,and analysis of the relationship between Brf1 expression level and clinical case characteristics.Survival curves were plotted using the Kaplan-Meier method and Log-rank test and multivariate Coxv regression analysis were performed.Results Western blot and RT-qPCR results showed that the expression of Brf1 in NSCLC tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent lung tissues (P ＜0.01).The positive expression rate of Brf1 in 96 cases of NSCLC was 72.9％.The Brf1 expression level was higher in the poorly differentiated group than in the moderately-highly differentiated group(Mean Rank 62.33 ＞ 43.89,Z =-2.914,P =0.004),and the lymph node metastasis group was higher than the non-metastasis group(Mean Rank 60.34 ＞ 42.58,Z =-3.055,P =0.002),which was independent of patient gender,age,smoking status,tumor size,TNM stage,and pathological type (P ＞0.05).Single-factor survival analysis by Log-rank test showed that the survival rate of Brf1 positive expression group was lower than that of the negative group (x2 =7.560,P ＜0.01).Multivariate analysis of Cox regression model found that Brf1 positive expression (HR =2.043,95％ CI:1.082-3.860) was an independent observational index that affects the prognosis of patients with NSCLC.Conclusion Brf1 is overexpressed in NSCLC tissues,and Brf1 negative expression has a good clinical prognosis,suggesting that Brf1 may be one of the indicators of malignant degree and prognosis of NSCLC.

Modulating Tankyrases (TNKS), interactions with USP25 to promote TNKS degradation, rather than inhibiting their enzymatic activities, is emerging as an alternative/specific approach to inhibit the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Here, we identified UAT-B, a novel neoantimycin analog isolated from Streptomyces conglobatus, as a small-molecule inhibitor of TNKS-USP25 protein-protein interaction (PPI) to overcome multi-drug resistance in colorectal cancer (CRC). The disruption of TNKS-USP25 complex formation by UAT-B led to a significant decrease in TNKS levels, triggering cell apoptosis through modulation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Importantly, UAT-B successfully inhibited the CRC cells growth that harbored high TNKS levels, as demonstrated in various in vitro and in vivo studies utilizing cell line-based and patient-derived xenografts, as well as APC^min/+ spontaneous CRC models. Collectively, these findings suggest that targeting the TNKS-USP25 PPI using a small-molecule inhibitor represents a compelling therapeutic strategy for CRC treatment, and UAT-B emerges as a promising candidate for further preclinical and clinical investigations.

Objective To explore the influencing factors of hyperlipidemia in 18-80 years old in Ningxia by structural equation model, and to analyze the direct and indirect effects of influencing factors of hyperlipidemia, so as to provide a basis for the formulation of prevention and treatment measures. Methods A total of 925 patients with hyperlipidemia from a chronic disease survey in 4 counties of Ningxia in April 2017 were selected as the case group (n=925), and residents without hyperlipidemia matched by sex and age were selected as the control group (n=925). A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the two groups of subjects. SPSS 22.0 software was used to conduct single factor T or Z test or χ² test for the possible influencing factors of hyperlipidemia, and Amos22.0 was used to construct structural equation model. Results The structural equation model showed that physiological condition had the greatest effect on hyperlipidemia, and the standardized regression coefficient was -0.351. The second was the monitoring of three key blood indicators (three-high indicators), and the total effect value was 0.082, while personal condition and dietary status had no direct influence on the prevalence of hyperlipidemia. Conclusion Physiological status is the most important factor affecting the prevalence of hyperlipidemia in 18 ~ 80 years old in Ningxia, followed by the monitoring of the three-high indicators. In the future, residents should be encouraged to strengthen health management, especially people with overweight, high uric acid, high blood glucose and hypertension, to control the level of blood lipids and reduce the incidence of hyperlipidemia.

Objective To investigate the distribution and antimicrobial resistance profiles of the common pathogens isolated from urine from 2015 to 2021 in the CHINET Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Program.Methods The bacterial strains were isolated from urine and identified routinely in 51 hospitals across China in the CHINET Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Program from 2015 to 2021.Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined by Kirby-Bauer method,automatic microbiological analysis system and E-test according to the unified protocol.Results A total of 261 893 nonduplicate strains were isolated from urine specimen from 2015 to 2021,of which gram-positive bacteria accounted for 23.8％(62 219/261 893),and gram-negative bacteria 76.2％(199 674/261 893).The most common species were E.coli(46.7％),E.faecium(10.4％),K.pneumoniae(9.8％),E.faecalis(8.7％),P.mirabilis(3.5％),P.aeruginosa(3.4％),SS.agalactiae(2.6％),and E.cloacae(2.1％).The strains were more frequently isolated from inpatients versus outpatients and emergency patients,from females versus males,and from adults versus children.The prevalence of ESBLs-producing strains in E.coli,K.pneumoniae and P.mirabilis was 53.2％,52.8％and 37.0％,respectively.The prevalence of carbapenem-resistant strains in E.coli,K.pneumoniae,P.aeruginosa and A.baumannii was 1.7％,18.5％,16.4％,and 40.3％,respectively.Lower than 10％of the E.faecalis isolates were resistant to ampicillin,nitrofurantoin,linezolid,vancomycin,teicoplanin and fosfomycin.More than 90％of the E.faecium isolates were ressitant to ampicillin,levofloxacin and erythromycin.The percentage of strains resistant to vancomycin,linezolid or teicoplanin was＜2％.The E.coli,K.pneumoniae,P.aeruginosa and A.baumannii strains isolated from ICU inpatients showed significantly higher resistance rates than the corresponding strains isolated from outpatients and non-ICU inpatients.Conclusions E.coli,Enterococcus and K.pneumoniae are the most common pathogens in urinary tract infection.The bacterial species and antimicrobial resistance of urinary isolates vary with different populations.More attention should be paid to antimicrobial resistance surveillance and reduce the irrational use of antimicrobial agents.
