Objective To investigate the application of the parenteral nutrition prescriptions for tumor patients in a tertiary hospital .Methods In this cross-sectional study , the parenteral nutrition prescriptions of all tumor inpatients in a tertiary hospital were collected from May to June in 2015 .The general data of patients who had used parenteral nutrition , the types of parenteral nutrition products , as well as the ratio of energy to ni-rogen ( E/N) , glucose/lipid ( G/L) ratio, non-protein energy to nitrogen ratio , and liquid volume were recor-ded and analyzed .Results Parenteral nutrition prescriptions were collected from 528 patients and showed high irrationality.The nutrient insufficiency rate was nearly 58.3%.The E/N (100:1 ~200:1) accounted for 32.3%and the G/L ( 1:1 ~2:1 ) 20.6%.Conclusions The rational application of parenteral nutrition should be a priority in clinical settings .A clinical nutrition supporting team may be established in tertiary hospi-tals to guide the appropriate use of parenteral nutrition .

Objective To study the effects of As_2O_3 on tumor model of hepatocarcinoma.Methods HepAgrafed hepatocarcinoma mouse model was established by subcutaneously injection of mouse hepatoma cells(1×10~6)into the oxter of mice.After treated by As_2O_3,the volume change of tumor and tumor inhibition rates were observed.The expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) was detected by immunohistochemical and calculated the difference of MVD.Results The volume of tumor and the tumor inhibition rates were significantly decreased in As_2O_3 group compared with control group(P<0.05).The As_2O_3 could inhibit angiogenesis of xenograft tumor,depress expression of VEGF and decrease microvascular density(MVD).Conclusion As_2O_3 can inhibit the growth of tumor,inhibit the expression of VEGF and decrease MVD.

[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVETo investigate the phoenix roebelenii pollen as the allergen of allergic rhinitis in Hainan Province and provide guidance for prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitits.METHODSA total of 2054 patients with allergic rhinitis were tested with the allergen of phoenix roebelenii pollen by skin prick test, and then choose 30 positive cases to give the nasal mucosa provocation test. RESULTSThe total positive rate of allergen of phoenix roebelenii pollen by skin prick test was 67.38% (1384/2054). The 30 cases with positive skin prick test were all positive in nasal mucosa provocation test and the cases in control group were all negative.CONCLUSIONPhoenix roebelenii pollen is an important allergen in Hainan Province. There is a correlation between skin prick test and nasal mucosa provocation test. The allergen skin prick test can provide clue for the patients to avoid the pathogenic allergens and for the specific immunotherapy.

BACKGROUND:There are various therapies for children limb fractures involving the epiphysis or the metaphysis. According to the different methods, studies on the growth of the epiphyseal plate are a lot, most of which focus on the effects of Kirschner wires with different diameters or holow screw internal fixation on the development of epiphyseal plate. However, there are rare studies on the influence of cross-epiphyseal plate internal fixation on the growth of epiphyseal plate as wel as the influence level. OBJECTIVE:To prepare a peri-epiphyseal fracture model in young rabbits and to observe the effects of cross-epiphyseal plate implantation and removal on the growth of epiphyseal plate. METHODS: Traverse fracture models were made 5 mm above the right femoral distal epiphyseal plate of 60 young rabbits, and then fixed with suitable “L” steel plate and four screws across the epiphyseal plate and peri-epiphyseal fracture line. The left side served as control. Eight rabbits were kiled and observed at 2, 4, 8, 12 weeks after modeling, respectively, to take out the femoral specimens for measurement of femoral length, thickness of the epiphyseal plate, and number of mastocytes per unit column. Histopathology observation was done and changes in mastocytes and thickness of the epiphyseal plate were detected. Another seven rabbits were selected to remove the metal plate, continued to feed for 2 weeks and finaly executed to observe the above-mentioned indexes. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) There were significant differences in the above indexes between the plate and control groups at 4, 8, 12 weeks after modeling (P < 0.05 orP< 0.001) but not at 2 weeks after modeling (P> 0.05). These findings indicate that within 2 weeks after cross-epiphyseal plate internal fixation, proper pressue has no remarkable influence on the growth of epiphyseal plate; but after persistent internal fixation (> 4 weeks), the growth of epiphyseal plate can be partialy or completed retarded. (2) At 2 and 4 weeks after modeling, the plate was removed, and 2 weeks later, the femoral length, thickness of the epiphyseal plate and mastocyte counting per unit column were improved to different extents, and there were no differences between the plate and control group (P > 0.05). At 8 and 12 weeks after modeling, the plate was removed, and 2 weeks later, the femoral length and thickness of the epiphyseal plate were shortened, and the number of mastocytes per unit column was decreased obviously, which significantly differed from the control group (P < 0.001). These findings indicate that the chondrocytes in the proliferative and hypertrophy layers lose the differentiation and proliferation abilities, and the femoral length and epiphyseal plate thickness are difficult to recover.

Objective To investigate the influence of the post stroke depression (PSD) on cognitive function in patients with stroke and their correlation, and to evaluate the diagnosis value of P300 cognitive function in patients with PSD. Methods One hundred and seventeen cases of inpatient with acute stroke in neurology medicine were continuously observed and scored using HAMD rating scale at the onset of 2 weeks. And 53 cases of PSD and 64 cases of non-post-stroke depression (NPSD) were scored using MMSE score and P300 determination respectively,and the results were compared. Results The incidence of PSD was 45.29%(53/117) at the 2 weeks after stroke,including 35 cases (29.91%) of mild depression,11 cases (9.40%) of medium degree depression and 7 cases (5.98%) of major depression. Compared with NPSD group, the P300 latency period of PSD group was significantly prolonged ( < 0.01), and the amplitude significantly reduced ( < 0.01) . The MMSE score difference was statistically significant ( <0.05) in the two groups. Conclusion The PSD is given priority to with mild-to-moderate depression, and the cognitive function damage in patients with PSD is more obvious than that in NPSD group. P300 determination can be used as the evaluation indicator of diagnosis cognitive function in patients with PSD.

Following the wishes of volunteer patients,316 cases of type 2 diabetics of our community center in 2008 carried out a three-year intervention from 2008 to 2011 on the basis of rational drug therapy plus the interventions of health education,regular review and lifestyle strengthening.And regular monitoring and recording were performed on the parameters of body mass index (BMI),blood pressure,blood lipids,fasting glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and liver & kidney function.After intervention,some indicators changed:BMI (25.2 ±3.5) vs.(25.0 ±3.3) kg/m2,systolic blood pressure (129.1 ± 11.8) vs.(126.2 ±7.9) mm Hg(1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa),fasting glucose (7.80 ±2.81) vs.(7.25 ± 1.96) mmol/L,2 h postprandial blood glucose (11.04 ±4.60) vs.(9.83 ±3.60) mmol/L,HbA1c (7.39 ± 1.61) vs.(7.17 ± 1.65)％,total cholesterol (5.08 ±1.21) vs.(4.74 ± 1.35) mmol/L,low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL) (3.09 ± 0.87) vs.(2.85 ±0.83) mmol/L,high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) (1.27 ± 0.33) vs.(1.41 ± 0.32) mmol/L,serum creatinine 65 vs.72 μmol/L,uric acid 300 vs.317 μmol/L.And the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).After intervention,blood pressure compliance rate increased from 72.5％ to 88.0％,LDL-C compliance rate improved from 27.2％ to 38.6％,HDL-C compliance rate of 54.9％ increased to 66.9％.And the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).The pre-intervention combined compliance rate of 11.4％ (n =36) rose to 17.7％ (n =56).And there was significant difference (P =0.024).

Objective To investigate the role of UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1A (UGT1A),nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 ( Keapl ) in the tumorigenesis of colonic carcinoma.Methods The expressions of UGT1 A,Nrf2 and Keapl were detected in normal colonic mucosa(24 cases),adenoma tissue (30 cases) and adenocarcinoma tissue (77 cases) by immunohistochemistry,and the relationship between their expressions and the clinical pathological characteristics was analyzed.Results The positive rates of UGT1 A in normal colonic mucosa,adenoma and adenocarcinoma tissue were 83.3％ ( 20/24),80.0％ ( 24/30 ) and 53.2％ ( 41/77 ),respectively.The positive rate of UGT1A in adenocarcinoma was lower than those in colonic mucosa and adenoma ( all P ＜0.05 ).On the contrary,the positive rates of Nrf2 in adenoma [70.0％ (21/30) ] and adenocarcinoma tissue [ 87.0％ (67/77) ] were higher than that in normal colonic tissue [ 41.7％ (10/24),all P =0.000 ].The positive rates of Keapl in normal colonic mucosa,adenoma and adenocarcinoma tissue were 54.2％ ( 13/24),70.0％ (21/30) and 61.0％ (47/77),respectively ( normal colonic tissue vs adenocarcinoma tissue,P =0.040 ; adenoma vs adenocarcinoma,P =0.002 ).There was no correlation between the expression of UGT1 A,Nrf2 and the clinicopathologic features of colon carcinoma,while the differences of Keapl positive rates in the various degrees of tumor differentiation [ moderately-well differentiated vs poorly differentiated:70.0％ (35/50) vs 44.4％ (12/27) ] and invasion [T1-T2 vs T3-T4:78.8％ (26/33) vs 47.7％ (21/44) ]were statistically significant (all P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusion The decreased expression of UGT1A and the dysregulation of Nrf2/Keapl system may play a role in colonic tumorigenesis.

Objective:To assess the relationship between the characteristic of drug resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii and the syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in intensive care unit(ICU).Methods:Sixty-six strains of Acinetobacter baumannii were isolated from sputum specimens of patients in our ICU from March 2005 to February 2006.The data of the drug sensitivity test in vitro was analyzed.The relation between the syndrome of TCM and drug resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii was probed.Results:The 66 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii were drug resistant to multiple kinds of anti-bacterial drugs(sensitivity rate
