The connection between tendons and bones is called the tendon bone connection. With the continuous improvement of national sports awareness, excessive exercises and the related intensity are prone to damage the tendon bone connection. Tendon bone healing is a complex repair and healing process involving multiple factors, and good tendon bone healing is a prerequisite for its physiological function. The complexity of tendon bone structure also poses great challenges to the repair of tendon bone injuries. In recent years, researches have found that stem cells, growth factors, macrophages, and other factors are closely related to the healing process of tendon bone injuries, among which macrophages play an important role in the healing process. The authors reviewed relevant research literature in recent years and summarized the role of macrophages in tendon bone healing, in order to provide new ideas and directions for treatment strategies to promote tendon bone healing.

Objective:To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy (LVMR) +anal sphincter plasty for complete rectal prolapse.Methods:From Jan 1, 2018 to Dec 31, 2022, 45 patients with complete rectal prolapse diagnosed in Beijing Erlong Road Hospital received laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy +anal sphincter plasty were included in this study.Result:There was no mortality rate associated with LVMR in this study cohort. The follow-up period was 8-76 months, with a median follow-up period of 59 months. There were 2 cases of recurrence, with a recurrence rate of 4%. Patients with concomitant fecal incontinence symptoms had a preoperative Jorge Wexner fecal incontinence score of 13.8±2.0, and postoperative Jorge Wexner fecal incontinence scores of 7.5±1.5, 5.3±1.3, 4.3±1.1, 2.8±1.0, and 1.8±0.5 at 3, 6, 12, 36, and 60 months, respectively, all P<0.001. Patients with concomitant constipation had a preoperative Wexner constipation score of 15.7 ± 1.5, and a postoperative Wexner constipation score of 9.0±1.8, 6.8±1.5, 5.2±1.4, 4.1±0.7, 2.0±0.0 at 3, 6, 12, 36, and 60 months, respectively, all P<0.001. Conclusions:LVMR +anal Sphincter plasty is safe and effective for the treatment of complete rectal prolapse, and there are few complications related to biological patches. Anal sphincter plasty can effectively improve anal function.

Objective We propose a low-dose CT reconstruction method using partial differential equation (PDE) denoising under high-dimensional constraints. Methods The projection data were mapped into a high-dimensional space to construct a high-dimensional representation of the data, which were updated by moving the points in the high-dimensional space. The data were denoised using partial differential equations and the CT image was reconstructed using the FBP algorithm. Results Compared with those by FBP, PWLS-QM and TGV-WLS methods, the relative root mean square error of the Shepp-Logan image reconstructed by the proposed method were reduced by 68.87％, 50.15％ and 27.36％, the structural similarity values were increased by 23.50％, 8.83％ and 1.62％, and the feature similarity values were increased by 17.30％, 2.71％ and 2.82％, respectively. For clinical image reconstruction, the proposed method, as compared with FBP, PWLS-QM and TGV-WLS methods, resulted in reduction of the relative root mean square error by 42.09％, 31.04％and 21.93％, increased the structural similarity values by 18.33％, 13.45％ and 4.63％, and increased the feature similarity values by 3.13％, 1.46％ and 1.10％, respectively. Conclusion The new method can effectively reduce the streak artifacts and noises while maintaining the spatial resolution in reconstructed low-dose CT images.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of recombinant human anti-severe acute respiratory syn-drome coronavirus 2(anti-SARS-CoV-2)monoclonal antibody injection(F61 injection)in the treatment of patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)combined with renal damage.Methods Patients with COVID-19 and renal damage who visited the PLA General Hospital from January to February 2023 were selected.Subjects were randomly divided into two groups.Control group was treated with conventional anti-COVID-19 therapy,while trial group was treated with conventional anti-COVID-19 therapy combined with F61 injection.A 15-day follow-up was conducted after drug administration.Clinical symptoms,laboratory tests,electrocardiogram,and chest CT of pa-tients were performed to analyze the efficacy and safety of F61 injection.Results Twelve subjects(7 in trial group and 5 in control group)were included in study.Neither group had any clinical progression or death cases.The ave-rage time for negative conversion of nucleic acid of SARS-CoV-2 in control group and trial group were 3.2 days and 1.57 days(P=0.046),respectively.The scores of COVID-19 related target symptom in the trial group on the 3rd and 5th day after medication were both lower than those of the control group(both P＜0.05).According to the clinical staging and World Health Organization 10-point graded disease progression scale,both groups of subjects improved but didn't show statistical differences(P＞0.05).For safety,trial group didn't present any infusion-re-lated adverse event.Subjects in both groups demonstrated varying degrees of elevated blood glucose,elevated urine glucose,elevated urobilinogen,positive urine casts,and cardiac arrhythmia,but the differences were not statistica-lly significant(all P＞0.05).Conclusion F61 injection has initially demonstrated safety and clinical benefit in trea-ting patients with COVID-19 combined with renal damage.As the domestically produced drug,it has good clinical accessibility and may provide more options for clinical practice.

Objective To investigate whether Heshouwuyin can delay the aging of Leydig cells in rat testis through DNA methyltransferase 1(DNMT1).Methods Totally 40 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups,with 10 rats in each group.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression levels of DNMT1 in testis tissue of rats.Testosterone content in serum of rats in each group was detected by ELISA test.A rat Leydig cell aging model was established by free radical oxidative damage.DNMT1 was knocked down by lentivirus in Leydig cells,and the cell senescence status and the testosterone content and testosterone synthesis key enzyme 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(3β-HSD),cytochrome P450 family member 11A1(CYP11A1)content secreted by cells were detected by β-galactosidase(β-GAL)staining,immunofluorescenct staining and ELISA.Results Compared with the young control group(YCG),the expression of P16 protein and the positive rate of β-GAL in the testis tissue of rats in the natural aging group(NAG)increased significantly,and the expression of DNMT1 and serum testosterone levels decreased(P＜0.05).However,after Heshouwuyin intervention,the expression of P16 protein and the positive rate of β-GAL in the testis of aging rats were reduced,and DNMT1 expression and the serum testosterone levels increased(P＜0.05).The same trend was observed in Leydig cells.Knockdown of DNMT1 in Leydig cells,β-GAL positivity and P16 protein expression increased significantly,and testosterone secretion and testosterone synthesis key enzymes 3β-HSD,CYP11A1 content from Leydig cells decreased significantly,compared with the normal control group(NCG)(P＜0.05).When Heshouwuyin was added,the above phenomenon was improved.Conclusion Heshouwuyin can delay the aging of rat Leydig cells through DNMT1.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the short-term effectiveness of transverse antecubital incision in the treatment of failed closed reduction of Gartland type Ⅲ supracondylar humeral fractures (SHFs) in children. METHODS: Between July 2020 and April 2022, 20 children with Gartland type Ⅲ SHFs who failed in closed reduction were treated with internal and external condylar crossing Kirschner wire fixation through transverse antecubital incision. There were 9 boys and 11 girls with an average age of 3.1 years (range, 1.1-6.0 years). The causes of injuries were fall in 12 cases and fall from height in 8 cases. The time from admission to operation ranged from 7 to 18 hours, with an average of 12.4 hours. The healing of the incision and the occurrence of complications such as nerve injury and cubitus varus were observed after operation; the elbow flexion and extension range of motion after removing the gypsum, after removing the Kirschner wire, and at last follow-up were recorded and compared, as well as the elbow flexion and extension and forearm rotation range of motion at last follow-up between healthy and affected sides; the Baumann angle was measured on the X-ray film, and the fracture healing was observed. At last follow-up, the effectiveness was evaluated according to the Flynn elbow function evaluation criteria. RESULTS: All incisions healed by first intention, and there was no skin necrosis, scar contracture, ulnar nerve injury, and cubitus varus. Postoperative pain occurred in the radial-dorsal thumb in 2 cases. The gypsum was removed and elbow flexion and extension exercises were started at 2-4 weeks (mean, 2.7 weeks) after operation, and the Kirschner wire was removed at 4-5 weeks (mean, 4.3 weeks). All the 20 patients were followed up 6-16 months, with an average of 12.4 months. The fracture healing time was 4-5 weeks, with an average of 4.5 weeks, and there was no complication such as delayed healing and myositis ossificans. The flexion and extension range of motion of the elbow joint gradually improved after operation, and there were significant differences between the time after removing the gypsum, after removing the Kirschner wire, and at last follow-up ( P<0.017). There was no significant difference in the flexion and extension of the elbow joint and the forearm rotation range of motion between the healthy and affected sides at last follow-up ( P>0.05). There was no significant difference in Baumann angle between the time of immediate after operation, after removing the Kirschner wire, and at last follow-up ( P>0.05). According to Flynn elbow function evaluation standard, 16 cases were excellent and 4 cases were good, the excellent and good rate was 100%. CONCLUSION The treatment of Gartland type Ⅲ SHFs in children with failed closed reduction by internal and external condylar crossing Kirschner wire fixation through transverse antecubital incision has the advantages of complete soft tissue hinge behind the fracture for easy reduction and wire fixation, small incision, less complications, fast fracture healing, early functional recovery, reliable reduction and fixation, and can obtain satisfactory results.

The treatment of refractory Glaucoma is a difficult problem in clinical ophthalmology. For refractory glaucoma patients with hyphema, shallow anterior chamber, anterior conglutination of peripheral chamber angle, corneal endothelium dystrophy or decompensated, at present, there is no effective treatment. In order to solve this problem, a new type posterior integral glaucoma valve with IOP control device was designed using medical titanium alloy, and the valve model was established by Abaqus software, and the stiffness and preload of the valve were analyzed by finite element method. The results showed that the opening and closing of the valve were controlled automatically by the pressure difference between the front and back of the valve, and the opening and flow rate of the valve increase dynamically with the increase of intraocular pressure, and finally reached the set ideal IOP value of steady state.

OBJECTIVE: To present a nonlocal low-rank and sparse matrix decomposition (NLSMD) method for low-dose cerebral perfusion CT image restoration. METHODS: Low-dose cerebral perfusion CT images were first partitioned into a matrix, and the low- rank and sparse matrix decomposition model was constructed to obtain high-quality low-dose cerebral perfusion CT images. The cerebral hemodynamic parameters were calculated from the restored high-quality CT images. RESULTS: In the phantom study, the average structured similarity (SSIM) value of the sequential images obtained by filtered back-projection (FBP) algorithm was 0.9438, which was increased to 0.9765 using the proposed algorithm; the SSIM values of cerebral blood flow (CBF) and cerebral blood volume (CBV) map obtained by FBP algorithm were 0.7005 and 0.6856, respectively, which were increased using the proposed algorithm to 0.7871 and 0.7972, respectively. CONCLUSION The proposed method can effectively suppress noises in low-dose cerebral perfusion CT images to obtain accurate cerebral hemodynamic parameters.

Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disease with multiple causes. Due to no effective drugs to reverse the progress of AD, many researchers in the world focus on the early pathological changes of AD in order to find the effective intervention for delaying the progress of AD. As an organ with high energy demand, brain is very sensitive to changes in fuel supply and energy alteration. Abnormal glucose metabolism and mitochondrial dysfunction are the important signs of brain aging and the main causes of bioenergetic deficits, which appear earlier than the characteristic pathological injuries of AD. So the disturbance of energy synthesis has been considered an early contributory e- vent to AD progression. In this article we review the study progress of energy synthesis disorder involved in the pathogenesis of AD base on cerebral blood flow, glucose uptake, utilization and the relative metabolic regulation in the brain.
