1.Preliminary Study on the Mode of Inheritance of Male Pattern Alopecia (MPA)
Journal of Kunming Medical University 1988;0(03):-
95 probands' family frees of MPA have been studied by the methods of simple segregation analysis and estimation of heritability. The result shows that MPA may be caused by different hereditary patterns. In the families with affected parents and vertical transmission. MPA may be caused by an autosomal dominant (AD) gene, making up 56.84% (AD) and 2.11% (reduced penetrance). It also shows that MPA may be due to polygenic inheritance.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To evaluate the relationship between the cervical length, the test of fetal fibronectin and premature birth in pregnant woman. Methods Fetal fibronectin in sample of cervical secretion was tested using the reagent box of FFN manufactured by the ADEIA company of the United States and enzyme-labeled immunosorbent assay(ELISA) methods in 110 pregnant women. They were divided into two groups:first group, there were 60 cases who had symptom of aura prematurity and cervical lengths ≤30 mm monitored by trans-perineum ultrasound.second group was 50 normal pregnant women. Results The postive rate of fetal fibronectin was higher significantly in first group than that in second group. Conclusion The measurement of cervical lengths by the trans-perineum ultrasound and the test of Fetal fibronectin in pregnant women who has symptom of aura prematurity are of certain clinical value in predicting preterm birth.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(9):1001-1003
Rheumatoid arthritis ( RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease involving progressive articular damage cause by inflam-matory cells and synoviocytes.Stat3 gene, which is confirmed to play a role in the pathogenesis of RA, regulates the metabolism and apoptosis of the fibroblast-like synoviocytes ( FLS) .SirT1 gene relating to the bone formation was indicated to play a role in the patho-genesis of RA in recent years. This review introduces the pathogenesis and targeted treatment of RA and makes a prediction about the relation between Stat3 and SirT1 gene.We hope it will provide a new direction for the research of RA.

Objective To study anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of extract from the roots and leaves of Citrulluslanatus and assess their acute toxicity in animals. Methods The mouse model with ear edema induced by xyleneand the rat model with paw edema or granuloma by carrageenin or cotton pellet were used for anti-inflammatoryeffects of the extract.Effects of the extract on analgesia was tested respectively by measuring the latency of micelicking hind foot from hot plates and by counting the times of body twisting in response to acetic acid. The acutetoxicity of the extract was determined with the method of Bliss. Results The extract significantly inhibited the earedema, granuloma hyperplasia, and paw edema. It significantly lifted the pain threshold on mouse hot-plateresponses and reduced their writhing times.During the 7 d observation period in its acute toxicity assay,no apparenttoxic reaction was shown and all mice survived at a dose of 87 g extract per kg body weight. Conclusion Theextract could protecte mice/rates from inflammation and analgesia, and may be safe as an orally administered naturalproduct for humans.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH) treating for Ⅲand Ⅳ degree hemorrhoid under the local anesthesia. Methods One hundred and fifty patients with Ⅲ and Ⅳ degree hemorrhoid were divided into two groups randomly. One group was the local anesthesia group (LA group) which included 73 cases, the other one was the combined spinal epidural anesthesia group (CSE group) which included 77 cases.Compared the safety and efficacy of different procedure. Results The original symptom of the two groups were improved. There was a significant difference in the time of hospitalization time and the hospitalization expense between the two groups (P<0.05).The LA group was(4.8±1.1)days with(3980±639)yuan,and the CSE group was(6.8±1.1) days with(5128±728)yuan.The rates of two groups of urine retention were 9.6% and 24.7% (P<0.05) after the operation respectively, and there were no significant differences in recovery normal activity time, the pain index, copracrasia and pruritus, the bleed, the anal fistula, the prolapse of hemorrhoid, the skin tag (P >0.05).Conclusion PPH under the local anesthesia is safe, compare to the combined spinal epidural anesthesia,it excels in shortening the hospitalization time and reducing the hospitalization expense, also it can reduce significantly the rate of urine retention after operation.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2010;43(9):637-639
Objective To compare two common techniques for motor unit number estimation (MUNE), multiple point stimulation(MPS) and incremental stimulation, and determine which is preferable in the follow-up study of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).Methods MPS or incremental stimulation MUNE was recorded respectively in 120 ALS patients at baseline and month 3, 6, 9 ,and 12 after study entry. The maximal baseline to negative peak compound muscle action potential (CMAP) amplitude was recorded. For multiple point stimulation, the stimuli sites included the skin of the wrist, 6 cm above the wrist, elbow and 6 cm above the elbow.Individual motor unit responses were obtained by moving thestimulating electrode and isolating threshold responses. Then, with finely graded stimulus intensity at one point, 3 steps in a CMAP were investigated. For incremental stimulation, stimulus intensity was slowlyincreased from subthreshold levels until a small, all-or-none response was evoked. The intensity was slowly increased until the response increased in a quantal fashion. This process was repeated for a total of 10 increments.Single motor unit potential were obtained by subtracting amplitudes of each response from that of the prior response. The values obtained from two methods were compared. Results The value of MUNE declined in the follow-up period.MUNE obtained from MPS was the same as that gained from incremental stimulation at the baseline and the 3rd, 9th, 12th month after study entry, while MUNE obtained in MPS was more than that obtained from incremental stimulation at the 6th month after study entry ( 88 ± 6 and 47 ± 5;t = 1.72, P = 0.04).Conclusions Both MPS and incremental stimulation are certain in the follow-up study of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The value of MUNE obtained from two methods might be different in some period.
