Objective To investigate the vascular effect of hydroxyl-safflor yellow A(HSYA) on rat thoracic aorta and its underlying mechanism. Methods The tension of isolated thoracic aorta rings of rats perfused with different concentrations of HSYA(1?10-6-1?10-4 mol/L) was measured using organ bath technique. The effects of HSYA on the vasocontraction induced by cumulative phenylephrine(PE)(1?10-6-1?10-4 mol/L),KCl(6?10-2 mol/L) and CaCl2(1?10-5-3?10-3 mol/L) were recorded respectively. Results HSYAcaused a concentration-dependent anti-contraction effects by KCl or PE in endothelium-intact and endothelium-denuded aortic rings.HSYA inhibited the CaCl2-induced contraction and downward shifted concentration-response curve of aortic rings.HSYA+HP resulted in more significant anti-contraction effect than single use of HSYA(P0.05).There were significant differences in anti-contraction effect between HSYA+RR and RR or HSYA(P

To study the chemical components and the antifungal activity of extraction from conidia of Trichoderma viride LTR-2.The extraction were obtained by distilling with Methylene dichloride from conidia of Trichoderma viride LTR-2 cultured on wheat bran solid matrix.Antifungal activity were determined by mycelium growth method. The chemical components of the extraction were analysed by GC-MS,the relative components in the extraction were determined by area normalization. The extraction not only have broad-spectrum control, showed antibiosis against eleven different plant fungal pathogens in PDA dish, such as Rhizoctonia solani,Alternaria brassica,Verticillium dahliae,Macrophoma kawatsukai,Fusarium moniliforme,Botrytis cinerea,Rhizoctonia cerealis,Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.vasinfectum,Bipolaris sorokinana,Fusarium graminearum,Alternaria.mali, but also have high inhibitory effect, and had 89.3% suppressive rate to Rhizoctonia cerealis.About sixty components were separated and identified by GC-MS,majority components were Hydrocarbon, the number of the Hydrocarbon were fourty-three kinds.Ergosterol was the major chemical components of the extract, and has 41.90% content.Other components comprised:Ketone,Organic acid,Alcohol,Ene,et al.Conclusion:The extraction from conidia of Trichoderma viride LTR-2 have antifungal activity. The extration comprised 2H-Pyran-2-one,5,6-dihydro-6-pentyl,it has 2.35% content.reference others literature,2H-Pyran-2-one,5,6-dihydro-6-pentyl may be the suppressive component of the extration.

OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical effects of locking plates in the treatment of intertrochanteric hip fractures.
METHODSFrom February 2006 to December 2008,108 patients with intertrochanteric hip fractures treated with locking plate and DHS were retrospective analyzed. Fifty-one patients were treated with locking plates, including 23 males and 28 females, aged 45 to 86 years old (averaged 66.0 years old); and fifty-seven patients were treated with DHS, including 26 males and 31 females, aged 43 to 81 years old (averaged 64.1 years old). The outcome measures collected for statistical analysis on the following aspects: operative time, blood loss, drainage, healing time, complications and Harris scores.
RESULTSOne hundred and eight patients were followed up ranging from 8 to 24 months (averaged 12.5 months). In locking plate group, the operative time was (87 +/- 14) minutes; blood loss was (367 +/- 213) ml; drainage was (63 +/- 14) ml; healing time was (11.9 +/- 3.4) weeks; 7 patients had complications; and the Harriss score was (85 +/- 6). While in DHS group, the operative time was (115 +/- 23) minutes; blood loss was (582 +/- 243) ml; drainage was (98 +/- 16) ml; healing time was (12.4 +/- 2.5) weeks; 9 patients had complications; and the Harriss score was (84 +/- 8). There were no significant differences in the healing time, complications and Harris scores between two groups (P > 0.05),but there were significant differences in the operative time, blood loss, drainage between two groups (P < 0.05). Comparing with DHS group, the locking plate group was of shorter operative time, fewer blood loss and drainage.
CONCLUSIONProximal femoral locking plate is simple, minimally invasive, stable fixation with fewer complications, and is an effective method for intertrochanteric hip fractures.

To effectively guarantee quality of randomized controlld trial (RCT) of acupuncture and develop reasonable content and checklist of on-site quality control, influencing factors on quality of acupuncture RCT are analyzed and scientificity of quality control content and feasibility of on-site manipulation are put into overall consideration. Based on content and checklist of on-site quality control in National 11th Five-Year Plan Project Optimization of Comprehensive Treatment Plan for TCM in Prevention and Treatment of Serious Disease and Clinical Assessment on Generic Technology and Quality Control Research, it is proposed that on-site quality control of acupuncture RCT should be conducted with PICOST (patient, intervention, comparison, out come, site and time) as core, especially on quality control of interveners' skills and outcome assessment of blinding, and checklist of on-site quality control is developed to provide references for undertaking groups of the project.

Chinese Journal of Medical Genetics 2010;27(3):272-275
OBJECTIVETo investigate the splice variants of the calpain 3 gene existing in human skeletal muscle tissue and white blood cells, and to explore the feasibility of gene diagnosis using CAPN3 mRNA extracted from peripheral leukocytes.
METHODSTotal RNA was extracted from peripheral blood and skeletal muscle tissue in healthy individuals. CAPN3 cDNAs were determined by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction and DNA sequencing. CAPN3 cDNAs from peripheral leukocytes were compared with sequences obtained from skeletal muscle tissue.
RESULTSRT-PCR and DNA sequencing showed that the CAPN3 cDNAs comprised 24 exons in human skeletal muscle tissue, while the number of exons was 23 in white blood cells. Exon 15 was spliced out in human white blood cells.
CONCLUSIONSplice variants exist in human skeletal muscle tissue and white blood cells. Gene diagnosis may omit the mutations of exon 15 using mRNA extracted from peripheral leukocytes. These findings suggest that mutation analysis of the CAPN3 cDNA should use skeletal muscle tissue as materials instead of peripheral blood.

National Journal of Andrology 2002;8(4):250-252
OBJECTIVESTo determine the expression of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in testis and to investigate the effects of NO on the reproductive function of testis.
METHODSTestes of adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde. The paraffin sections were made as routine. Immunohistochemical ABC method was used to observe the localization of NOS.
RESULTSEndothelia NOS (eNOS), neuronal NOS (nNOS) and inductive NOS (iNOS) were all expressed in Leydig cells. Only eNOS was expressed in peritubular myoid cells, endothelial and smooth muscle cells of blood vessel, while only nNOS expressed in tunica adventitia of testicular blood vessels. The reactive substance distributes in cytoplasm with negative nuclei. Immunoreactivity for eNOS, nNOS and iNOS in all spermatogenic cells was negative.
CONCLUSIONSThree kinds of NOS were all expressed in testis and the distribution of different NOS had a little difference.
