Objective To explore the application of the ultraviolet spectrophotometry method in detecting colchicine poisoning serum to provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of colchicine poisoning.Methods 0.5 mL of serum was taken and added with the extract solution(chloroform∶methanol=95 ∶5)4.0 mL.The sufficient oscillation extraction and high-speed cen-trifugation were performed.Then the organic layer was taken into another test tube for drying by nitrogen.0.2 mL of methanol dis-solved residue was taken and blended.50 μL of the mixed solution was taken for conducting ultraviolet scanning.Results The max-imum absorption peak of serum colchicine was (351 ±1)nm,the concentration within 5.0-40 μg/mL showed linearity,the regres-sion equation wasY =0.050 2X +0.001 3,the correlation coefficient was 0.999 5,the recovery rate was 83.8% -102.8%,the rel-ative standard deviation:3.3% -4.8%.The intra-day and inter-day were 3.22%-4.74% and 3.45%-4.66%,the lowest detec-tion concentration was 1 .0 μg/mL.Conclusion This method is simple to operate,fast in analysis,accurate in the detection result, which provides a simple and accurate detection method for clinical diagnosis of colchicine poisoning.

Objective To investigate the effect of the choice of the different models of venous indwelling needle on coronary flash dual-source computed tomography (CT) angiography.Methods 120 patients were randomly divided into three groups (40 cases in each group) who were selected to use 18G,20G,22G indwelling needle.They underwent CT coronary imaging.We measured the CT value of left and right coronary artery opening,right vein opening plane and the right ventricular cavity.We also compared the pain of patients during puncture.Results 120 cases were completed inspection.There was significant difference in the strengthen value of left and right coronary artery and CT value of the right ventricle cavity between 18G and 20G.The difference in the strengthen value of left and right coronary artery and CT value of the right ventricle cavity between 18G and 22G was also significantly different.There was no significant difference in all monitoring points between 20G and 22G.Three types of right coronary vein were not statistically significant.Conclusions Model 20G indwelling needle get the best flash dual-source CT image and better patients' acceptance.

AIM: To investigate the effect of deafferentation on the expression level of calretinin (CR) in adult Sprague Dawley rat olfactory bulb (OB). METHODS: Adult Sprague Dawley rats were given a single intranasal irrigation with ZnSO_4. A specific period (10, 20, 30 and 60 days, respectively) after the treatment, immunoreactivities of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) and calretinin of OB were examined by using immunohistochemistry. Down-regulation of TH expression level was regarded as a mark of deafferentation. RESULTS: 10, 20, 30 and 60 days after ZnSO_4 treatment, staining intensity and density of TH-immunoreactive cells of OB significantly reduced and the degree of reduction was correlated with the time of treatment before 30 days, but the result of 60 d was similar to that of 30 d. There was no obvious change in the density of CR-immunopositive cells after the same treatment. CONCLUSION: Expression of CR in adult rat OB was not affected by deafferentation.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of T2 *mapping T2 *value combined with DWI ADC value in quantitative assessment of the activity of sacroiliitis.Methods 30 patients diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis (AS)were divided into 2 groups as acute group (n=17)and chronic group (n=13)according to the BASDAI scores of the clinical severity of disease.And 20 healthy adults were recruited as control group.All groups were examined by MR with traditional sequence,T2 *mapping and DWI in the sacroiliac joint.The T2 *value and ADC value of the bone marrow edema region and normal region were measured.Furthermore,the imaging data and the clinical scores were statistical analysis and compared among three groups.Results T2 *values and ADC values in acute group of AS patients were higher than chronic group (P<0.05),as well as compared with healthy volunteers (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the chronic group of AS patients and control group (P>0.05).Positive correlation between ADC value and BASDAI was observed in patients group.Conclusion T2 *mapping combined with DWI imaging in AS is beneficial for early diagnosis and quantitative analysis of the activity of sacroiliitis.

Objective To evaluate the diagnosis value of spiral CT in leiomyosarcoma of abdomen.Methods Both plain and enhanced CT fingdings in 12 cases with pathologic-proved leiomyosarcoma of abdomen were respectively analyzed.Results In all of 12 cases,1 case occurred in colon,1 case in rectum,1 case in small intestine,5 cases in mesentery,4 cases in retroperitoneum,CT positioning accuracy rate was 91.7 ％ (11/12).The volume was comparatively large,the average diameter was 6 cm.The density were uneven,nodosity or lamellar necrosis were found.Delay enhacement were occurred in lower density part in most part of cases (9/12).Conclusion The localization of spiral CT is comparatively accurate to the leiomyosarcoma of abdomen,some characteristics are found in CT image,but the final diagnosis depends on immunohistochemistry.

Objective To explore the application of knowledge-attitude-practice theory in Operating Room nurses to improve the prevention management of deep venous thrombosis ( DVT ) . Methods A total of 114 nurses participated in operations in Operating Room were randomly divided into control group (57 cases) and intervention group ( 57 cases ) . Nurses of two groups accepted training of routine knowledge, operation training and guidance, while nurses in intervention group also accepted knowledge-attitude-practice intervention. Cognition situation and implementation situation on prevention of lower limb venous thrombosis were compared among nurses between two groups. Results The score of cognition situation on prevention of lower limb venous thrombosis was (9. 41 ± 2. 26) in control group and (17. 27 ± 2. 03) in intervention group with a significant difference (P<0. 01). The score of implementation situation on prevention of lower limb venous thrombosis was (4. 60 ± 1. 83) in control group and (7. 52 ± 1. 69) in intervention group with a significant difference ( P<0. 01). There were statistically significant differences in score of each dimension (P<0. 01). Conclusions The intervention of knowledge-attitude-practice can effectively improve cognition situation and implementationsituation on prevention of lower limb venous thrombosis so as to reduce the incidence rate of lower limb venous thrombosis.

[Abatract] In order to improve the result of clinical practice for undergraduate students of clinical medicine, combined with the professional characteristics of hematology and teaching syllabus, Hematology Department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University developed practi-cal teaching content and tried using a variety of teaching methods and teaching means such as multi-media aided teaching, case teaching and simulation teaching method and so on. Besides, multiple station examination was established; teaching feedback and supervision were strengthened. The prac-tice proved that the reform measures were conducive to the cultivation of medical students' practical skills and clinical thinking, which helped to speed up the transformation from the students to the role of doctors.

ObjectivesTo investigate the effect of pediatric trauma life support (PTLS) curriculum on the improvement of rescue skill for pediatric trauma patients.MethodsPTLS course was introduced to train medical staff engaging in pediatric critical trauma care. The course included theoretical and practical part with main focus on enhancement of students’ decision on scene and rescue skill.ResultsCompared with pre-training, the students’ post-training written test scores improved signiifcant-ly, and the rates of qualiifcation and excellence were improved signiifcantly (P<0.01). All students were qualiifed for the tests of skill stations and simulation scenario. The excellence rates of the tests were as follows: ifxation and transportation 42.62%, basic and advanced airway management 81.97%, shock evaluation and management 70.49%, simulation scenario 72.13%. Both pre-training and post-training written test scores in hospital group were significantly higher than those in pre-hospital group (P<0.01).ConclusionsAfter PTLS courses, the knowledge, practice and integrated life-saving skills of students are greatly im-proved and teamwork is strengthened.
