Objective To investigate the efficacy of heparin plus low-dose aspirin on pregnant women with primary antiphospholipid syndrome(APS). Methods Three hundred and twenty women with unexplained pregnant failure were reviewed and anticardiolipin (aCL) immunoglobulin antibody G and M were tested. Heparin plus low-dose aspirin was given to 36 women with positive results. Results One fetal death and one embryo loss occured. The live birth rate was 94.4%(34/36) and the mean gestational week was (35.7?3.2) wks. AIM:To determine Radix et Rhizoma Rhici in Ganning Granula(Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,Rhizoma Chuanxiong). METHODS: In order to determine five anthraquinone aglycones of Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,the HPLC system consisted of Nucleosil ODS column,methand-0.1% phosphoric acid(85∶15) mixture as mobile phase,with detection wavelength at 430 nm. RESULTS: HPLC showed that the linearity ranges were as follows: aloe-emodin concentration was at the range of 0.041 6-0.291 2 ?g,the rhein concentration was at the range of 0.037 1-0.259 8 ?g,the emodin concentration was at the range of 0.045 8-0.320 3 ?g,the chrysophanol concentration was at the range of 0.049 60.347 2 ?g,the physcion concentration was at the range of 0.020 6-0.144 5 ?g.The average recoveries of five anthraquinone aglycones were between 96.6%-98.4%.CONCLUSION: The method is simple,accurate,sensible and with good repeatability and can be used for quality control of Ganning Granule.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the relationship between fetal growth restriction and decreased ovarian reserve (DOR) in adulthood to screen high-risk population for early interventions.

METHODSForty-four patients with FGR and 88 normal women aged 18-40 years were enrolled. All the subjects were examined for serum levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), inhibin B (INH-B), and anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method in the first 3-5 days of the menstrual cycle, and the counts of antrum ovarian follicle were detected by transvaginal or transabdominal ultrasonography.

RESULTSThe serum levels FSH, INHB, AMH, and AFC in FGR group differed significantly from those in the control group (P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONFGR will affect reproductive endocrine function in adulthood to cause a decreased ovarian reserve.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the status of exclusive breastfeeding(EBF) and possible influencing factors during 0-7 days postpartum in China.

METHODSDuring 2011 to 2013, healthy mothers and neonates who were in the period of 0- 7 days postpartum from 8 provinces across different regions of China were recruited to take the questionnaire investigations and physical examinations. Information about socio-economic, pregnant, and delivery status, infant healthy situation and feeding indicators was collected to calculate the rate of exclusive breastfeeding during 0- 7 days postpartum and analyze the influencing factors.

RESULTSA total of 1 882 pairs of mothers and neonates were covered by this study. The rate of EBF was 13.3% (250 cases) during 0- 7 days postpartum. Bottle feeding (OR=0.08, 95% CI: 0.05- 0.12), the mothers themselves mixed fed at their 0-4 months old (OR=0.22, 95%CI: 0.08-0.58), the mothers who had used methods to stimulate milk secretion (OR=0.58, 95% CI: 0.35- 0.94) might decrease the EBF rate. Compared with the mothers who believed that their breast milk was not enough for their infants, the mothers who believed breastmilk was enough may increase the EBF rate (OR=6.04, 95%CI: 3.34-10.94). Comparing to the EBF rate of Beijing, Yunnan (OR=0.10, 95%CI: 0.04-0.24), and Gansu(OR=0.03,95%CI: 0.01-0.08) had lower EBF rate during 0-7 days postpartum. What's more, the EBF rate increased with the increasing neonates' age (OR=1.33, 95% CI: 1.16- 1.53).

CONCLUSIONThe EBF rate during 0- 7 days postpartum is still low in China and had significant differences in different regions. Suboptimal feeding knowledge and practices affected the EBF rate significantly.
