1.Modification of atrioventriculat node by radiofrequency ablation of slow pathway with inferior approach in 23 patients with superaventricular tachycardia
Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1992;0(00):-
18 patients with atrioventricular nodal reentant tachycardia (AVNRT)and 5 patients with atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia (AVRT) with AVN double pathway (AVNDP) received radiofrequency ablation of slow pathway with inferior approach in order to modify AVN. AVNRT was induced in slow-fast form in 16 patients, in fast-slow form in one patients, and in coexistent slow-fast and fast-slow forms in one patients. Selective ablation of slow pathway was achieved in 18 patients. AVRT was induced in 5 patients (one obvient accessory pathway, 4 concealed accessory pathways) ,4 patients with reentrant cirucit of consisting of anterograde conduction by slow pathway of AVN and retrograde conduction by accessory pathway (AP) , one patient coexistent AVRT and AVNRT. Slow pathway in 5 patients and AP in 3 patients were successfully ablated. Junctional rhythm appeared in 21 patients during duation of discharge of radiofrequency current. No severe complicationwere noted. AVNRT in one patient recurred during a follow-up period of 1 to 15 months. The patient experienced second catheter ablation and was successed. It was suggested radlofrequency ablation of slow pathway with Inferior approach may be a method with high rate of success and less complication.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Objective To evaluate the efficiency of control measures of the noise from a boiler room. Methods The main noise sourcs of the boiler room for attendant apartment near Wuhu railway station including air-blower and water pump were isolated using sound absorptive materials,a kind of modified PVC as sound isulator. The noise levels of the operation table for boiler workers and rooms of attendant apartment were measured before and after adopting noise control measures, then were evaluated based on GB12348-1990,the Criteria for Evaluation on the Noise of Industrial Enterprises. Results The equivalent sound levels of day and night were 76.1 and 73.5 dB(A) for the operation table for boiler workers,68.4 and 54.6 dB(A) for rooms of attendant apartment before and after noise control. The noise levels of above two monitoring points met the requirement of GB12348-1990 after the noise control. Conclusion The modified PVC sound insulator could effectively screen the noise from the boiler room.

Objective To study the interaction between HCV core protein and HCBP6 in mammlian cells using CheckMateTM Mammalian Two-Hybrid System. Methods cDNA fragments encoding HCV core protein and HCBP6 were amplified by PCR and subsequently cloned into pGEM-T vector. After verified by sequencing, the target fragments were subcloned into mammalian two-hybrid plasmids,pBIND and PACT,respectively. The recombinant plasmids,pBIND-core and pACT-HCBP6 were co-transfected into HepG2 cells with reporter plasmid pG5luc.pBIND+pACT were induced as background controls,pBIND-Myod+pACT-Id as positive controls, and pBIND-core+pACT,pBIND+pACT-HCBP6 as blank controls. The expression of G5luc,which indicated the interaction between HCV core protein and HCBP6 in mammlian HepG2 cells, was assayed through Dual-Luciferase Report Assay System and Turner Biosystems Veritas Microplate Lunimometer. Results The recombinant vectors pBIND-core and pACT-HCBP6 were successfully constructed. When co-transfected into HepG2 cells with reporter plasmid pG5luc,there were significant differences in the luciferase activity in the pBIND-core and pACT-HCBP6 groups compared with every control group. Conclusions HCBP6 can interact with HCV core protein in HepG2 cells, which provides clues for further study on the function of HCBP6 and core proteins, and on the mechanism of HCV core in cell apoptosis and cancer transformation.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(10):-
Objective To analyze the differences of time-effect and pathologic feature in the course of development of liver fibrosis between the two kinds of hepatic fibrotic animal models, which were made by CCl 4 and pig serum (PS) methods. Methods Rat models of liver fibrosis were made by using CCl 4 and PS ten week methods. At 6,10,14 and 20 weeks of model making respectively, pathological features of liver fibrosis were observed and analyzed by Masson staining and computerized image analyzing system. Results In CCl 4-induced model, fibrotic pseudolobuli developed at 6 weeks during model making, became typical at 10 weeks, and got stable thereafter.Ballooning degeneration of liver cells was outstanding, and paralleled with model making course. In PS-induced model, fibrosis occurred at 10 weeks during model making, and still developed though the model making was stopped, but ballooning degeneration of liver cells was not presented. Conclusions There was some different in time-effect relation and pathologic feature of liver fibrosis between the two methods of model making. This indicated that different mechanisms were involved in the pathogenesis of liver fibrosis. The two methods of model making should be combined to study of liver fibrosis. The prophylactic and treatment by anti-fibrotic drugs should last no less than 14 weeks.

Colorectal cancer is a kind of malignancies with high incidence in the worldwide, that is seriously harmed human health. So far the pathogenesis of the disease is not fully understood, this causing many difficulties to the diagnosis and treatment of the disease, and resulting in the cure rates of disease is not ideal. With the development of molecular genetics and molecular biology, many oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes have been found to be associated with the disease, and this made it is possible to reveal the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer at the molecular level. However, it is a complex and multi-step process from normal colorectal epithelial cells transformed to colorectal cancer cells, and it is the results of polygenic and multifactorial interactions. Now it is thought that the Wnt, TGF-beta, PI3K/Akt, MAPK and p53 signaling pathways are closely associated with pathogenesis of colorectal cancer. Based on the five kinds of signaling pathways as the main line, this article reviewed the roles of different signaling pathways and their related genes in the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer.

Objective To evaluate the effects of TIMP-1 and Ang-1 gene-modified BMSCs transplantation on the left ventricular function of rats with myocardial infarction. Methods The rat BMSCs were.transfected with eukaryotic expression plasmid encoding TIMP-1 or/and Ang-1 gene by liposome.Acute myocardial infarction was made in male rats by ligation of the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery.BMSCs carrying TIMP-1 or/and Ang-1 gene were injected into the ischemic myocardium after LAD ligatior.Four weeks after the administration, cardiac function was assessed by echocardiography and the hearts were harvested and sectioned for immunohistochemistry to examine the apoptosis, the collagen content and angiogenesis density. Results TIMP-1 and Ang-1 genemodified BMSCs transplantation significantly improved the cardiac function, myocardial apoptosis was alleviated, collagen content decreased and the angiogenesis density in border-zone was increased significantly (P<0.05).Conclusions The results suggest that the combination of TIMP-1 and Ang-1-gene modified BMSCs transplantation can improve the cardiac function of rats with myocardial infarction. The increase of the blood supply, the alleviation of myocardial apoptosis and ventricle remolding after myocardial infarction possibly play important roles in the mechanism.

Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 1995;0(02):-
Objective: To investigate the influence of Icarrin(ICA) on transforming growth factor ?2(TGF?2) expression by PG cells and the mechanisms of reversion of TGF?2 mediated immunosuppression by ICA.Methods: Cell proliferation and cytotoxici- ty were assayed by MTT assay. mRNA level of TGF?2 and perforin was detected by RT-PCR assay. assay.Expression of TGF?2 and IL- 2R? was analysed by folw cytometry assay. Results: ICA could inhibit the protein and mRNA expression of TGF?2 in PG cells. It could also reverse the supressed cytotoxicity of LAK, CD3AK cells by TGF?2. The IL-2R? expression on LAK and perforin gene transcription and proliferation of CD3AK inhibited by TGF?2 were also partly recovered. Conclusion: The anti-anti-tumor activity of ICA is at least partly due to its capability of inhibiting TGF?2 expression in tumor cells and restoring the cytotoxicity of immunocompetent cells inhibited by TGF?2.
