1.Influence of Tangshenbao Decoction on Oxidation Irritable Reaction and Pathological Changes of Renal Cortex in Diabetic Rats

Objective To investigate the influence of Tangshenbao Decoction on oxidation irritable reaction and pathological changes of renal cortex in diabetic rats. Methods The diabetic models were made by the intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin. Then the rats were treated with Tangshenbao Decoction (Chinese herbs group) and Ramipril (western medicine group) respectively for eight weeks. Observe the oxidation irritable reaction and pathological changes of renal cortex in diabetic rats. Results The Chinese herbs group can decrease the urine microalbumin, improve the activity of SOD in renal cortex, reduce the content of MDA, cut down the MGA of renal glomerulus, and has obvious effects in mitigating the oxidation damages. Conclusion Tangshenbao Decoction can decrease the excretion of urine albumin in 24 hours, mitigate the oxidation damages of kidney tissue, lighten the pathological damages of kidney, while the oxidation damages in kidney tissue may play an important role in the genesis and development of diabetic nephropathy.
2.Time-relative-intensity curve of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography for discrimination of malignant and benign liver tumors

Objective To study the diagnostic value of relative parameters and time-relative-intensity curve(TRIC) in malignant and benign liver tumors with contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS). Methods Fifty-nine focal liver lesions were examined with CEUS and drawed time-intensity curve(TIC) with QLAB software. The relative parameters of malignant and benign liver tumors were calculated and analysed. The relative intensity equaled the echo intensity of lesion substracted the encho intensity of liver. TRIC were drawed with time as abscissa and relative intensity as the ordinate. The types of TIRC were analysed comparatively in different groups (benign and malignant). Results There were significant differences in relative peak time, relative peak intensity, relative enhancement time and relative decline slope between malignant and benign lesions( P <0. 05). TRIC appeared quick-ascending and quick-descending types in the malignant lesions,the decline curve of TRIC droped down to 0 dB at (28.24 ± 8. 14)s and down to lowest - 8 dB continually, meanwhile fluctuated slightly. While TRIC appeared slow-ascending and slow-descending types in the benign lesions, the decline curve of TRIC droped down to the lowest 4 dB continually, meanwhile fluctuated slightly. Conclusions The relative parameters and TRIC are new quantitative indicators of CEUS for diagnosis of malignant and benign liver tumors.
3.Thoracoscopy combined laparoscopic combined surgery: the value of esophageal cancer

Objective The incidence of complications after esophageal cancer surgery is relatively high.The purpose of this paper was to explore the feasibility of combined thoraco-laparoscopy surgical treatment for senile esophageal cancer(over 70 years old).Methods A total of 526 esophageal cancer cases were retrospectively analyzed in this study.The operative procedures was esophageal carcinoma resection surgery and thoracic and abdominal lymphadenectomy which were operated through video-assisted by thoracoscope and laparoscopic From January 2010 to June 2014 in the Union Hospital of Fujian Medical University,divided into aged groups(≥70 years old,n =132) and non-aged group(< 70 years old,n =394).Statistical analysis was carried on the rate of two groups of preoperative risk factors(hypertension,diabetes,cardiac insufficiency,pulmonary insufficiency,cerebral infarction),surgical trauma and the number of lymph node dissection (laryngeal recurrent nerve injury,operation time,intraoperative blood loss),postoperative complications(cardiac complications,chylothorax,pulmonary complications,anastomotic fistula,poor healing of the incision,intrathoracic stomach atony),postoperative recovery and early postoperative mortality.Results Preoperative risk factors:the prevalence of the aged group with hypertension,cerebral infarction,cardiac insufficiency,and pulmonary insufficiency was significantly higher than the non-aged group (P < 0.05) but diabetes (P > 0.05).Surgical trauma and the number of lymph node dissection:no significant difference (P > 0.05).Postoperative complications:the aged group was higher in the incidence of pulmonary complications and cardiac complications than the other (P < 0.05) ; but the chylothorax,anastomotic fistula and poor healing of incision,intrathoracic stomach atony in the two groups seemed no significant difference(P > 0.05).Furthermore,pulmonary complications were highest in the all complications,significantly higher than the others in both groups.Postoperative recovery:significant difference existed in postoperative hospitalization days,the aged group was obviously longer than the non-age groups.Early postoperative mortality rates in the two groups had no significant difference.Conclusion The aged patiences had a higher prevalence in the preoperative risk factors and so was the cardiac complications as well as pulmonary complications among the postoperative complications.However the combined thoraco-laparoscopy in the surgical treatment of elderly patients with esophageal cancer is safe and feasible.
4.Relationship between the T staging of the seventh edition and lymph nodes metastasis of lung cancer

Objective The new lung cancer TNM staging for T staging the new grading.The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the T staging and grading of the Seventh Edition and lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.Methods In 513 cases of non-small cell lung cancer primary tumor size and lymph node metastasis were analyzed,and explore the situation of different size,lymph node metastasis in primary tumors.To analyse the collected data with SPSS software.Results The total lymph node metastatic rates in tumor diameter biggest ≤2 cm(T1a) 、2 cm < ~ ≤3 cm(T1b) 、3 cm < ~ ≤5 cm (T2a) 、5 cm < ~ ≤7 cm(T2b) 、> 7 cm(T3) were 14.47% 、28.89% 、37.59% 、36.37% 、37.89%.The lymph node metastatic rate of T1a was significantly different,compared with T1b 、T2a 、T2b and T3,respectively.There were no differences between every two groups of T1b,T2a,T2b and T3.The N1 metastaic rates of T1a 、T1b 、T2a 、T2b 、T3 were compared by chi-square(P <0.05),The lymph node metastatic rates of T1a and T2a (P =0.001),T1a and T2b (P =0.024).The N2 metastaic rates of T1a 、T1b 、T2a 、T2b 、T3 were compared by chi-square(P <0.05),The lymph node metastatic rate of T 1 a was significantly different,compared with T1b 、T2a and T2b,respectively.The lymph node metastatic rate of T1 b was significantly different,compared with T2a 、T2b and T3,respectively.Conclusion The new T staging of tumor the size of the new classification is associated with lymph node metastasis rate,especially in N2.low T la lymph node metastasis rate.
5.The clinical application of ultrafine chest drainage tube in uniport thoracoscope segmentectomy and lobectomy

Objective To compare the ultrafine chest drainage tube with traditional thick hose as lower tube after uniport thoracoscope pulmonary nodules resection(segmentectomy,lobectomy) and evaluate its efficacy and safety.Methods Ultrafine chest drainage tube was applied in 55 patients underwent uniport thoracoscopy pulmonary resection,and traditional thick closed drainage hose was applied in another 55 patients in the same period as the control group.Postoperative drainage quantity,drainage time,pain score and incision healing between two group were compared.Results No statistically difference was found in two groups at thoracic drainage quantity on 1 day,2 days postoperative and total drainage time.But statistically difference was found in thoracic drainage quantity on 3 days postoperative,pain score and incision healing(P <0.05).Conclusion Ultrafine chest drainage tube has little trauma,definite clinical effect and can be easily accepted by patients.
6.Correlation between the expression of miRNA-142-3p,mixed lineage kinase 3 and interleukin-1beta in nucleus pulposus and the degree of lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration

BACKGROUND:MicroRNA(miRNA)levels are closely related to cell apoptosis and proliferation,extracellular matrix metabolism and inflammatory response in intervertebral disc cells.However,the specific role of miR-142-3p in lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration remains unclear. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the correlation between the expression of miRNA-142-3p,mixed lineage kinase 3 and interleukin-1β in nucleus pulposus tissue and degree of human lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration. METHODS:A total of 82 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc degenerative diseases in Suzhou Ninth People's Hospital from January 2020 to March 2022 were collected as the study subjects,all of whom underwent MRI examination before operation.According to the Videman classification,the patients were divided into mild degeneration group(n=36),moderate degeneration group(n=26)and severe degeneration group(n=20).Eighty-two specimens of the nucleus pulposus were obtained.The mRNA expression of miRNA-142-3p as well as the mRNA and protein expression of mixed lineage kinase 3,interleukin-1β,type I collagen,type II collagen in nucleus pulposus tissue were detected by qPCR and western blot assay.The correlation between the degree of human lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration and the expression levels of miRNA-142-3p,mixed lineage kinase 3,and interleukin-1β was also assessed using the Spearman correlation coefficient method.Thirty adult Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into sham-operated group(executed after puncturing skin and muscle only),mild degeneration group(executed 1 week after puncturing Co7/8 segments)and severe degeneration group(executed 2 weeks after puncturing Co7/8 segments),with 10 rats in each group.After that,we detected the protein expression of mixed lineage kinase 3 and interleukin-1β as well as the gene expression of miRNA-142-3p,mixed lineage kinase 3 and interleukin-1β in the nucleus pulposus tissue. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In human nucleus pulposus tissue,the miRNA-142-3p expression ranked from high to low as follows:mild degeneration group>moderate degeneration group>severe degeneration group(P<0.05);the gene and protein expression of mixed lineage kinase 3 and interleukin-1β from low to high was as follows:mild degeneration group
7.Elevated level of renal xanthine oxidase mRNA transcription after nephropathogenic infectious bronchitis virus infection in growing layers.

To assess relationships between xanthine oxidase (XOD) and nephropathogenic infectious bronchitis virus (NIBV) infection, 240 growing layers (35 days old) were randomly divided into two groups (infected and control) of 120 chickens each. Each chicken in the control and infected group was intranasally inoculated with 0.2 mL sterile physiological saline and virus, respectively, after which serum antioxidant parameters and renal XOD mRNA expression in growing layers were evaluated at 8, 15 and 22 days post-inoculation (dpi). The results showed that serum glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase activities in the infected group were significantly lower than in the control group at 8 and 15 dpi (p < 0.01), while serum malondialdehyde concentrations were significantly higher (p < 0.01). The serum uric acid was significantly higher than that of the control group at 15 dpi (p < 0.01). In addition, the kidney mRNA transcript level and serum activity of XOD in the infected group was significantly higher than that of the control group at 8, 15 and 22 dpi (p < 0.05). The results indicated that NIBV infection could cause the increases of renal XOD gene transcription and serum XOD activity, leading to hyperuricemia and reduction of antioxidants in the body.

Objective To investigate the antimicrobial resistance and resistance profiles of Salmonella isolates,from the pork production chain in several districts of Sichuan province and to determine the correlation between serotype and the pulse field gel electrophoresis(PFGE)patterns. Methods From 2010 to 2011,a total of 112 Salmonella isolates from pork production chain were examined for their antimicrobial susceptibility,using the micro-dilution method against 10 antimicrobial agents. Results were assessed by the standard by the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI,2010). In addition,PFGE patterns were investigated among the Salmonella strains from different sources,under different serovars and antimicrobial profiles. Results For Salmonella isolated from the pork production chain,resistance to tetracycline(89.29%)was frequently observed. Many isolates were resistant to spectinomycin(36.61%),trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole(35.71%), nalidixic acid(33.93%)and ampicillin(24.11%),but all of the isolates were susceptible to ceftiofur. 33.93% of the isolates were multi-drug resistant. Salmonella isolates from the pork production chain had 19 antibiotic resistance profiles. Totally,34 PFGE patterns were detected among 74 Salmonella isolates from the pork production chain,with the PFGE patterns of the 74 Salmonella isolates sharing 40%to 100%similarities. Conclusion The antimicrobial resistances of the Salmonella isolates were commonly detected from the pork production chain in Sichuan province suggesting that Salmonella might horizontally spread from food animals to retail meat products.
9.Study on the medication rule and mechanism of treating cervical spondylosis by National TCM master Liu Bailing based on bioinformatics

Objective:To study the medication rules of treating cervical spondylosis by National TCM master Liu Bailing based on data mining and network pharmacology, and explore the potential action mechanism of its core compounds.Methods:By collecting the prescriptions of National TCM master Liu Bailing treating cervical spondylosis in the past 8 years, this paper analyses the frequency, nature, flavor, meridian, hierarchical clustering and association rules of those prescriptions by RStudio to obtain the core prescription. Then, the effective components of the core prescription were collected by using TCMSP, and the network of "medicine-component-target" was constructed by using Cytoscape 3.8.0; by searching for databases like GEO, DisGeNET, TTD HPO and Genecards were retrieved to obtain the target data set of cervical spondylosis; by using STRING 11.0 platform to construct protein interaction network; by using DAVID platform to cary out gene ontology (GO) and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis; by using Auto Dock software for molecular docking.Results:In the 844 prescriptions, there are 199 Chinese medicines and the properties are mainly warm, plain and cold; the flavors were mainly sweet, pungent and bitter; mainly belong to the liver, spleen, and kidney meridians. The Association Rule shows that the core compound is made up of Salvia miltiorrhiza, Gastrodia elata, Rhizoma corydalis, Alisma rhizoma, centipede, Astragalus membranaceus and Rhizome of Pueraria. Besides, 140 effective constituents and 247 targets of the core prescription were screened, and the main constituents were quercetin, kamanol, luteolin, tanshinone ⅡA, β-sitosterol, etc. 13 core targets among the core prescription treating cervical spondylosis were obtained, which were enriched into 30 pathways including toll-like receptor signaling pathway, TNF signaling pathway and HIF-1 signaling pathway. Conclusion:National TCM master Liu Bailing treatment of cervical spondylosis mainly focuses on expelling wind and relieving pain, dredging meridians and soothing tendons, and the mechanism of action of the core prescription may focus on inhibiting inflammatory response and relieving oxidative stress, providing guidance and reference for the clinical treatment of cervical spondylosis.

CONCLUSIONThe antimicrobial resistances of the Salmonella isolates were commonly detected from the pork production chain in Sichuan province suggesting that Salmonella might horizontally spread from food animals to retail meat products.
