Journal of Clinical Surgery 2015;(6):420-422
Objective To investigate the effects of standard large trauma craniotomy on neuron-specific enolase(NSE)inflammatory factors in patients withintracranial hematoma caused by severe trau-matic brain injury(sTBI).Methods A total of 64 cases of sTBI patients were randomly divided into con-ventional surgery group (conventional group)and standard large trauma craniotomy group (standard group),with 32 cases in each group. The postoperative Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS)score, preoperative and postoperativeserum inflammatory factors(IL-8,IL-6,TNF-α,ICAM-1 ,and IL-1 0),NSE levels, and postoperative complications were compared. Results The GOS score of the standard group was signifi-cantly superior tothe conventional group(P <0.05);postoperativeIL-6,TNF-α,ICAM-1 ,and NSE levels in the conventional group were significantly reduced(P <0.05);postoperativeIL-8,IL-6,TNF-α,ICAM-1 ,and NSE levels were significantly reduced and IL-1 0 levelswassignificantly improvedin the standard group(P <0.05);there were3 cases of postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage and four cases of inci-sional hernia in the conventional group, and two cases of postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage and three cases of incisional hernia in the standard group;there were no significant differencesin the incidence of postoperative complications in both groups(P >0.05 ).Conclusion Inflammatory factors and NSE both playimportant roles in sTBI.Standard large trauma craniotomycan control these indicators effectively and reduce the severity of the patient's illness.

Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 1998;(4):239-
OBJECTIVE: To determine the concentration of sodium L-lactate in sodium lactate injection. METHODS: Lactic oxidase was immobilized at a hydrogen peroxide electrode and the enzyme electrode was used for the amperometric determination of sodium L-lactate in sodium lactate injection. Sodium D, L-lactate in injection was analyzed by that technique according to Chinese Pharmacopoeia. RESULTS: The quantity of sodium L-lactate was about 10% in total amount of sodium D, L-lactate in sodium lactate injection. CONCLUSION: Sodium L-lactate in sodium lactate injection could be determined specially, rapidly and inexpensively.

Patients with advanced cancer often suffer from cachexia. The researches on cancer cachexis using Chinese medicine include theoretic and clinical studies. The thesis also includes:a systemic comparison to review the progress in recent years, a simple analysis on the problem and shortages of the researches, and a suggestion on the future direction,

Journal of China Medical University 2010;(3):224-227
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of laparotomy, transvaginal surgery, and lapaioscopic surgery in treating benign ovarian cyst. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 227 patients with benign ovarian cyst who underwent laparotomy, transvaginal surgery,or laparoscopic surgery. The duration of the operation, amount of blood loss, hospitalization time, anal exhaust time, temperature recovery time.outof-bed time, usage of analgesics, postoperative morbidity, and hospitalization cost were analyzed. Results There were significant differences in above indicators between the patients undergoing transvaginal surgery or laparoscopic surgery and those undergoing laparotomy. Conclusion Transvaginal surgery and laparoscopic surgery are minimally invasive and safe in treating benign ovarian cyst. These 3 surgical approaches have distinct advantages and disadvantages. The clinicians should choose the appropriate surgical approach for benign ovarian cyst according to the patient's condition.

Objective To study immune function of peripheral blood dendritic cells in chronic hepa titis B virus infected patients. Methods Peripheral blood DCs of patients and normal human were isolated and cultured in serum free media. The expression levels of DC surface molecule were analyzed by flow cytometry and the ability of DC to induce T lymphocyte proliferation were evaluated by a liquid scintillation counter and the amounts of cytokines in MLR were measured detected. Results The expression rate of CD86 (70.2?5.2)% on DC in patients was decreased compared with that in controls. (95.3?3.5)%, P

Objective To study the activation induced cell death(AICD) in peripheral blood T lymphocytes(PBL T) from patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB), and the role of AICD in the pathogenesis of chronic hepatitis B. Methods The PBL Ts of 14 patients were isolated with negative selection by magnetic beads, and cultured with or without anti CD3 mAb in the presence of PMA and ionomycin. The apoptosis of PBL T was observed by TUNEL staining and assessed by Flow Cytometry. Results In CHB patients, the apoptotic rate of PBL T activated with anti CD3 mAb was significantly higher than that of without activation (16.73%?0.99% vs. 9.74%?1.14%, P 0.05), and a negative correlation existed between the level of INF? and apoptotic rate of T cell( r =-0.87126, P

China Pharmacy 2007;0(27):-
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the utilization of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in our hospital and to provide reference for TCM pharmacy and rational use of TCM in the clinic.METHODS:1 052 outpatient prescriptions of TCM in our hospital from May to Oct.in 2009 were analyzed statistically by Microsoft Excel program.RESULTS:Prescriptions of respiratory system diseases in our hospital were mainly TCM prescription.TCM in middle-aged and aged group was a universal phenomenon. The ingredients in every prescription were excessive with high dosage.CONCLUSION:Clinicians and pharmacists should attach great importance on the application of TCM prescriptions to ensure safety and effectiveness of drug use.

Objective To investigate chromosomal gains and losses in association with human papillomavirus status in the vulvar squamous cell carcinomas(VSCC). Methods We analyzed 21 VSCC with comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) and polymerase chain reaction. Results Each case had different degree of variances, including gains and losses of partial or whole chromosome. On average, each case had 4.9(102/21) abnormal regions; losses were more than gains, being respectively 2.6(54/21) and 2.3(48/21). Main variations were gains on chromosomes 3q(43%,9/21),8q(38%,8/21),12q(33%, 7/21 )and 9p(19%,4/21),and losses of 4p(52%,11/21),3p(43%,9/21)and 9p(10%,2/21).Gains of 3q(73%) and 12q(64%) were significantly more common in human papillomavirus (HPV)-positive VSCC compared to HPV-negative VSCC(10%,0;P
