Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2017;30(3):333-336
The platelet gel (PG) is mainly made of platelet rich plasma (PRP), which has been increasingly and widely used as a source of growth factors .PG releases platelet derived growth factor , vascular endothelial cell growth factor , transforming growth factor β, epidermal growth factor , and insulin like growth factor 1.These growth factors are necessary for wound healing .Re-cently studies demonstrated that PRP and PG were effective in treating ulcers , burning, osteoarthritis and arthromeningitis .This article will review the bionomics , the mechanism of promoting wound healing and clinical applications of PG .
2.Research status of pluripotent stem cells from different origins
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2011;34(2):122-125
Pluripotent stem cells are type of cells that can differentiate into cells of ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm layers.Cells isolated from developing embryos such as embryonic stem cells, embryonic germ cells,as well as cells derived from adult tissues and bone marrow and testis, have been proved to be pluripotent.Recent studies demonstrated that differentiated cells from adult could be reprogrammed to become pluripotent by genetic manipulation. The characteristics of pluripotent cells from different origins are summarized in this review, and the possible relationship between those populations is discussed.
3.Diagnosis and treatment of drug-induced pancreatitis
Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2014;30(8):722-725
Drug-induced pancreatitis (DIP)belongs to gastrointestinal drug-induced diseases. With the wide use of drugs, the number of drugs that may induce DIP is increasing.Since there are not specific clinical indicators for detecting DIP or a complete diagnostic and thera-peutic process for DIP,its diagnosis is often missed. The epidemiology and pathogenesis of DIP,as well as drugs inducing DIP and their classifications, are reviewed. It is stressed that careful collection of medication history of DIP patients and timely discontinuation of suspected pharmacological agents are the key to diagnosis and treatment of this disease, and the patients should be informed of the related drugs that in-duce DIP to prevent its recurrence.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(08):-
Objective To fully understand the medicinal plants of Fritillaria L.,the physicochemical properties of starch in two species of Fritillaria L.,F.thunbergii and F.ussurensis.were investigated by means of various analytical methods. Methods The properties of starch in the two different species of Fritillaria L.were compared by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope(SEM) and themogravimetric analysis(TGA).Results The crystal type of starch in the two species of Fritillaria L.was the characteristic B-type which was in consistent with that of potato starch. The degrees of crystallinity of F.thunbergii starch and F.ussurensis starch were about 29.9% and 20.1%,respectively.However,the degree of crystallinity of the potato starch was 44.9%.From the crystallinity degree of the starch in two species of Fritillaria L.,it could be concluded that the content of amylose in F.ussurensis starch was higher than that in F.thunbergii starch. The granule size of the starch in two species of Fritillaria L.ranged from 5 to 40 ?m,which were all smaller than that of the potato. The starch granule in two species of Fritillaria L.was in cycloidal or elliptic-shape.It could be concluded that the thermal stability of the starch in two species of Fritillaria L.was different due to the different structures of different starch in various plants by TGA.Conclusion The physicochemical properties of starch in two different species of Fritillaria L.differ a lot due to their geographical origin.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(12):1914-1918
BACKGROUND:Host immune rejection is the main problem for nerve alograft in the repair of nerve defects. Therefore, how to avoid and minimize the immune rejection is the key to the success of nerve alografting. OBJECTIVE: To develop a new nerve pretreatment method by which Schwann cels and myelin can be removed from the peripheral nerve of dogs while the basilar membrane can be reserved integraly in order to obtain acelular nerve alografts. METHODS:Bilateral sciatic nerves from healthy adult dogs were taken and pretreated with the combined freeze-thaw and chemical methods folowed by microscopic observation of ultrastructural features, histological staining and western blot analysis of its ingredients. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Pretreated acelular nerves with good ductility and excelent epineurium toughness were empty basal lamina tubes with no Schwann cels, myelin and fragments that were al removed thoroughly, but the basilar membrane was fuly retained. These findings indicate that the optimized combination of freeze-thaw and chemical methods can efficiently clear Schwann cels and myelin which are the major antigenic components in the peripheral nerve, while preserve the basilar membrane to promote nerve regeneration. Therefore, this method can be an ideal method for preparation of tissue engineered nerves.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the etiological and epidemiological factors of critical and severe burn injuries,in tending to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention of critical and severe burn injury. Methods The clinical data of a total of 1 043 patients with critical and severe burn injury hospitalized from 1982 to 2006 were retrospectively analyzed, and the sex ratio, age distribution, etiological factors, injury sites, seazonal distribution, duration before hospitalization, complications and fatality of these patients were statistically analyzed. Results From 1982 to 2006,the number of burn patients admitted to our hospital presented an increasing trend, and the number of critical and severe burn patients increased obviously. The sex ratio(male/female) was 3.3∶1,and it obviously declined during the last 5 years. The proportion of infant and childhood patients presented a significantly increasing trend, occupying 41.2% of critical and severe burn patients in the last 5 years.Summer was the predominating season for occurrence of burn injury(40.3%),followed by spring(23.5%),autumn(22.4%) and winter(13.8%).54.8% of burn injury occurred in daily life, the remaining 45.2% of patients got burn injury in work, but the former reached 63.3% in the last 5 years.Heat was the main etiological factor, occupying 85.5%,of which flame was the most important cause, and hot fluid scald was increasing in recent years.Only 51.2% of the patients went to visit doctor within 6h after injury.21.0% of the patients were complicated with inhalation injury, and 17.7% was in shock when they came to the hospital. The fatality rate of critical and severe burns was reduced from 16.3 %(1982-1986) to 4.2%(2002-2006).Conclusions It is urgent to prevent critical and severe burns, especially in the youth and childhood.Information regarding prevention,self-aid and self-protection in fire accident should be actively spread among both the workers in industrial and mining enterprises and community inhabitants. The methods easy to use for shock prevention before hospitalization should be explored as early as possible.
