Objective To investigate the differences of curriculum designs for undergraduate nursing majors among different TCM colleges and universities; To provide evidence for the development of the accreditation standards for academic quality of baccalaureate degree program in TCM colleges and universities which can be used as the standards for teaching reform. Methods Cultivating plans of 20 TCM colleges and universities for undergraduate nursing majors were collected. Current status and deficiency in curriculum design were obtained through comparative study and statistical analysis. Results The course names were lack of standardization;proportion of Chinese and Western medicine related courses were unreasonable;theoretical and practice teaching were irrelevant;optional courses were greatly inconsistent and irrational. Conclusion The further reform of the curriculum design for the undergraduate nursing majors in TCM colleges and universities is in urgent need, which can be standardized by developing the accreditation standards for academic quality of baccalaureate degree program in universities of Chinese Medicine.

Objective To analyze and provide reference for developing clinical practice guidelines of ostomy care suitable for the domestic health care settings. Methods Content analysis method was used to analyze clinical practice guidelines searched from the Internet. Results A total of 13 clinical practice guidelines were included. All the guidelines were published between 2005 to 2016 without update. Four of them were evidence-based guidelines, the rest were not. A total of 21 items were identified as being related to ostomy care. Conclusions Although the existing clinical practical guidelines are instrumental to guiding clinical ostomy care practice, most of them were not evidence-based guidelines without high methodological quality. Meanwhile, some guidelines lack specific and updating recommendations for ostomy care, which may cause problems in ostomy care practice. What′s more, some recommendations may not suit for China because they were made in the foreign circumstance. Researchers and clinical nurses should develop local practice guidelines of ostomy care with consideration of the actual medical conditions in China and the best evidence.

Objective To explore the effects of the Blackboard platform in "Fundamentals of Nursing" teaching and students' actual experience after using the Blackboard platform. Methods A historical control study was conducted in College of Nursing of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from September 2015 to January 2016. In experimental group, 121 undergraduate nursing students of grade 2013 were taught by the combination of traditional classroom teaching and Blackboard platform. In control group, 130 undergraduate nursing students of grade 2012 were applied with traditional classroom teaching. After the course, examinations were performed to assess the theoretical knowledge and operational skills; and the self-made questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were conducted to evaluate the effects of the Blackboard platform in experimental group.ResultsThe theory examination scores of the experimental group was (76.74±8.68) while the control group was (73.09±8.11), there was a statistically significant difference between two groups (t=-3.44,P<0.05). The skill scores of experimental group and control group were 92.00 (90.00,93.00) and 92.00 (89.00,93.00) respectively. No significant difference in skill scores was observed between two groups (Z=0.41,P>0.05). Nursing students in experimental group had a high degree of satisfaction with the Blackboard platform. More than 90% nursing students considered that application of the Blackboard platform in "Fundamentals of Nursing" could arouse their enthusiasm of learning (90.68%), help them to better grasp the classroom learning content (95.76%) and improve the teaching effect (97.46%). Semi-structured interview results indicated that the nursing students believed that Blackboard platform were helpful to their learning, and made it more convenient to interact with teachers. Conclusions The teaching practice of "Fundamentals of Nursing" based on Blackboard platform can arouse nursing students' learning interest. The teaching model has achieved good effects in both learning and teaching. Nursing students are satisfied with the model. It is necessary to update and improve the Blackboard platform teaching model in time.

When electrical stimulation is generated by the electrode arrays of cochlear implant(CI),the cur-rent-voltage distribution in the cochlea can be recorded by the electrodes and reflected as impedance or transimped-ance.Transimpedance matrix(TIM)measurement is an objective measurement tool that utilizes the telemetry func-tion of the cochlear implant, which has shown clinical applicability in recent years for cochlear implantation.TIM of-fers convenient operation, speedy data processing, and accurate results, and has demonstrated potential application in the evaluation of electrode position intraoperatively, measurement of postoperative psychophysical loudness and assessment of neural excitation diffusion. We will introduce the principles and methods of TIM measurement and re-view the main research progress in the application of TIM measurement in cochlear implantation.
