Objective To observe the effect of Lipo PGE1 and Mecobalamine and Ginkgo-dipyidamolun in the treatment of dia-betic peripheral neuropathy. Methods 60 Patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were divided randomly into two groups; the control group (30 cases) and the treatment group (30 cases). The patients of the treatment group were given with Lipo PGE1 100 ?g dissolved in 0.9% normal saline solution 100ml once a day intravenously, and given mecobalamine 500 ?g once a day intramuscular, and given Ginko-dipyidamolum injection 20ml dissolved in 0.9% normal saline solution 250ml once a day intravenously; and in the control group were only given with mecobalamine 500?g once a day intramuscular. Nerve conduction velocity (MNCV and SNCV) in two groups of patients was observed after 14 days treatment. Results After treatment for 14 days, the subjective symptoms and signs were significantly improved with a total effective rate of 86.7% in the treatment group versus 56.7% in the control group. Compared with the control group, the total effective rates of treatment group was significantly higher (P

Treating Hepatic Malignancies with radio- frequency is a new microinvasive method which has been developed in recent years. The patients treated with this method felt less painfull and recover quickly after operation. The author has reported the detailed observaticn to 39 patients with hepatic carcinomas and cooperated with the doctors for patients'psychological nursing in this article. During the treatment, the author tried to explain the aim, method and treating effect of the operation, help the patients to relieve nervousness end worries, observe the patients' inoperative response under cardiopneumograph and guide the patients for the postoperative observation of complications so that the treatment was completed successfully. The author suggests that sentimental support is an important step in the whole course of nursing

Background:There is growing evidence that cytokines are the key elements in the initiation, evolution, and, ultimately, the resolution of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).Ahns:To investigate the differences of cytokine expressions in intestinal mucosa between IBD patients and normal controls. Methods:Thirty cases of colonoscopic or enteroscopic biopsied mucosal tissue were collected from 7 normal subjects,12 ulcerative colitis (UC),and 11 definite or suspicious Crohn's disease (CD) during Jan.2014 to Dec.2014 at Shanghai East Hospital South Branch.Using the suspension chip technology, expressions of 27 cytokines in mucosal tissues were detected. Results:Most of the cytokines in intestinal mucosa of patients with IBD were decreased as compared with the normal controls, whereas the expressions of interleukin-5 (IL-5) and IL-7 were increased.Among the 27 cytokines, statistically significant differences were seen in expressions of IL-1β,IL-2,IL-15,interferon-γ-induced protein-10 (IP-10),monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1),macrophage inflammatory protein-1α (MIP-1α) and MIP-1β between UC,CD and normal controls (P < 0.05);in addition, significant differences were seen in expressions of IL-8 and platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) between CD and normal controls (P < 0.05).No significant differences were observed in expressions of all 27 cytokines between UC and CD (P > 0.05),as well as between active and remission stages of IBD (P > 0.05).Conclusions:Expressions of IL-1β,IL-2,IL-15,IP-10,MCP-1,MIP-1α and MIP-1β are significantly down-regulated in intestinal mucosa of IBD patients. It may help to further explore the role of cytokines in IBD.

Objective:To design and implement a network-based quality management system for tumor radiotherapy. Methods:The system consists of B/S framework-based three-layer structures including the application layer, system service layer and data layer. It utilizes Nutz as the development framework to develop web applications, MySQL as the system database, Java programming language for system development, Tomcat as a system application server for project release and IE, Google and other mainstream browsers to achieve client access server functions. Results:The system can support integrated information management and service of quality control institutions at the provincial, municipal and county levels. The functions include procedure management, case management, quality control management, notification announcement, data management and system management, etc. The system has been set up and tested in the cooperation units, and the operation and function are in good condition. Conclusion:The system can support the assessment of online quality control, which is conducive to information analysis and sharing, promotes the standardization and normalization of quality control and improves work efficiency. Case management function can monitor the diagnosis and treatment processes of patients, establish continuous electronic record, deliver rational treatment and rehabilitation guidance plan, which play a pivotal role in the evaluation of tumor radiotherapy.

Background Arsenic, cobalt, barium, and other individual metal exposure have been confirmed to be associated with the incidence of kidney stones. However, there are few studies on the association between mixed metal exposure and kidney stones, especially in occupational groups. Objective To investigate the association between mixed metal exposure and kidney stones in an occupational population from a metal smelting plant. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect sociodemographic characteristics, medical history, and lifestyle information of
