Objective:To investigate the correlation between fluorescence emission and color difference (CIE△Eab). Methods:Color and spectral distribution in three kinds of modifying porcelains (Vita Interno, Shofu Vintage & Unibond, Noritake Super Porcelain EX-3) were measured on CIELAB color scale on Color-Eye 7000A spectrophotometer under four measuring modes. CIE△Eab were analyzed by two-way ANVOA and SNK-q test (?=0.05). Correlation analyses were also performed between CIE△Eab and the color parameters difference(?= 0.05). In addition, CIELAB color coordinate was established. Results:Fluorescence emission of Vita and Shofu, Vita and Noritake were significantly different(P

Objective To discuss clinical value of 64-slice spiral CT scanning in fast evaluation of severe multiple trauma. Methods A retrospective study was carried out on data of 72 multiple trauma patients diagnosed with systemic 64-slice spiral CT scanning in our hospital from January 2006 to June 2008.Of all,28 patients with traffic injuries,24 with falling injuries,10 with blunt injuries,6 with stab injuries and 4 with explosive injuries. Results There were 72 multiple trauma patients with mean scanning time of 10.2 seconds. The CT scanning showed both craniocerebral and thoracic injuries in 30 patients, brain injuries in 16,thoracoabdominal injuries plus pelvic injuries in 10,extremity and brain injuries in 14 and systemic soft tissue injuries in 2.Isotropic characteristics and postprocessing function of 64-slice spiral CT scanning could accurately diagnose and evaluate injury severity of multiple trauma. Conclusions 64-slice spiral CT scanning is a fast and effective method for fast evaluating injury severity of multiple trauma, for it can not only shorten checking time, reduce movements of the patients and relieve the pain of the patients, but also can avoid defects induced by respiratory movement and provide fairly integrated imaging materials by its isotropic characteristics and pestprecessing function.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effects of firing numbers on the total opening pore volume (TPV), translucency parameter (TP) and color of dental all-ceramic systems.
METHODSSpecimens of three kinds of all-ceramics systems were made, i.e. heat pressed all-ceramic (IPS Empress II), alumina all-ceramic (In-Cream alumina blanks) and zirconia all-ceramic (Cercon CAD/CAM zirconia). The specimens' TP, lightness (deltaL), chroma (deltaC) and TPV after 1, 3 and 5 firings were measured and calculated by spectrophotometer and surface area/porosity system. The data were analyzed statistically using SAS 8.0 software.
RESULTSThere were significant differences in TPV, TP, deltaL and deltaC for all-ceramic specimens at same number of firings (P<0.05), i.e. IPS>alumina and zirconia for TPV (P<0.05); IPS>zirconia>alumina for TP and deltaL (P<0.05); IPS and alumina>zirconia for deltaC (P<0.05). The significant differences also presented in TPV, TP, deltaL and deltaC for a same specimen at different number of firings (P<0.05). With increasing number of firings, TPV decreased, and TP, deltaL and deltaC increased gradually. There were negative linear correlation between number of firings and TPV, TP, deltaL and deltaC (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONRepeated firings will affect TP and deltaL of all-ceramic restorations via the change of TPV.

4.Adsorption dynamics study on interactions of pigments and human whole saliva.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2012;30(3):239-242
OBJECTIVEIn situ, real timely and dynamically monitoring the processes of theaflavin (TF), curcumin (Cur) and cyanidin (Cy) binding to human whole saliva (WS) surface has been investigated by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technique at the molecular level.
METHODSThe affinity between pigments and WS, association rate constant (k(a)), dissociation rate constant (k(d)), association equilibrium constant (K(A)) and dissociation equilibrium constant (K(D)) of pigments binding on WS surface had been determined by SPR and the Langmuir model as well as the Freundlich model. The data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and SNK-q test.
RESULTSThere were significant differences among TF, Cur and Cy in k(a), k(d), K(A) and K(D) (P<0.05). Our results showed that the adsorption isotherm of pigments on WS surface could be better described by the Freundlich model than the Langmuir model. The pigments adsorption on WS surface was dominant by specific interactions, such as hydrogen bonding. The affinity of pigments to WS were TF> Cur>Cy (P<0.05), as evidenced by the rate constants and equilibrium constants.
CONCLUSIONCompared with Cur and Cy, TF shows much higher adsorption capacity on WS surface, suggesting the importance of the hydroxyl group in pigment/protein interactions.

Objective:To explore the effect of laparoscopic surgery on postoperative rehabilitation and stress response of patients with colorectal cancer. Methods:From January 2018 to September 2019, 94 patients with colorectal cancer were selected in the General Hospital of Marine Police of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force. They were divided into observation group (47 cases) and control group (47 cases) according to the random digital table method. The observation group was treated with laparoscopic surgery, while the control group was treated with open surgery. The changes of perioperative indicators, postoperative rehabilitation indicators, postoperative complications and 24-hour stress response indicators were compared between the two groups. Results:The time of lymph node dissection and operation had no statistically significant differences between the two groups (all P>0.05). The amount of bleeding of the observation group [(153.61±27.58)mL] was less than that of the control group [(271.32±23.25)mL] ( t=22.371, P<0.05). In the observation group, the exhaust time [(43.27±6.18)h] and the recovery time of bowel sounds [(20.31±3.28)h] were faster than those in the control group [(67.38±9.91)h and (34.54±5.17)h] ( t=14.153, 15.934, all P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group (4.26%) was lower than that in the control group (21.28%) (χ 2=6.114, P<0.05). The serum levels of norepinephrine (NE) [(92.13±10.45)μg/L], C-reactive protein (CRP) [(17.38±3.01)mg/L] and Cor [(137.87±23.15)μg/L] in the observation group were lower than those in the control group [(136.27±15.42)μg/L, (26.73±2.34)mg/L and (185.42±27.39)μg/L] ( t=16.245, 16.813, 9.090, all P<0.05). Conclusion:Laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer has good effect on patients with colorectal cancer. It can speed up postoperative rehabilitation and reduce stress response. It is worthy of popularizing.
