Objective To use diagnosis related group (DRGs ) for the first time in overall evaluation of inpatient service performance evaluation of major diagnostic category (MDC)for all the Beijing municipal hospitals, and recommend how to strengthen Beijing municipal hospitals system in diagnosis and treatment ability of main diseases and improve inpateint service performance. Methods BJ-DRGs burster software was used to analyze the first page information of the medical records of cases discharged from all the Beijing municipal hospitals between 2012 and 2014 to determine the weight of each DRG,and based on such weight the related indicators of such hospitals and central hospitals in 2012, 2013,2014 were compared and analyzed. Results Improvements were found in such indices as diagnosis and treatment difficulty of 50% MDC,time efficiency of 81.8% MDC,cost efficiency of 77.3% MDC, and general capacity of 54.5% MDC for all Beijing municipal hospitals. In addition, the municipal hospitals were found superior to the central hospitals in such indices as cost efficiency of 68.2% MDC, and time efficiency of 59.1% MDC.On the other hand however, they were found inferior to the central hospitals in such indices as diagnosis and treatment difficulty of 72.7% MDC,and the comprehensive ability index of the two systems were found equivalent.Another finding was that there was no obvious improvement of the coverage of disease types at major tertiary hospitals in Beijing for the past three years.Municipal hospitals of greater contribution of MDC weight were highly consistent with the hospitals assigned with national key projects of disciplinary developments. Conclusion The comprehensive evaluation results of inpatient service performance of main diseases at Beijing’s municipal hospitals based on DRGs system, showed that the Beijing’s hospital authority had played an important role in improving inpatient service performance especially in reducing the burden of patients, improving the service efficiency through increasing government investment, optimizing service organization and implementation of performance management. But it also suggested that measures such as collectivize construction and management should be taken to improve municipal hospitals’linical specialty ability, improve the MDC diagnosis and treatment difficulty, and resume their functions of tertiary hospitals.

Objective To evaluate the methods in early warning of schistosomiasis and elimination of snails in an ecological public forest in Yexie Town of Songjiang District, and provide the basis for monitoring and controlling snails in forest land in the future. Methods The monitoring data of snails, schistosomiasis and snail elimination in the public forest were collected to evaluate the effect of controlling snails. Results The area with existence of snails was found to be 10.47 hm2, and it was decreased by 98.28% after three times of snail elimination.A total of 1 904 serological tests was performed (test rate of 88.76%) with the positive rate of 0.16%.Pathogenic test result was negative in 3 subjects examined.Serological samples of 11 dogs and 1 sheep were all negative for the test.None of the 1 480 live snails tested was found to be positive in infection. The awareness rate of schistosomiasis control knowledge and behavior formation in 275 students were 98.2% and 95.3%, respectively. Conclusion The snails in the public forest in Yexie Town have been effectively controlled, but there are still scattered living snails. The measures in eliminating and monitoring of snails should be continued and strengthened.

Objective To study the correlation between traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution and pathogenic factors in patients with ankylosing spondylitis(AS).Methods One hundred patients of AS and their family members who had medical consultation in the Fifth Hospital of Xi'an(i.e.,Shaanxi Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine)in August 2019 and September 2020 were selected as the study subjects. The guidelines of Classification and Determination of Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution issued by the China Association of Chinese Medicine were adopted to determine the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution types of the study subjects. The sociodemographic information, living habits, clinical symptoms, and TCM constitution types of the AS patients and their family members were collected by means of questionnaires and clinical investigations, and then the pathogenic factors of the patients with AS were investigated. The binomial Logistic regression model was used to analyze the correlation between TCM constitution types and pathogenic factors in patients with AS.Results(1)Among the 100 AS patients, the majority of them had the biased constitutions, and the biased constitutions with the occurrence frequency in descending order were yang deficiency constitution,qi deficiency constitution, and damp-heat constitution, which accounted for 33.00%,14.00%,and 18.00%,respectively.(2)The prevalence rates of AS in the first-,second-,and third-degree relatives of AS patients were 56.25%,40.00%and 25.00%,respectively.For the positive rates of human leukocyte antigen B27(HLA-B27)in AS patients and their family members,HLA-B27 in AS patients was all positive, while the positive rates of HLA-B27 in the first-,second-,and third-degree relatives of AS patients were 44.31%,30.67%and 15.63%,respectively.(3)The results of regression analysis showed that the disease duration of AS patients was significantly correlated with qi deficiency constitution, the grading of sacroiliac arthritis was correlated with qi stagnation constitution, and age was correlated with blood stasis constitution(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The results indicated that disease duration and age were the important factors affecting the constitution types of AS patients, and disease duration was closely related to qi deficiency while age was closely related to blood stasis. Conclusion AS is a highly hereditary autoimmune disease, and its onset is associated with HLA-B27.Yang deficiency is the basic constitution type of AS,and damp-heat constitution is the main constitution type in the progression of AS(especially in the active stage of the disease). The prolongation of the disease will exacerbate the illness condition of AS and then the manifestations of qi deficiency will be more obvious.

Aim To investigate the effect of dihydromyricetin (DHM) on lipid accumulation in liver of obese mice induced by high fat diet and its mechanism. Methods Sixty C57BL/6J mices were randomly divided into six groups (n = 10); (1)ND group; normal diet, (2)ND + L-DHM group; normal diet and treatment with low-dose DHM (125 mg • kg
