Objective To compare the efficacies and indications of locking compression plate (LCP) and external fixator plus Kirschner wires in treatment of complex intra-articular fracture of the dis-tal radius. Methods Ninety-eight patients with complex intra-articular fractures of the distal radius were treated with volar LCP or external fixator plus Kirschner wires, the efficacies of which were evaluated by comparing the grasping force and wrist function of the patients. Results All the patients were fol-lowed up for an average of 12.4 months, which showed fracture healing in all the patients. According to the wrist function assessment system of New York Orthopedic Hospital (1990), there was no statistical difference in the efficacy of LCP and external f'lxator plus Kirschner wires in treatment of types C1 or C2 fractures (P > 0.05), while the efficacy of external fixator plus Kirschner wires was significantly superior to that of LCP in treating type C3 fracture (P < 0.05). Conclusions For types C1 or C2 intra-articu-lar fractures of the distal radius, the efficacies of LCP and external fixator plus Kirschner wires are simi-lar, while the efficacy of external fixator plus Kirschner wires is superior to that of LCP in treating type C3 intra-articular fracture of the distal radius.

Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of serum GP73 combined with Dickkopf-1 and AFP in hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:117 cases of hepatocellular carcinoma in our hospital were collected as hepatocellular carcinoma group,80 patients with hepatitis B virus as the hepatitis group, and randomly selected 80 healthy subjects as the control group from September 2014 to September 2016.The serums GP73,Dickkopf-1,AFP level of every group were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA),and the relationship between the GP73,Dickkopf-1,AFP between clinicopathological features were analyzed, the diagnostic value of GP73,Dickkopf-1 and AFP in hepatocellular carcinoma were analyzed. Results:The serums GP73,Dickkopf-1,AFP level of hepatocellular carcinoma group were higher than those of hepatitis group, control group, and the serum AFP level of hepatitis group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The GP73,Dickkopf-1,AFP in patients with classification B~C were higher than those in classification A among the Child Pugh classification, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).No statistical significance on difference of GP73,Dickkopf-1,AFP between different differentiation, tumor size, number of tumors was found (P>0.05).The sensitivity, specificity, positice predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of GP73+Dickkopf-1+AFP in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma were higher than those of GP73,Dickkopf-1,AFP respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Serums GP73,Dickkopf-1,AFP in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma have high expression levels, combined with the three indicators can obviously improve the diagnostic value of hepatocellular carcinoma, which has clinically important reference value.

[Objective]To investigate the value of degree centrality(DC),a novel resting-state fMRI parameter,in voxel-wise whole-brain functional networks analysis in primary insomnia(PI)after acupuncture therapy.[Methods]The resting state fMRI were performed in 29 PI patients and 22 age, education, and sex-matched normal healthy subjects. Analysis of DC map changes between the two patient groups and the control group were performed by two sample t test.(threshold at P<0.05).[Results]Compared with the control group, patients with PI showed significantly reduced DC value in middle temporal gyrus(MTG. R);hippocampus(HIP. B);parahippocampal gyrus(PHG. R);putamen(PUT. R);cuneus(CUN. L).[Conclusions]Changes of DC value occurred in some region of brain in the PI patient groups when compared with the control group. It was indicated that DC ,as a novel resting-state fMRI parameter in the voxel-wise whole-brain functional networks ,might be an appealing alternative approach for further study on pathologic and neuropsychological states of PI.

The paper is to report the establishment of a method for the determination of multi-residue organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticides in traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs). Fifty-six pesticides were extracted by high-speed homogenization, and then purified through gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges. The residues were simultaneously identified and quantified by GC-ECD equipped with dual tower, dual column and two micro-ECD detectors. The analytical performance was demonstrated by the analysis of 3 TCMs samples' extracts, spiked at three concentration levels for each pesticide. In general, the recoveries ranging from 70% to 110%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) better than 15%, were obtained. The limit of detection (LOD) for most of the targeted pesticides tested was below 0.01 mg kg(-1). The method had good extraction efficiency, purification effect and good reproducibility, which could be applied to the determination of organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticide residues in the routine analysis of TCMs.

AIM: The multi-residues method was used to determine organophosphorus pesticides in traditional Chinese herbal medicines (TCHMs).METHODS: Fifty three pesticides were extracted by high-speed homogenization, and then cleaned sequentially by C_(18) and Carb/NH2 solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges. The residues were simultaneously identified and quantified by GC-FPD equipped with dual tower, dual column and two FPD detectors.RESULTS: The analytical performance was demonstrated by the analysis of 6 TCHMs samples extracts, spiked at three concentration levels for each pesticide. In general, the recoveries ranging from 70% to 120%,with relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 15%,were obtained. The limit of detection (LOD) for most of the targeted pesticides tested was below 0.01 mg/kg.CONCLUSION: The method has good extraction efficiency, purification effect and good reproducibility, which can be applied to the determination of organophosphorus pesticide residues in the routine analysis of TCHMs.

OBJECTIVETo study the values of immunohistochemistry using T-cell lymphoma antibody (TCL) 1 and CD44 in the diagnosis of Burkitt's lymphoma.
METHODSImmunohistochemical study for TCL1, CD44, CD10, bcl-2, bcl-6, c-myc and Ki-67 was performed on paraffin-embedded sections of lymphoma cases, including 25 cases of Burkitt's lymphoma and 25 cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
RESULTSBurkitt's lymphoma commonly expressed TCL1 (96%, 24 cases), CD10 (88%, 22 cases), bcl-6 and c-myc (92%, 23 cases). Only 1 case (4%) expressed CD44 and bcl-2. The Ki-67 proliferation index ranged from 95% to 100%. On the other hand, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma expressed CD44 (84%, 21 cases), CD10 (32%, 8 cases), bcl-6 (72%, 18 cases) and bcl-2 (72%, 18 cases). Four cases (16%) were weakly positive for TCL1. The staining for c-myc was all negative. The Ki-67 proliferation index ranged from 40% to 90%.
CONCLUSIONImmunohistochemical staining for TCL1 and CD44 is a useful ancillary tool in the pathologic diagnosis of Burkitt's lymphoma which is also helpful for the differential diagnosis from diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
