Salvia miltiorrhiza is a traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases .Recently, increasing evidence demonstrates that the water-soluble compounds isolated from Salvia miltiorrhiza, including tanshinol and salvianolic acid B, exert a regulatory influence on bone metabolism .The under-lying mechanism of these compounds involves various pathways , such as Wnt/β-catenin, ERK, BMP, OPG/RANKL/RANK and FoxO mediated oxidative stress pathway .This paper reviews pre-vious effects and mechanism of polyphenolic acids in Salvia milt-iorrhiza , which may provide the base for the research and devel-opment of the new agents to treat osteoporosis .

Objective To investigate the safety and effectiveness of endoscopic resection of tumors originated from gastric fundus muscularis propria. Methods Data of 53 patients with tumors originated from gastric fundus muscularis propria detected by endoscopic ultrasonograpy, treated by endoscopic resection and followed up at our hospital between January 2012 and June 2014 were reviewed. The postoperative pathology and complications were retrospectively analyzed to evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety. Results The procedure was successfully performed on all patients and all lesions were removed in one procedure. The lesion size ranged from 0.5 to 4.5 cm and the operation time was 25-155 min[mean(46.7 ±18.2)min].Mild bleeding (5 ~150 ml)occurred in all cases, which was successfully managed by argon plasma coagulation, hot biopsy probe or endoclip.Perforation occurred in 8 patients(8 /53),seven of whom were closed with titanium clips and titanium clips combined with nylon cord.Laparoscopic intervention was applied to 1 case because of severe perforation.Gastrointestinal decompression, acid suppression with proton pump inhibitors and antibiotics were performed on all cases. No severe hemorrhage occurred. The average length of hospitalization was (5.3 ± 1.4)days(3-14 d).Pathology confirmed 46 cases of gastrointestinal stromal tumors and 7 cases of leiomyoma. The patients were followed up for 3 to 27 months, and no tumor residue or recurrence was observed. Conclusion Endoscopic resection is a method not only to get the accurate pathologic diagnosis but also to meet principle of the local resection for stomach. It is safe, effective and worthy of recommendation.

Objective To observe the effect of JIN’s three needle therapy plus mirror therapy for knee joint movement on lower-limb function of patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction.Method Seventy-four patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 37 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by JIN’s three needle therapy plus mirror therapy for knee joint movement, while the control group was by mirror therapy for knee joint movement alone. After 4-week treatment, the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) and modified Barthel Index (MBI) were adopted for evaluating motor function of the affected limb and the activities of daily living (ADL), the Functional Ambulation Category scale (FAC) for assessing the walking ability, and the Twichell-Brunnstrom Stages of Stroke Recovery for determining the stage of post-stroke hemiplegia. Result After the intervention, the FMA and MBI scores were significantly changed in both groups (P<0.05). The changes of FMA and MBI scores in the treatment group after the treatment were significantly different from those in the control group (P<0.05). After the treatment, there were significant between-group differences in comparing the FAC and Brunnstrom grading results (P<0.05).Conclusion JIN’s three needle therapy plus mirror therapy for knee joint movement is an effective approach in treating hemiplegia after cerebral infarction, and it can improve the lower-limb motor function and the ADL.

Objective:To explore the effect of time-sensitive incentive nursing on psychological resilience, quality of life, nursing satisfaction and disease cognition of postoperative patients with chronic sinusitis (CS) .Methods:From January 2019 to July 2020, the convenience sampling method was used to select 60 postoperative patients with CS who were admitted to Fuyang Hospital of Anhui Medical University as the research objects. Patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group carried out conventional nursing, and the observation group was given conventional nursing combined with time-sensitive incentive nursing. The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) , the Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36) dimensions of mental health, general health, physical functioning and role emotional were used to compare the psychological resilience and quality of life of the two groups of patients before and after nursing. Disease cognition and nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients after nursing were compared. Results:The scores of the CD-RISC dimensions, disease cognition, four dimensions of the SF-36, and nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group after nursing were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.01) . Conclusions:The application of time-sensitive incentive nursing in postoperative patients with CS can improve their psychological resilience, disease cognition, quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
