Objective To analyze the National Natural Science Foundation-supported papers on oncology published by domestic authors from 2013 to 2015 and existed problems. Methods The key words in the National Natural Sci-ence Foundation-supported papers on oncology published by domestic authors from 2013 to 2015 and SCI-covered journals and Chinese institutions that published the National Natural Science Foundation-supported papers on on-cology from 2013 to 2015 were analyzed by bibliometrics. Results The number of the National Natural Science Foundation-supported scientific projects and funds, the number of the National Natural Science Foundation-sup-ported papers on oncology published by domestic authors, and the academic level of SCI-covered journals that pub-lished the National Natural Science Foundation-supported papers on oncology from Chinese authors increased year by year from 2013 to 2015 . General and medical colleges and universities with affiliated hospitals or national key laboratories were the leading force in oncology. The hot spots in oncology were focused on basic research and malig-nant tumors. Conclusion The National Natural Science Foundation plays an active role in promoting the develop-ment of oncology in China. Although it-supported papers on oncology published by domestic authors increase year by year, problems are still existed, such as imbalance of institutions that publish papers on oncology and insuffi-cient influencing power of papers published by domestic authors.

This paper introduces how TiO2 film was prepared on pure titanium by anodic oxidation. Surface morphology and composition of the oxide film were analyzed by SEM coupled with EDAX. The deposition ability of hydroxyapatite of the anodized titanium in simulated body fluid (SBF) at 37 degrees C was evaluated. The results indicated that the oxide film was rough and honeycomb holes, connecting with each other, could be found on the surface. The holes with the diameter of 1-2 microm were distributed uniformly, which was typical for anodic oxidation. After alkaline treatment, hydroxyapatite deposition on the oxidized specimens in SBF was improved significantly.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the frequency of peripheral blood natural killer cells (NK) and HLA-Cw alleles in liver cirrhotic patients with chronic HBV infection and a-cute hepatitis B patients. Methods Thirty liver cirrhotic patients and 30 patients with acute hepatitis B were included in our study, and 41 healthy individuals were enrolled as controls. The numbers of circulating NK cells and activated NK ceils were analyzed by flow cytometry. HLA-Cw genotyping was conducted with polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific oligonucleotide (PCR-SSO). Results The numbers of circu-lating NK cells and activated NK cells in liver cirrhotic patients were 13.22% ± 4.61% and 45.68% ± 14.64%, which was lower than that in healthy subjects (P < 0.05). The numbers of circulating NK cells and activated NK cells in acute hepatitis B patients were 22.62% ± 3.70% and 65.28%± 14.45%, which was higher than that in healthy subjects(P < 0. 05). There were statistically significant differences between the two groups(P < 0.01). The allele frequency of HLA-Cw * 15 in the patients with cirrhosis was signifi-cantly higher than that in the healthy (P < 0.05), and there was a significant negative correlation between the frequency of HLA-Cw * 15 and the numbers of activated NK cells in liver cirrhosis(r =4). 862, P < 0.05). No statistically significance was found between the group of acute hepatitis B and healthy subjects a- bout HLA-Cw(P > 0. 05). Conclusion The function of NK cells in liver cirrhotic patients is low, HLA-Cw * 15 gene may be one of the causes of effecting the antiviral function of NK ceils to induce the persistence of hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection.

Objective To know the cognition status of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) related knowledge in patients receiving13C urea breath examination, so as to provide basis of further targeted health education for health care provider.Methods Convenient sampling method was adopted and a self-designed Hp related knowledge questionnaire was used to survey 160 patients who received13C urea breath examination. Results Totals of 160 questionnaires were sent out and 146 of them were withdrew, so the effective rate was 91.25%. The cognition of patients who received13C urea breath examination in four dimensions of Hp related knowledge was not high, and the average value was 51.3%. The highest cognition (80.1%) was in the item of " I need review after the course of treatment" ; the lowest cognition (22.6%) was in the item of "drinking unboiled water may be infected with Hp". There were significant differences in Hp related knowledge among people with different educational backgrounds and the number of times examined (P<0.05).Conclusions The average cognition of the Hp related knowledge of the patients who received13C urea breath examination is not high. There are differences in the level of knowledge in patients with different education level and the times of check. It is necessary to carry out individualized health education for patients receiving examinations, and the guidance and propaganda of prevention and treatment of Hp infection should be strengthened so as to promote the formation of healthy behaviors.

We coated a thin TiO2 film on the surface of Ni-Ti shape memory alloy by activated sputter method in the present work. The blood platelet adherence and antithrombogenicity of the TiO2-coated Ni-Ti alloy were evaluated. The results showed that the platelets on the TiO2-coated Ni-Ti alloy were fewer than those on 316L stainless steel, and no agglomeration or distortion for the platelets on the coated alloy was found, which means less probability of blood coagulation for the alloy. The coagulation time on the coated Ni-Ti shape memory alloy was longer than that on the 316L. Compared with that on the 316L stainless steel, the TiO2 coated Ni-Ti shape memory alloy showed better blood compatibility, indicating that the Ni-Ti alloy with TiO2 coating is a kind of ideal biomedical materials with high clinical value.

OBJECTIVETo study the dose-response relationship between the quantitative morphological stereology on thyroid and different iodine doses in mice.

METHODSWeaning Kunming mice were randomly divided into seven groups. The mice were fed for 100 days with distilled water containing different KIO3 concentrations, i.e. 50, 250, 500, 1 000, 1 500, 2 000, and 3 000 microgram/L respectively. The 50 microgram/L (proper iodine concentration) group was control group, and the groups of 250 approximately 3 000 microgram/L were high iodine groups. The stereology parameters of thyroid follicle and follicular cavities were measured with HPIAS-1000 (High Resolution Pathological Image & word Analysis System). The stereology parameters included mean surface, volume on area, volume on circumference, specific surface, numerical density on area, spherical factor, the percentage of mean surface and mean volume of the follicular epithelial cell in thyroid follicle was further calculated.

RESULTSPositive correlations was observed between the thyroid absolute and relative weight, goiter rate and different iodine doses. And the thyroid absolute and relative weight of mice in the 250 microgram/L group was significantly different from that in 50 microgram/L group. The goiter rate of mice in different high iodine groups was in conformity with that of epidemiological investigation. The goiter rate of mice in 500 microgram/L group was different from that in 50 microgram/L group. Positive correlations were observed between mean surface, volume on area, volume on circumference, spherical factor and iodine doses, but the negative correlations were observed between numerical density on area, specific surface, the percentage of mean surface and mean volume of the follicular epithelial cell in thyroid follicle and iodine doses.

CONCLUSIONSWhen Iodine doses are between 250 approximately 3 000 microgram/L, the dose-response relationship was observed between the morphological stereology parameters of thyroid follicle and follicular cavities and iodine doses, and when the dose of iodine is 250 microgram/L, it is possible to induce colloid goiter of mice. The goiter rates of mice resulted by different high iodine doses were in conformity with that of the epidemiological investigation of people.

Objective: To describe the MICM (morphology, immunology, cytogenetics and molecular biology) characteristics of a case of acute myelomonocytic leukemia M 4C . Methods: The medical history data of the case of M 4C admitted to our hospital was reviewed. The results of bone marrow cell morphology, cytochemical stains, bone marrow biopsy, immunophenotype, cytogenetics, molecular test and NGS (next-generation sequencing) of the case were analyzed. Results: The bone marrow smear showed markedly active proliferation of bone marrow cells in which the myelomonocytic cells accounted for 85.6%. Cytochemical stains showed peroxidase (POX) stain partially and weakly positive; specific esterase AS-DCE partially positive; non-specific esterase α-NBE partially positive and smothered by sodium fluoride; non-specific esterase AS-DAE partially positive and smothered by sodium fluoride. Bone marrow biopsy showed hyperproliferative cells and diffused hyperplasia of blasts. Immunophenotype analysis showed that the abnormal cell population was positive for CD11B, CD64, CD56, cMPO, CD33, CD41, CD61, CD38 and CD58, but negative for CD13, CD34, CD117, CD7, CD123, HLA-DR, CD10, CD19, CD20, CD2, CD14, CD235, CD15, CD303, CD304, CD25, cCD79a, cCD3, cCD22, CD1a and TDT. Cytogenetic analysis showed 47, XY, t(9;11) (p22;q23),+mar. The molecular test for leukemia showed MLLT3/KMT2A gene rearrangement. NGS showed NRAS and TET2 mutation. The case was finally diagnosed as AML (acute myelomonocytic leukemia) M 4C with t(9;11)(p22;q23), MLLT3-KMT2A. Conclusion Leukemia M 4C may show the characteristics of both granulocytes and monocytes with complex morphological features. The combined examination of MICM should be necessary for the diagnosis of M 4C with great significance.
