BACKGROUND:Mini-screw stability is primarily related to alveolar bone cortical thickness. It is necessary to learn cortical thickness to choose suitable implanting sites and predict success rate. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the buccal cortical thickness in maxilary posterior area of Class II Division I malocclusion adolescents. METHODS: Fifty-two adolescents (including 26 male and 26 female) of Class II Division I malocclusion scanned by Cone Beam Computer Tomography were involved in this study. The buccal cortical thickness of six posterior interradicular sites (14-15, 15-16, 16-17, 24-25, 25-26, 26-27) at four bone levels (2, 4, 6, 8 mm) from the alveolar crest in both boys and girls were measured. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) There was no statisticaly significant difference in alveolar cortical thickness between left and right sides in the girls (P > 0.05); cortical thickness of 5-6 and 6-7 at 8 mm was thicker than that at 2 mm (P < 0.05) and cortical thickness of 6-7 at 2 mm was smaler than that at 8 mm (P < 0.05). The cortical thickness increased from crest to base of alveolar crest and reached the peak at 8 mm. Cortical thickness of 6-7 was thicker than 4-5 at 8 mm depth (P < 0.05). The results of males were the same as females. (2) There was no statisticaly significant difference in alveolar cortical thickness of the same site between males and females (P > 0.05). Al sites in this study were suitable for mini-screw implantation; from the first molar to posterior dental arch, buccal cortical thickness is wel-distributed; it is dangerous for implantation in the areas around the first molar more than 6 mm, where the frequent presence of the maxilary sinus is observed. There is an increase of buccal cortical thickness from crest to base of alveolar crest, obtaining good initial stability.

Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention and evaluate its role in the entire clinical course of in the treatment of children with severe burns. Methods A total of 60 children with 1-5 years old with clinical diagnosis of severe burns were randomly divided into experimental group and control group by random digits table method, 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine burn care. The experimental group received comprehensive nursing interventions on the basis of routine burn care and the intervention time covered the entire course of treatment. During hospitalization, the recovery and family social system were evaluated by anxiety scales and social support scales combined with the cure rate and hospitalization of children. Results Before intervention, the score of Anxiety Rating Scale was high in both groups of families, while Social Support Scale was lower, the difference was not statistically significant between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the score of Anxiety Rating Scale and was Social Support Scale were (52.31±7.81), (31.52± 5.48)points in the experimental group, and (62.51 ± 6.52), (23.62 ± 5.62) points in the control group, and there were significant differences (t=5.491 3, 5.512 5, P<0.01). The length of stay was (18.34±3.58) d in the experimental group, and (21.82 ± 4.23) d in the control group, and there was significant difference(t=3.439 6, P<0.05). The cure rate was 93.33%(28/30) in the experimental group, and 56.67%(17/30) in the control group, and there was significant difference(χ2=10.755 6, P<0.05). Conclusions The comprehensive nursing intervention can provide comprehensive refinement of the overall care in children and their families, promote physical and psychological rehabilitation of children with severe burns, and repair their family and social support systems. The comprehensive nursing intervention has far-reaching implications for the rehabilitation of children with severe burns.

Objective To explore prevention and cure effects of the freeze-dried human fibrin glue as the way of the lacrimal duct embolization on xerophthalmia in perimenopausal female rabbit.Methods A total of 72 female rabbits,after anti infection treatment and were cut off third eyelid,were made into perimenopausal xerophthalmia rabbit models.After surgery,all of these rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups (12 rabbits per group):No treatment group after surgery (group A),PBS prevention group (group B),freeze-dried human fibrin prevention group (group C);no treatment group after modeling (modeling time:Two weeks after surgery,group D),PBS treatment group (group E),freeze-dried human fibrin treatmentgroup (group F).The Schirmer test (SIT),corneal fluorescein (FL) and corneal confocal microscope were performed before and 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks after injection.Results There were statistical differences in FL score and SIT in group A,group B and group C among different time points (F =27.346,10.608;P =0.000,0.001);There were statistical differences between FL scores and SIT among three groups (F =7.579,6.786;P =0.002,0.007);There was significant difference in FL scores and SIT trends among three groups(F =44.897,3.424;P =0.000,0.045).The FL score and SIT of group D,group E and group F were significantly improved after treatment for 2 weeks,4 weeks and 6 weeks,the differences were statistically significant (t =2.906,3.654,4.504;P =0.022,0.017,0.013.t =4.573,5.759,7.231;P =0.032,0.019,0.008);The difference between FL score and SIT in group E and group F was statistically significant after treatment (t =2.776,4.124,5.324;P =0.032,0.026,0.017.t =1.969,3.122,4.324;P =0.038,0.023,0.009).After injection of 6 weeks,the epithelial basal cells (F =17.306,P =0.002) and inflammatory cells (F =34.024,P =0.000) of group A,B and C were significant changed,the differences were statistically significant.After injection of 6 weeks,the epithelial basal cells (F =3.749,P =0.042)and inflarnmatory cells(F=8.806,P =0.005) of group D,E and F were significant changed,the differences were also statistically significant.Conclusion Lacrimal duct embolization with freeze-dried human fibrin glue is effective for the xerophthalmia.

Objective To analyze the thickness of cornea and corneal epithelium in healthy subjects by optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA).Methods Totally 100 healthy subjects aged between 20 and 30 years were analyzed by OCTA technique.Using AngioVue OCTA system of retinal imaging mode,and using SSADA algorithm for imaging,the cornea and the corneal epithelium in the central corneal diameter range of 9 mm were measured.The differences of corneal and corneal epithelial thickness in different gender regions were compared.Results In the male and female group,the corneal central total thickness were (559.92 ±33.26) μm and(540.06 ±31.63)μm,and the corneal epithelial thickness were(57.78 ±4.88) μm and(56.88 ±4.57) μm,The total central corneal thickness and central corneal epithelial thickness of the male were greater than those of the female,the difference was statistically significant (t =3.06,2.10;all P ＜ 0.05).The cornea of male was the thickest at S5,S7 and SN9,there were significant differences at S5 and S7 compared with female (t =2.93,2.83;all P ＜ 0.05);The female cornea was the thickest at S5,SN7 and SN9,and the difference was significant at S5 compared with male.The cornea of male subjects was the thinnest at IT,which was statistically significant only at IT5 compared with female subjects in the same area (t =2.02,P ＜ 0.05);The cornea of female subjects was the thinnest at T5,IT7 and T9,which was statistically significant only at T5 and T9 compared with male subjects in the same region (t =2.63,2.20;all P ＜ 0.05);There was significant difference in corneal thickness between male and female at ST (t =3.1 1,2.79,2.33;all P ＜ 0.05).The corneal epithelium was the thickest at IT5,I7,and I9,and the lowest at S5,S7 and S9,and there was no significant difference compared with female in the same region (all P ＞ 0.05).The corneal epithelium of female at the IT5,T7,N9 were the thickest,SN5,S7,S9 were the thinnest;Except for M2 and SN5,there was no significant differences in corneal epithelium between male and female groups (all P ＞ 0.05).Corneal central epithelium accounted for the largest percentage of total corneal thickness,and gradually decreased from inside to outside.Conclusion OCTA can be used to measure the thickness of corneal and corneal epithelial regions.

Objective: To establish a method for the determination of diethyl phthalate by gas chromatography in the air of workplaces. Methods: Diethyl phthalate in the air of workplace was collected throμgh glass fiber filter, eluted with methylbenzene, and detected by gas chromatography coupled with FID detectors. Results: The linear range of diethyl phthalate determined by this method was 14.0~1 400 μg/ml, y=2.09801x-3.66229, and the coefficient correlation was 0.999 99. The detection limit was 1.10 μg/ml, and the minimum detection concentration was 0.18mg/m³ (collected sample volume was 30 L) . The within-run precisions were 1.04%~2.75%, and the between-run precisions were 0.34%~1.30%. The recovery rates were 98.72%~103.21%, and sampling efficiency was 97.2%~100.0%. The elution efficiencies were 97.25%~98.68%. The samples could be stored at room temperature for 15 days. Conclusion The indicators established in this study were conformed with the requirements of GBZ/T210.4-2008, "The Guidelines for the Development of Occupational Hygiene Standards Methods Part 4: Determination of Chemical Substances in the Air of Workplaces" . Diethyl phthalate in the workplace air could be rapidly collected, accurate separated and determinated. This method is applicable to the determination of diethyl phthalate in the workplace air.

Objective To utilize evidence-based nursing to extubate stomach tube early for one patients with postoperative hepatectomy, and to evaluate clinical effects and the impact on postoperative rehabilitation.Methods According to patient′ s condition and clinical issues of PICO principle, we retrieve Ovid-EBM Reviews, Medline, Trip Database, CNKI, Wanfang Database, VIP Database and so on from 1995 to 2014 to acquire the clinical guideline, system evaluation, random control trail, evidence abstract and literature review and other evidences, and assess the quality of acquired evidences. Results There were 2 system evaluation, 3 random control trail, 1 non-random control trail. The extubation of stomach tube early after hepatectomy could minimize the discomfort incidences of pharynx, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, and could not increase the complication incidences of patients′ nausea, vomiting, ventosity, pulmonary infections and so on. Combined with patient′s condition and intention, the stomach tube could be extubate 10 hrs after hepatectomy and patients could discharged 7 d after operation. Conclusions The extubation of stomach tube early after hepatectomy is a safe and feasible method which is beneficial for patients′ recovery.

Persistent fetal vasculature syndrome (PFVS) is a rare congenital vitreous dysplasia, which is classified as anterior, posterior and combined types according to the location of the vascular abnormalities. The clinical manifestations of PFVS are diverse, and early surgical intervention is very important. The main objective of surgical treatment is to remove the anterior and posterior traction between fibrovascular membranes and retina as well as lens, and to reconstruct clear visual axis. Surgical treatments include pupilloplasty, lensectomy with or without intraocular lens implantation and vitrectomy via limbal or scleral approach. For new technologies, the applications of ophthalmic viscosurgical device and femtosecond lasers have desirable results . In addition to focusing on improving the success rate of surgery, it is also necessary to systematically and comprehensively assess the overall preoperative condition and postoperative visual function of the patients. PFVS eyes have limited improvement in postoperative vision, which is related to the extent of lesion involvement and the occurrence of complications. Eyes with macular dysplasia and tractional retinal detachment, as well as elongated ciliary process, have a poor prognosis of vision after surgery. How to improve postoperative vision in the eye affecting the posterior segment of the eye with PFVS from the microscopic anatomical relationship between the fibrous vascular pedicle and the retina is worth further study. On the other hand, reducing surgical trauma and optimizing surgical procedures in order to improve postoperative visual acuity and reduce postoperative complications are also the key research directions of future PFVS treatments.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of PLA2R1 in renal biopsy specimens of patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) and explore the relationship between PLA2R1 and IMN. Methods A total of 108 adult patients with biopsy-proved glomerular diseases were enrolled in this study, including 41 with IMN, 2 with hepatitis B-associated membranous nephropathy, 8 with V lupus nephritis, 27 with IgA nephropathy, 19 with minimal change nephropathy, 5 with mild mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis, and 6 with focal segmental glomeruloselerosis (FSGS). Indirect immunofluorescence assay was used to detect PLA2R1 in the biopsy specimens and the clinical variables of the IMN patients were analyzed. Results In 35 of the 41 (85.37%) patients with IMN, PLA2R1 was detected with a fine granular pattern in the subepithelial deposits along the glomerular capillary loops. PLA2R1 antigen was not detected in patients with other glomerulopathies. No significant differences were found in age, serum creatinine, serum albumin, or 24-h urinary protein level between PLA2R1-positive and negative patients with IMN (P>0.05). Conclusion According to our results, 85.37% of adult patients with biopsy-proven IMN are positive for PLA2R1 antigen, which, however, does not contribute to variations of the patients' clinical manifestations.

Objective: The objective of this study was to compare the early clinical effects of zirconia all⁃ceramic crowns using two different impression methods. Zirconia ceramic crowns were produced using digital models based on either a silicone rubber impression perfusion model in vitro or a 3D mouth scanner. Methods : A total of 50 patients with a planned restoration of the first permanent molar with zirconia all⁃ceramic crowns after root canal therapy were se⁃ lected and randomly divided into two groups: a digital impression by intraoral 3D scanning group and a digital impres⁃ sion by extraoral scanning after silicone rubber impression group. Zirconia all⁃ceramic crowns were created by CAD/ CAM in both groups. Marginal adaptation, proximal contact, and occlusal contact were compared between groups. Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in marginal adaptation (P > 0.05). For proximal con⁃ tact and occlusal contact, no significant differences regarding the number of cases for the criteria of level A and level B were found between two groups (P > 0.05), while the misfit value in level B was smaller in the first group than in the second group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Zirconia all⁃ceramic crowns with intraoral 3D scanning show excellent early clinical performance.
